Their map markers indicate the general areas, but each entrance is underground. Three facilities have Soda Dispenser transformation puzzles; the other three have timed power-core puzzles. After shutting down all six experiments, return to the Unknown facility and enter the Threshold passage to finish the quest.
How does the quest start?
Entering any one of the six Testing Facilities starts the quest, and you can complete the facilities in any order. The Evacuation Zone facility is a useful first stop: its Testing Facility Coordinates file marks the other locations on the map. Treat each marker as an area to search, not as the entrance itself; entrances are in pipes, pits, or sewer routes.
The in-game quest description reproduced by PowerPyx reads: “During the Oldest House lockdown, it seems like FBC researchers were running experiments in facilities across the city.”

These routes and puzzle details are reported in walkthroughs by PowerPyx (September 26, 2026), AllThingsHow (updated September 23, 2026), and GamesRadar+. The walkthroughs identify six facilities; there is no Underpass facility in this quest.

How to solve the Soda Dispenser facilities
Downtown, Evacuation Zone, and West Incursion Zone use the same object-transformation idea. Each room has five objects, marked floor lines, target positions, and a console switch. Carrying an object across a line changes its form. The goal is to get every target object into the Soda Dispenser state, place it on a target, and then activate the switch.
- Read the whiteboard. AllThingsHow advises checking it for the transformation order.
- Watch the object’s state as it crosses a line. The starting forms are randomized, so a fixed sequence from another playthrough may not apply.
- Stop routing once an object is correct. Avoid crossing another line after it becomes a Soda Dispenser; place it on its target instead.
- Check the room’s layout. In Evacuation Zone, one target is upstairs and four are downstairs.
- Activate the switch after placing all five.
How to solve the power-core facilities
Central, The Park, and the Unknown use a timed charge-balancing puzzle. Start the sequence, then move charges between stations as their indicators flash. The objective is to keep the system from overloading a charged core or leaving an empty one without a charge for too long. The reported sequence lasts 60 seconds.

Watch for the blinking blue charged stations and blinking red empty stations, and keep transferring charges as the indicators change. The walkthroughs describe the same balancing principle at all three locations; the core count differs.

- Shut down the experiments at all six facilities.
- If needed, return to the Unknown facility, west of the Twisted Rooftops fast-travel door.
- In the room with the Power Upgrade crate, operate the switch to open the passage.
- Follow the passage to the recording beside the body and enter the final Threshold.
PowerPyx describes reaching the recording as completing the quest, and GamesRadar+ also identifies the Unknown facility as the final Threshold location. The sixth shutdown is therefore not the last step: you still need to take the passage at the Unknown.
