EA published one official announcement for its College Football 27 update dated October 1, 2026. MP1st reported that players received two downloads that day, numbered 1.013 and 1.014, a short time apart. EA’s accessible announcement does not confirm those version numbers or explain why there were two downloads.
What EA’s October 1 update covers
EA’s official listing, published September 30, calls the release “College Football 27 Title Update October 1st, 2026”. It identifies gameplay, Dynasty and Team Builder, Road to Glory, Ultimate Team, uniforms, and audio as areas of change. The accessible listing establishes that scope, but does not expose the complete patch-note text.
Why players saw two downloads
MP1st reported on October 1 that update 1.013 arrived first and update 1.014 followed an hour or two later. The report said EA had not communicated in advance that players would receive two downloads. The accessible EA listing does not provide the version numbers or an explanation for the sequence, so the reason for the split remains unconfirmed.
