As of October 2, Texas A&M wide receiver Mario Craver was expected to play against Arkansas in Week 5, but remained a game-time decision. RotoWire reported that he was listed as questionable on the SEC availability report; the pregame update was not confirmation that he would take the field or receive a full workload.
What was Craver’s status before kickoff?
RotoWire’s October 2 update said Craver was expected to play, citing On3 reporter Pete Nakos. The same update described him as a game-time decision and said the SEC availability report listed him as questionable. The specific medical issue was not disclosed, so there is no established basis to identify an injury or affected body part. RotoWire’s status report is a pregame expectation, not a confirmed participation report.
The SEC maintains an official football availability-report archive, but the individual archived entry was not directly verified here. The questionable designation should therefore be attributed to RotoWire’s account of the SEC report.

Texas A&M was scheduled to host Arkansas in College Station on Saturday, October 3, 2026, with kickoff at 6:05 p.m. Central. The matchup was the 83rd meeting between the teams. What did Craver have at stake in the game?
Texas A&M’s game notes listed 22 receptions for Craver entering the Arkansas game. The team’s event page said he would look to extend his consecutive-games-with-a-reception streak to 17 straight. That was a pregame milestone target; the information available before kickoff does not establish whether he extended it.
Who is Mario Craver?
Texas A&M lists Craver as a junior wide receiver wearing No. 1. The school’s roster profile credits him with 59 receptions for 917 yards and four receiving touchdowns in the 2025 season, and 76 career receptions for 1,285 yards and seven receiving touchdowns entering 2026.
