Where to look for 30th Celebration Pokémon cards
Start with official channels
Pokémon Support says products can be purchased directly from Pokémon Center and recommends its Retail Locator for nearby retailers of official Pokémon products. Its separate TCG product guide names Walmart, Target, GameStop, and reputable local hobby shops as places where trading card products may be found. These recommendations apply to U.S. and Canadian buyers; they do not confirm current stock, a particular location’s participation, or a specific price.
Check the retailer’s own product page or call the local store before making a trip. Confirm the exact product, seller, displayed price, shipping, taxes, and any purchase limit. Stock and release availability can change, and no live retailer inventory or listing price is established here.
How to judge whether a listing is at MSRP
The official Pokémon sources cited in this guide do not publish a U.S. MSRP for the 30th Celebration Mini Tin, Booster Bundle, or other named products. There is therefore no supported dollar figure to use as a universal MSRP benchmark. Compare the displayed price with a price stated by Pokémon or the retailer when available, and inspect whether shipping and taxes change the total. Do not treat a marketplace seller’s asking price as MSRP simply because the product is sealed or hard to find.

What released, and what is coming later
Pokémon announced the TCG’s 30th anniversary on February 27, 2026, describing a coordinated global launch in participating markets followed by additional products during the year. The 30th Celebration expansion launched September 16, 2026, and Pokémon describes it as containing over 150 cards across the main set and a Classic Collection. Newly available October 2
Pokémon’s October product roundup, published October 1, lists the Mini Tin and Booster Bundle as available October 2. That release date does not establish that either product is in stock at any particular shop today.

These contents and dates come from Pokémon’s October 2026 product roundup. Pokémon’s product showcase says each booster pack contains five foil cards, including one of 30 unique Pikachu illustrations, plus one foil Basic Energy card. Pack contents are randomized; that description is not a promise of a particular valuable card.
Other products in the lineup
The launch lineup included a Tech Sticker Collection with three packs and a promo card, a Knock Out Collection with two packs, and a Poster Collection with three packs, according to the official showcase. The same showcase lists an Ultra-Premium Collection and Figure Collection for November 6, 2026, and a Binder Collection for December 4, 2026. Those are future dates relative to October 3, 2026—not proof that the products are available now. Check Pokémon’s official product information and the retailer’s listing before buying or planning around those dates.

Choose a product for what your child wants to do
For opening packs and collecting
The Mini Tin provides two randomized packs along with a sticker sheet and art card; the Booster Bundle provides six randomized packs. Compare the total price and price per pack, but also account for whether the tin’s non-card extras matter to your family. A bundle or collection box does not improve the odds of pulling a particular card: Pokémon says packs included in boxed products are the same packs sold individually and do not have a higher chance of particular cards.
For playing right away
If the goal is to play rather than open packs, a preconstructed deck is a more direct choice. Pokémon describes these as fixed 60-card products intended to be playable out of the box. Booster packs are randomized, so they are not a dependable way to assemble a playable deck.

For promos and accessories
Some collection boxes and Elite Trainer Boxes can include visible promo cards or accessories as well as booster packs, according to Pokémon’s product guide. Consider whether your child will use included items such as sleeves or a binder before paying for a product primarily because it contains extras. Extras do not change the odds of cards in its packs.

A quick parent’s buying checklist
- Confirm the product name and pack count on the official Pokémon page or retailer listing.
- Check Pokémon Center, the Retail Locator, and the named general retail channels, then verify local stock directly.
- Compare the displayed price and full checkout total; do not assume a listing is MSRP when no official price is stated.
- Check seller identity and any purchase limit, especially on marketplace listings.
- Choose fixed deck contents for immediate play; choose randomized packs for the opening-and-collecting experience.
- Set a family spending limit that does not depend on pulling a specific card.
