Richard Stark has left KPMG after just over 20 years with the firm. His next employer and role have not been announced; he says he plans to continue his work in the North West.

What is confirmed about Stark’s departure?

BusinessCloud reported on October 2, 2026, that Stark had left KPMG after more than 20 years. The publication identified his most recent position as a corporate finance partner. In his LinkedIn departure post, Stark described his time at the firm as “an immensely rewarding period” and said he would be “forever grateful” for the opportunities and experiences it provided.

Where is Stark going next?

Stark has not named a new employer or job title. He wrote that he would continue “the job I love somewhere new, from my home market of the NW,” indicating that his next work will be based in the North West. When was his last day at KPMG?
