When does Croc 2 come out on PS4 and PS5?
Argonaut announced on October 1, 2026, that development was complete and the digital release was set for October 29, 2026. The announcement names both PS4 and PS5; this is not a PS5-only release. Argonaut’s launch announcement

The announcement confirms these platforms for the digital launch. It does not establish regional store listings or a physical edition, so neither a disc release nor a specific store listing should be assumed.
What is Croc 2?
This is Croc 2: Kingdom of the Gobbos, the 1999 sequel to Croc: Legend of the Gobbos—not a remaster of the first game. The original Croc 2 appeared on PlayStation and Windows in 1999. In the sequel, Croc leaves Gobbo Valley to search for his birth parents, while Baron Dante returns as his adversary. Argonaut’s history page

Argonaut describes four distinct villages and more than 40 levels of open-ended 3D platforming. Croc’s moves and sequences go beyond standard jumping: the listed activities include triple jumps, racing cars and speedboats, minecart rides, hang-gliding and flying an airplane. The remaster also includes Croc2pedia, a digital museum of development material. Argonaut says it contains design documents, marketing and promotional assets, 3D models, and interviews with members of the original and remaster teams.

Is there a price or physical edition?
Argonaut’s October 1 announcement confirms a digital launch but gives no price and does not confirm a physical edition for the remaster. Treat those details as unannounced rather than infer them from other Croc products. Argonaut separately lists a Croc 2 25th Anniversary Edition for Game Boy Color / Chromatic; that is a distinct handheld product, not the PS4/PS5 remaster. Argonaut’s 25th Anniversary Edition page
