Michael Harris II hit a three-run homer in the bottom of the first inning, helping Atlanta beat Philadelphia 6-2 in Game 3 of the 2026 NL Wild Card Series on Thursday, Oct. 1. The win ended the three-game series and sent the Braves through.
How Harris changed Game 3
Harris went 1-for-3, with his first-inning home run giving Atlanta an early lead and putting the Braves in control. Atlanta held on to win 6-2. The result ended the series against the Phillies and advanced the Braves, according to the CBS Sports recap published Oct. 2, 2026.
Harris’s production across the series
Across the three games, Harris went 5-for-11 and scored two runs, in addition to the decisive homer in Game 3. Those series figures are reported by CBS Sports’ syndicated RotoWire recap.
His 2026 season in context
The same report says Harris hit 26 home runs and posted a .812 OPS across 155 regular-season games in 2026. It contrasts that with a .677 OPS in 2025, which it describes as a career worst.
