KnowBe4 has connected its Agent Risk Manager to Anthropic’s Claude Compliance API so organizations can bring Claude activity into KnowBe4’s AI-risk console. The integration currently supports discovery, logging, and monitoring—not blocking. KnowBe4 described access as limited to select customers on September 29, 2026; Anthropic’s integration directory listed general availability as planned for November 2026, which was still a future date as of October 3, 2026.
What the integration lets Agent Risk Manager monitor
KnowBe4 says the connection can surface Claude workspaces associated with an organization’s compliance API key and add Claude activity to Agent Risk Manager. Its described capabilities include an inventory of Claude agents and tools, an AI Activity Log for detections and policy events, and risk analysis associated with people involved in agent activity. These are vendor-described functions, not independent findings about detection accuracy or effectiveness. KnowBe4’s September 29, 2026 announcement identifies risks such as prompt injection, sensitive-information exposure, privilege escalation, excessive agency, and unapproved access.
What administrators can see depends on the deployment
KnowBe4 distinguishes between Claude Platform and Claude Enterprise. Claude Platform activity logs are visible to the integration; Claude Enterprise may also provide conversation content, including chats and files. The announcement does not establish that chats and files are exposed for every Claude plan or deployment, so administrators should not assume identical visibility across their organization. What permissions and setup are required?
The KnowBe4 integration guide, last updated September 22, 2026, requires an Anthropic organization subscription and Agent Risk Manager administrator access. A Primary Owner of the Anthropic organization must create the compliance access key with both of these scopes:

After the key is created, an Agent Risk Manager administrator adds it under Setup > Integrations. The organization ID field can be left blank for automatic discovery, or the administrator can enter organization IDs. KnowBe4 says the key is encrypted at rest and is not displayed again after it is saved; retain the credential securely before completing setup.
Can Agent Risk Manager block Claude activity today?
No. The KnowBe4 setup guide states that the integration currently ingests and monitors AI activity, while integration policies—including measures to block unwanted activity—are coming soon. That distinction matters operationally: the documented Claude connection is for visibility and monitoring, not an enforcement control that prevents an action from occurring.

Who can use the integration, and when is it generally available?
Availability statements have dates and should not be read as a universal rollout. KnowBe4 said on September 29, 2026 that the Claude integration was in early access for select customers, with expanded access coming soon. Separately, Anthropic’s integration directory listed KnowBe4 general availability as planned for November 2026. As of October 3, 2026, that November date remained a plan, not confirmation that general availability had begun. KnowBe4 announcement; Anthropic’s integrations page
KnowBe4’s August 4, 2026 early-access post previously described automatic enablement for SAT Advanced customers on direct-sale U.S.-tenant accounts. That is dated program context, not evidence that all such accounts—or other customer tiers—are currently eligible. Administrators should confirm current access with KnowBe4 rather than infer eligibility from that earlier description. KnowBe4’s August 4, 2026 early-access post

Why KnowBe4 is emphasizing agent oversight
In its September 29, 2026 article, KnowBe4 cited its 2026 From Agentic Risk to Human Wins report, saying 58% of surveyed cybersecurity leaders reported agents already taking real actions inside organizational workflows and 52% reported unapproved or ungoverned AI use. These are figures as KnowBe4 reported them; they should not be treated as independently verified or generalized beyond that survey population. KnowBe4’s article and attribution
The announcement fits KnowBe4’s broader positioning of AI agents as part of the workforce to govern. In an April 14, 2026 launch release, the company attributed this statement to Greg Kras, its chief product officer: “The industry has spent years securing the human element, but today, AI agents are the newest members of our workforce.” KnowBe4’s April 14, 2026 release

What administrators should verify before rollout
- Confirm the organization has the required Anthropic subscription and identify its Primary Owner and Agent Risk Manager administrator.
- Decide which Claude deployment is in use and what telemetry it makes available; do not assume enterprise conversation content is present in Claude Platform logs.
- Plan for monitoring and investigation workflows. Do not treat the integration as a blocking or prevention mechanism while KnowBe4 says blocking policies are forthcoming.
- Check current eligibility with KnowBe4 because its select-customer early-access statement and Anthropic’s planned November 2026 availability have different dates and statuses.
- Assess detection claims as vendor-described capabilities: the cited materials do not provide independent validation of accuracy, customer outcomes, or comparative performance.
