It is a single-player action-and-mystery adventure built around puzzles, minigames, traps and stealth, and Nintendo says you do not need to have played earlier Creepy Tale games.
What to expect from Snow Child
Nintendo describes the game as a sinister, twisted take on the Creepy Tale universe. Players follow Blizzy into Hell, where they face puzzles and minigames alongside traps and enemies that require agility and stealth. The publisher-provided description calls it “An explosive mix of action and mystery, seasoned with black humor and a sinister atmosphere.”
Although it belongs to the Creepy Tale series, Nintendo says earlier entries are not necessary to understand Snow Child, making this a possible starting point for newcomers.
Nintendo Switch release details
Nintendo lists the Switch edition as digital, with an estimated download size of 2.9 GB. The store page specifies one player on a single system and support for TV, tabletop and handheld play modes. The listing is for Nintendo Switch; Nintendo notes that software compatibility and play experience may differ on Switch Lite.

The Canadian Nintendo listing names Sometimes You as publisher and Creepy Brothers as developer. Its supported-language list is Japanese, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Korean, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Brazilian Portuguese, American English and Polish.
Release dates by platform
The October 15 date applies to the Nintendo Switch and Xbox listings. The PC release date is earlier; it should not be confused with the Switch launch.

What the Switch listing does—and does not—establish
Nintendo’s Canadian page lists a digital Switch edition. It does not establish a physical cartridge release, so the store information supports planning for a digital download rather than assuming a boxed version will be available. The listing also does not provide a price in the supplied product details.
The Switch 2 note is limited: Nintendo says behavior is consistent with Nintendo Switch on Switch 2, while warning that compatibility and play experience can differ on Switch Lite. It is not a broader guarantee about every configuration or future update.
