To loop Hindi songs in a 24/7 YouTube live stream, prepare music you have permission to use in a livestream, set it to repeat in an encoder or continuous-stream service, and send that program to YouTube using the stream URL and key from YouTube Studio. Preview and monitor the feed in Live Control Room. Rights come first: YouTube scans live streams for third-party content, and a stream can be interrupted even when you have a license if the rights holder has not allowlisted your channel.
Before you start: verify the channel and clear the music
Check live-stream eligibility
YouTube says a channel must be verified and must not have had live-streaming restrictions in the past 90 days. First-time live-stream activation can take up to 24 hours, so enable it well before the time you plan to launch.
Get permission for the specific songs and recordings
For commercial Hindi recordings, obtain permission that covers livestream use and the territories where you intend to broadcast. Keep written records and confirm which rights holders must grant permission. YouTube’s terms say creators must have all necessary rights for live content, including applicable music rights from artists, record labels, publishers and other royalty participants. The terms do not determine which licenses a particular song requires in each territory.
Owning or buying a song, crediting its artist in the description, or having permission to upload it as an ordinary video does not by itself establish permission to use it in a live stream. YouTube identifies public-domain music and music used with permission as safe-use options; it also recommends original music, the YouTube Audio Library, Creator Music for eligible formats and regions, or third-party sources whose licenses you have checked. For a Hindi track you specifically want to broadcast, verify the rights for both the composition and the recording, including live use.

Ask about Content ID allowlisting
If a rights holder has licensed the music, ask whether it can add your YouTube channel to its Content ID allowlist. YouTube says live streams are scanned for third-party content and may be interrupted or terminated when a match remains. A license does not necessarily prevent interruption if the channel has not been allowlisted.
Set up the continuous stream
- Create or schedule an encoder stream: In YouTube Studio, open Live Control Room and create or schedule a stream using an encoder. YouTube supports encoder software and hardware; its encoder documentation also lists Gyre as a cloud-based option for 24/7 streaming of prerecorded videos. That listing is not an endorsement, so check the service’s current features and terms before choosing it.
- Copy the stream URL and key: Get these from the stream settings in YouTube Studio and enter them in your chosen encoder or continuous-stream service. Treat the stream key as private: it is the credential that lets the encoder send a feed to your channel. If it is exposed, replace it in Studio and update the encoder configuration.
- Prepare and repeat the program: Add the Hindi-song audio or audiovisual program you are authorized to use, then configure repeat playback in the encoder or hosted service. YouTube’s encoder guidance explains how the feed reaches YouTube but does not prescribe a particular product’s playlist-loop controls. Use the playback product’s current instructions, and test that the program restarts cleanly and audio continues without gaps before relying on it for a long broadcast.
- Preview before going live: Check the preview in Live Control Room. Confirm that the expected video or audio is present, playback is repeating, and YouTube is receiving the feed before starting the public stream.
- Monitor the broadcast: Keep an eye on the stream page and audio/video quality. YouTube recommends sufficient upload bandwidth, bandwidth headroom, and continuous monitoring. A local encoder also depends on its computer, playback software, and network continuing to operate; a hosted option shifts playback off the local computer but still requires you to check its own service terms and continuity.
Choose where the loop runs
| Option | Where playback runs | What to weigh |
|---|---|---|
| Local encoder | Your computer or encoder hardware | You control the setup, but the playback and encoding system and its network need to keep operating. |
| Cloud continuous-stream service | A hosted service | A dedicated PC need not stay online at home; check the provider’s current features, account terms and service continuity. |
YouTube’s documented workflow does not make a dedicated PC, hardware encoder, audio interface, external drive, router upgrade, or UPS a universal requirement. Add equipment only if your own performance or reliability needs call for it.

Copyright and monetization are separate questions
Creator Music does not grant live-use rights
YouTube says Creator Music licenses and revenue-sharing tracks are for long-form videos, not live streams; its FAQ says licensing for live content is not supported. Do not infer livestream permission from an upload license. Check the terms for each track and its rights holders.

A continuous loop does not guarantee monetization
YouTube Partner Program eligibility and revenue are not assured by looping songs or by clearing copyright. YouTube’s monetization policy applies to live streams and assesses channel content, including whether material is reused without significant original contribution or is repetitive or mass-produced. Copyright permission and monetization eligibility are distinct requirements.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Plan for long broadcasts and archives
YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. A continuous 24/7 broadcast exceeds that threshold, so do not assume the entire stream will be available as one replay. If keeping an archive matters, check current Studio behavior and plan a local recording or another suitable archive process.

Troubleshooting common problems
- Live streaming is unavailable: Verify the channel and check whether it has live-stream restrictions in the past 90 days. If this is the first activation, allow up to 24 hours for it to become available.
- YouTube is not receiving the feed: Check that the encoder uses the stream URL and key copied from the correct Studio stream. Confirm the encoder is sending, and replace an exposed key in Studio before updating the encoder.
- The stream stops or is terminated after music begins: A Content ID match may be responsible. Review YouTube’s notice, contact the relevant rights holder, and verify that permissions cover livestream use and that the channel has been allowlisted where necessary. Do not simply restart with the same disputed track.
- The playlist does not repeat cleanly: Test the loop before launch and check the chosen playback tool’s repeat configuration. YouTube’s encoder guidance does not define a universal loop setting for third-party software.
- Audio or video quality degrades or drops: Check the source playback and connection, provide upload-bandwidth headroom, and monitor the stream in Live Control Room. For local encoding, also check that the computer and encoder remain running.
