A 25-year-old man was arrested on October 1 after allegedly driving through an automatic boom barrier at a high-rise in Noida’s Sector 94, police said. The reported incident occurred on the morning of September 30, after security guards turned him away from the main gate.
What happened at the Sector 94 high-rise?
According to a Hindustan Times report published October 2, a guard stopped the man at the main entrance and directed him to another entrance. The man said he was going to meet a guest at reception, but guards did not let him in. Police said he then drove through the barrier and left after a verbal altercation.
Sector 126 police station house officer Sumnesh Kumar gave this account: “He told the guards multiple times that he was going to meet a guest at the reception, but they did not allow him to enter. He then drove his car through the boom barrier,” The quoted account is attributed to police; the report does not include a separate account from the guards or the man.
Why was the man arrested?
Police said they registered a case at Sector 126 police station under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita provisions relating to intentional insult and mischief. The report does not specify the statutory section numbers. Police said the vehicle was seized and that the man was arrested on October 1.

What is known about the suspect and case status?
The report describes the suspect as a 25-year-old resident of Sector 15, Noida, who owned a flat in one of the towers and ran a bed-and-breakfast business. It does not name him.
Police said the investigation was ongoing. The report gives no court appearance or final legal outcome, so the arrest should not be read as a conviction.

What evidence has been reported?
Hindustan Times said video of the incident circulated widely on social media. Its account relies on police statements and the circulating video; it does not report an independent forensic examination or separate statements from residents, guards, or the suspect. The driving through the barrier remains an allegation in the published account.
