To run a 24/7 Bollywood instrumental radio stream on YouTube, you need a channel enabled for live streaming, permission to use every recording and composition, a continuous audio-video feed from an encoder, and a plan for monitoring interruptions. Clear music rights before you build the playlist: YouTube scans live streams for third-party content, and a stream can be interrupted even when you have a licence if the rights holder has not allowlisted your channel.
Before you start: clear the music rights
“Instrumental” does not mean copyright-free. A Bollywood instrumental recording can involve rights in both the sound recording and the underlying composition. For each track, identify the relevant rights holders and obtain written permission covering continuous YouTube livestreaming. Confirm the territory, licence duration, monetization, and whether the permission also covers an archived replay.
Ask the rights holder or distributor about adding your channel to its Content ID allowlist. YouTube says a live stream can be interrupted even if you have licensed third-party content when your channel is not allowlisted. YouTube also scans live streams for matches and may replace or interrupt a stream, or terminate it if a match remains. See YouTube’s guidance on copyright issues with live streams and how Content ID matching works on live streams.
- Do not assume a streaming subscription, a radio permission, permission to make a cover, or a “royalty-free” label automatically covers YouTube livestreaming.
- Keep the written licences, rights-holder contacts, and track list together. If a match occurs, this information helps you identify the track and resolve the issue.
- Clear any artwork, video clips, animations, or other audio in the visual feed too.
- If you cannot confirm the rights for a track, leave it out or delay launch until you can. Use music you own or can document permission to stream.
YouTube for Artists recommends coordinating with a label or distributor when using copyright-protected music in a live stream. Its Going Live for Music Channels resource also recommends testing an unlisted stream before a high-investment broadcast.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Enable live streaming on your YouTube channel
- Verify your YouTube channel and enable live streaming in YouTube Studio. YouTube’s Get started with live streaming guidance says the channel must not have had live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days. First-time activation may take at least 24 hours, so do this well before your planned launch.
- Meet YouTube’s age requirement: the person streaming must be at least 16.
- In YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room, create or schedule a live event and choose the encoder method. The encoder sends the continuous audio-video feed; a computer-generated radio visual and music programme is suited to this method.
- Start with a private or unlisted test rather than making your first encoder test public. Confirm that YouTube receives the feed and that the image and sound play as expected.
Prepare the station programme
Build a playlist from tracks whose permissions cover the intended use. Keep a copy of the running order and note the licence or rights-holder contact for each recording. Accurate track and artist labels can help listeners, but ensure the metadata is correct and consistent with the permission you have.
Choose a stable image or simple loop, plus a station title and visual identity. A static visual requires less production work than an animated one; either way, the artwork and any animation must also be cleared for use. Avoid adding third-party clips or background sounds unless your permissions cover them.

Prepare a replacement playlist of separately cleared tracks. If a rights notice appears during the broadcast, you need a lawful substitute rather than a plan to evade audio matching.
Choose how to keep the feed running
Run an encoder on a computer
A local computer can send the audio and visual to YouTube, but it must stay powered on, connected to the internet, and running the encoder. A dedicated machine can keep the station separate from your everyday computer; YouTube does not prescribe a minimum hardware configuration or require you to buy a new computer. This option gives you direct control, while making the broadcast dependent on your local power, connection, and software.

Use a hosted encoder
A hosted system can avoid keeping a computer at home running continuously, but check that the service supports persistent YouTube streams, recovery behavior, remote monitoring, and costs before relying on it. The official platform documentation describes the livestream components and 24/7 broadcasts; it does not establish which hardware vendor or hosting provider is best. In either setup, you remain responsible for music rights and YouTube’s rules.
Configure, test, and launch the broadcast
- In YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room, create or schedule the broadcast, select the encoder workflow, and retrieve its stream settings.
- Enter the stream settings in your compatible encoder and select the prepared audio-video programme. Treat the stream key as a credential: do not share or publish it. If it is exposed, replace it in YouTube Studio and update the encoder.
- Start a private or unlisted test. Check that the signal is arriving, the audio is free of gaps and distortion, the visual is correct, and the sound and picture stay aligned.
- Listen for a meaningful period and verify that the broadcast remains live. Check the Live Control Room and Studio for warnings or copyright notices before switching to a public event.
- For launch, start the feed in the encoder and confirm the event is live in YouTube Studio. Keep a restart procedure and a person or alert responsible for checking the stream.
YouTube’s Live Streaming API distinguishes the liveBroadcast (the event or video) from the liveStream (the feed). API automation is optional; you can create and run the event through Studio and a compatible encoder. See Google’s YouTube Live Streaming API overview and explanation of broadcasts and streams.

Monitor the stream and handle problems
- No signal in YouTube Studio: Check that the encoder is running, the correct stream settings are selected, the stream key has not changed, and the source computer has power and internet access.
- The stream stops after a local outage or restart: Restore power and connectivity, reopen the encoder if needed, and confirm the event is receiving a feed again. A continuous local setup depends on the source system staying online.
- YouTube shows a copyright match or interrupts the feed: Stop or replace the affected track with a separately cleared one, then contact the rights holder or distributor. Confirm whether the channel must be allowlisted. Do not attempt to bypass matching.
- Audio gaps, distortion, or out-of-sync picture: Check the source files and encoder playback, then repeat the test before returning to a public broadcast.
- The stream is live but the listening experience is interrupted by ads: Review the live monetization and ad choices in Studio, the audience experience you intend to offer, and what your music licence permits.
Monetization: possible, not guaranteed
Eligible channels may use live ads, Super Chat and Super Stickers, and memberships, subject to YouTube’s eligibility and setup requirements. Ads are not guaranteed to appear. Mid-roll ads may interrupt a radio-style listening session, so weigh the listener experience against the terms of your music licences. YouTube’s live-stream monetization guidance explains the available features; do not assume a stream will earn a particular amount.
Or let it run in the cloud
StreamNeo is a cloud service for keeping a YouTube channel live 24/7 from uploaded videos. Upload your recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. The cloud keeps the stream running without a computer or home connection staying on. It plays uploaded videos, not a live camera feed, and does not provide permission for music: clear every track and visual for your intended use before uploading.
