Evolution Metals & Technologies Corp. (EM&T) has signed a letter of intent with Florida-based VIVIFY Technology to supply behind-the-meter hydrogen power for EM&T’s planned rare-earth magnet and critical-materials operations. The reported 10,000-ton figure is a target for annual production capacity—not evidence that the facility or power system is already operating.
What EM&T and VIVIFY have agreed to
Miami-headquartered EM&T and VIVIFY, a Florida-based technology company, signed a letter of intent (LOI) covering hydrogen power for EM&T’s planned industrial operations. The arrangement is described as behind-the-meter power: electricity generated for use at the industrial site rather than supplied through the ordinary utility meter. The announcement concerns a proposed deployment, not a confirmed operating plant.

What the 10,000-ton target means
EM&T is described as scaling its magnet production capacity to approximately 10,000 tons annually while developing a U.S. industrial campus. That figure is a stated target for annual capacity; it is not a verified production rate, a completed facility, or proof that output has begun. The report does not specify when the target might be reached.

What VIVIFY says about its hydrogen system
According to the report, VIVIFY’s containerized power unit can deliver up to 1 megawatt per container, with additional capacity added by deploying more modules. VIVIFY also says water is the primary fuel input, the system’s output is 99% emission-free, and it requires no ongoing fuel resupply. These are vendor-reported specifications and claims; the report provides no independent emissions analysis or full accounting of the system’s energy inputs.
VIVIFY founder and CEO Jason Herring described the company’s role as ensuring power availability for EM&T’s manufacturing plans. His statement that “The engineering is done. Now it goes to work” does not, by itself, establish that a system has been installed or started up.

Do not confuse EM&T’s plan with Niron Magnetics
A separate U.S. magnet project has also been associated with a proposed 10,000-ton facility. Niron Magnetics is pursuing rare-earth-free iron-nitride magnets, and MPR News reported in August 2026 that the company was conducting nationwide site selection. Niron’s project is distinct from EM&T’s rare-earth magnet and critical-materials plans; the two companies’ technologies and announcements should not be combined. - Whether the LOI advances to a definitive agreement and what obligations such an agreement would create.
- Where the proposed campus and power system would be built, and when installation or operation might begin.
- Whether EM&T reaches its stated annual capacity target.
- How VIVIFY’s emissions figure, water and energy inputs, reliability, and delivered power perform under independently documented operating conditions.
Until those details are announced, the news is best understood as an announced power-supply plan supporting a production ambition—not as proof of a completed hydrogen installation or an operating 10,000-ton magnet business.
