The 10 Best MCP Servers for Marketing (Three Evidence-Backed Picks)

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Short answer: the available first-party documentation supports three dependable recommendations for marketing work, not a defensible ranking of ten comparable servers. Porter Metrics is the strongest fit for cross-platform reporting and workflows, HubSpot’s remote MCP server is the best match for HubSpot account context and selected content or CRM actions, and Google Analytics MCP is the clearest choice for read-only Analytics analysis.

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the connection layer between an AI client and a service. The server name alone does not tell you whether an agent can only read reports, create drafts, publish content, or change a live campaign. The practical choice depends on your data sources, write permissions, approval controls and governance requirements.

Why this is not a conventional ten-item ranking

Marketing MCP coverage is changing quickly, and the vendor documentation reviewed for this article does not establish ten distinct, directly comparable marketing servers. It does establish three products with specific first-party descriptions. Listing directory entries or calling general-purpose integrations “marketing servers” would imply evidence that is not available.

The figures and capabilities below are vendor-documented and were checked on September 30, 2026. They are not independent benchmarks, security audits or hands-on test results. Prices, connector catalogs, permissions and availability can change, so verify the current documentation before connecting a production account.

Quick comparison

Server Best for Documented access Connection and governance
Porter Metrics MCP Server Cross-platform reporting, blended analysis and marketing workflows Queries, hosted reports and a catalog of marketing operations; destructive actions prompt for confirmation Remote OAuth connection; account and at least one authorized source required; roles limit access; third-party tokens are held server-side by Porter
HubSpot remote MCP server HubSpot CRM, content, campaigns and marketing-email context Reads CRM records, activities, marketing content, content analytics and marketing-email data; selected record, page, blog, campaign and email-draft writes Remote OAuth with PKCE; scopes, user permissions, account setup and sensitive-data settings determine access
Google Analytics MCP Read-only Analytics questions, reports and planning Account/property details, reports, funnels, realtime reports and custom dimensions or metrics Read-only; local repository is labeled Experimental and requires Analytics read-only credentials

1. Porter Metrics MCP Server: best for multi-platform marketing work

Porter’s documentation describes a remote MCP server designed to bring several marketing sources into one agent workflow. Listed connector categories include advertising, social insights, analytics, Search Console, ecommerce, CRM, email, databases and spreadsheets. Named sources include Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, GA4, Shopify, Amazon Seller, HubSpot, Klaviyo and Mailchimp.

The documentation reports 32 connectors and 750+ catalog operations (Porter Metrics, documentation checked in 2026). These are catalog counts reported by the vendor at access time, not an independent measure of quality or uptime. Porter describes 28 fixed tools and five groups alongside the larger action catalog.

What you can do

  • Query or blend data from connected platforms.
  • Create and share hosted reports.
  • Use the broader action catalog for supported marketing operations.
  • Ask an agent to perform a destructive action and receive a confirmation prompt before a live campaign is modified.

Setup and permission checks

  1. Create or access a Porter account.
  2. Connect an MCP-compatible client through the documented OAuth flow.
  3. Authorize at least one supported source.
  4. Confirm that the connected user or role can see the required accounts, properties, ad assets or stores.
  5. Before enabling write workflows, inspect the connector’s exact fields, action support and billing implications.

Porter says identity and account roles limit what an agent can access and that third-party tokens are held server-side by Porter. That does not mean Porter owns or operates the underlying advertising, analytics or CRM services.

Choose Porter when

Use it when a single workflow must compare several channels or combine reporting with approved actions. Do not assume every listed connector exposes identical fields or write operations; verify the specific connector before recommending it for a client.

2. HubSpot remote MCP server: best for HubSpot users

HubSpot’s remote MCP server connects an MCP-compatible client to a HubSpot account over OAuth. The technical documentation describes read access to CRM records, activities, marketing content, content analytics, marketing-email data and other account information.

Documented write capabilities

HubSpot also documents selected writes, including creating or editing certain CRM records, creating, editing or publishing website pages and blog posts, managing campaigns, and creating or updating marketing-email drafts. These are not unrestricted automation rights. The exact objects available depend on OAuth scopes, user permissions, account configuration and object availability.

Important limits

  • OAuth uses PKCE, so the client and authorization flow must support it.
  • If Sensitive Data is enabled on an account, some activity and conversation data are blocked through the MCP server.
  • The server is based on CRM search; HubSpot’s documentation says that API currently lacks vector search.
  • The remote account server is different from HubSpot’s local Developer MCP server, which is intended for developer-platform work.

Before connecting customer or conversation data, ask a HubSpot administrator to review configured scopes and permissions. Treat the server as a governed account connection, not as a general-purpose marketing-automation agent with access to everything.

Choose HubSpot when

Choose it when your agent needs HubSpot-native context: contacts, companies, activities, content, campaigns or email drafts. It is a narrower and more predictable choice than a cross-platform catalog when HubSpot is your system of record.

3. Google Analytics MCP: best for read-only Analytics analysis

Google’s developer documentation describes using an LLM with Google Analytics data to answer questions such as user counts or top-selling products and to build a data-informed marketing plan. Google explicitly states: The server is available for read requests only. It can’t edit your Google Analytics configuration or settings. The page was last updated September 16, 2025 UTC. Read Google’s documentation.

What the documented server exposes

The linked official repository documents tools for account and property details, standard reports, funnel reports, realtime reports, and custom dimensions and metrics. It uses the Google Analytics Admin API and Data API.

Setup and status

  1. Use an MCP-compatible client.
  2. Create credentials with Analytics read-only scope.
  3. Authorize access to the required Analytics accounts or properties.
  4. Confirm that the property’s timezone, attribution settings and data-retention rules match the question being asked.

The local repository labels its server Experimental. That label applies to the repository and is not proof that every Google-hosted or client-specific Analytics connection has the same status.

Choose Google Analytics MCP when

Use it for reporting, exploration and planning where read-only access is a feature rather than a limitation. It cannot edit Analytics configuration or settings, so campaign administration must remain in Google Analytics or another approved system.

How to choose among the three

Start with the workflow, not the brand

  • Many sources and actions: begin with Porter and verify each required connector.
  • HubSpot records and content: use HubSpot’s remote server with an administrator-reviewed OAuth grant.
  • Analytics questions only: use Google Analytics MCP and keep the read-only boundary.

Map read and write boundaries

Write access changes the risk profile. Define which actions may be drafted, which may be executed after confirmation, and which are prohibited. Porter documents confirmation for destructive actions. HubSpot documents selected writes governed by scopes and permissions. Google Analytics MCP is read-only.

Check the connection model

Remote servers generally reduce local installation work but require trust in the hosted service and its token handling. Local servers can keep more components in your environment but require credential setup and maintenance. Google’s documented repository is local and experimental; Porter and HubSpot describe remote account connections.

Apply least privilege

  • Use a dedicated role or account where practical.
  • Grant only the properties, portals, ad accounts and objects required.
  • Review OAuth scopes before approval.
  • Keep confirmation gates for publishing, deleting, spending or changing live campaigns.
  • Log agent requests and the resulting API actions.

What about Notion, Atlassian, Asana, Zapier and Google Cloud?

HubSpot’s MCP Client documentation lists Notion, Atlassian, Asana and Zapier as MCP servers that can connect external systems to HubSpot agents. Its examples include querying or updating Notion pages, interacting with Jira and Confluence, managing Asana tasks, and triggering or monitoring Zapier automations. Each has different setup requirements and capabilities. These references do not establish that those products are purpose-built marketing MCP servers, so they should not fill invented slots in a top-ten ranking. See HubSpot’s integration documentation.

Google Cloud’s MCP overview covers authentication, IAM policies, toolsets and Model Armor for governed Google and Google Cloud remote servers. Those are useful evaluation criteria, not a marketing-server recommendation. Read the Google Cloud overview.

Operational checklist before production use

  • Write down the exact questions and actions the agent must support.
  • Verify connector fields and object availability in current vendor documentation.
  • Test with a non-production account or read-only role first.
  • Confirm how sensitive customer, conversation and advertising data are handled.
  • Require human confirmation for publishing, deleting, spending or live-campaign changes.
  • Record OAuth scopes, account roles, token owner and revocation procedure.
  • Measure your own latency, error rate and answer quality; the sources here provide no controlled comparison.

Troubleshooting

The client cannot see any tools

Confirm that the client supports MCP, that the server connection completed OAuth, and that the account or property was actually authorized. For HubSpot, check PKCE support and scopes. For Google Analytics, verify read-only credentials and property access.

An agent can read data but cannot write

This may be intentional. Google Analytics MCP is read-only. For Porter or HubSpot, inspect connector support, OAuth scopes, user roles and account configuration. A documented capability does not override missing permissions.

Results omit sensitive HubSpot activity

HubSpot documents restrictions when Sensitive Data is enabled. Ask an administrator to review the account’s sensitive-data configuration and the scopes granted to the connection.

A campaign action requests confirmation repeatedly

Porter documents confirmation for destructive actions. Treat repeated prompts as a safety control; verify the proposed change rather than bypassing it.

Analytics numbers do not match another report

Check property, date range, timezone, attribution, filters, dimensions, metrics and sampling assumptions. MCP does not remove differences between Analytics reports.

Verdict

There is no evidence-based ten-way winner list yet. Porter Metrics is the practical starting point for multi-source marketing workflows, HubSpot’s remote MCP server is the focused choice for HubSpot context and selected writes, and Google Analytics MCP is the safest fit for read-only Analytics analysis. Select by task and permission boundary, then validate the current vendor documentation and your own account behavior before production use.
