Christos Tzolis was reportedly substituted with a suspected hamstring problem during Greece’s match against the Netherlands on October 1, 2026. A two-to-three-week absence has been reported, but no official Arsenal diagnosis, scan result or return date is established in the available updates.
What happened to Christos Tzolis?
Sky Sports reported that Tzolis received treatment for an apparent hamstring issue and left after 18 minutes of Greece’s Nations League match against the Netherlands on October 1, 2026. The report also said he had scored shortly before the goal was ruled out for offside. This is match reporting, not confirmation of the injury’s severity or diagnosis. Sky Sports

RotoWire, in an update published October 2, reported an expected absence of two to three weeks, attributing that estimate to Dimitris Manakos. It said Tzolis would return from Greece duty to Arsenal for rehabilitation. This is a secondary report, not an Arsenal medical announcement. RotoWire

The Arsenal official news listing reviewed for this update included material about Tzolis signing for the club but did not show an injury announcement.
