Looka lets you create and edit logo concepts for free, but downloading and using a logo requires a purchase. It offers one-time logo-only packages as well as annual Brand Kit subscriptions; the Web tier adds website publishing. Looka’s current pricing page describes these options but does not show numeric prices in the information available here, so check checkout for the amount before buying.
How Looka works
Looka describes an AI-assisted process: enter a company name and industry, choose preferred styles, colors, and symbols, then review generated logo ideas. Its editor lets you adjust colors, fonts, and layouts. Exploring and previewing designs is free; Looka says you must purchase a package to download and use a logo.

That makes Looka useful to consider if you want to explore logo directions and then choose between a one-time download and a continuing collection of branded templates. The available information does not establish the quality of its generated designs or how it compares with other logo services.
Looka packages and what they include
| Option | Billing | What Looka says is included |
|---|---|---|
| Basic logo package | One-time | One low-resolution PNG. |
| Premium logo package | One-time | Multiple high-resolution file types and logo variations, including PNG, EPS, SVG, and PDF. Looka says it includes full ownership and unlimited post-purchase changes. |
| Brand Kit | Annual subscription | Logo files and more than 300 customizable branded assets, including social content, business cards, email signatures, letterheads, invoices, and brand guidelines. |
| Brand Kit Web | Annual subscription | Brand Kit assets plus website design and hosting. Looka says publishing a website requires this tier; the regular Brand Kit can preview a site but not publish it. Ecommerce is described as a separate upgrade. |
These package descriptions come from Looka’s pricing page and its Brand Kit Web help article. The pricing information available on the current page does not expose numeric amounts. A Looka help article dated December 10, 2024 listed $96 per year for Brand Kit and $129 per year for Brand Kit Web; treat those as historical published prices, not confirmed current checkout prices.

What logo files do you get?
Looka describes Basic as a single low-resolution PNG. Premium includes high-resolution files in PNG, EPS, SVG, and PDF, as well as variations. PNG is a raster image; EPS and SVG are vector formats that are generally useful when a design needs resizing, while PDF can be convenient for sharing or printing. The exact files and variants available to your purchase should be checked in the package details at checkout.
Purchased files are delivered digitally, not as printed items. Looka says its print-ready PDF can be sent to a local printer or an on-demand print service; printing itself must be arranged separately.

What happens after purchase?
Looka’s June 27, 2025 help article says logo files are available from the Brand Kit area even if you bought a logo-only package. You can download all files or selected variants, and Looka also sends the files by email. Downloads arrive as a ZIP file. Looka recommends using a computer because some phones and tablets have difficulty extracting ZIP archives without additional software.
Looka says purchased logos can be edited and downloaded again, and its Premium package description specifies unlimited post-purchase changes. There is an important boundary: Looka says you cannot change the company-name text after purchase. Confirm the name and spelling before you buy.

Who owns a Looka logo?
Looka says buyers retain rights to the logo as a whole, including after a Brand Kit subscription expires. Its qualification matters: the claim applies to the complete logo design, not to individual elements such as symbols. Looka also advises customers seeking legal trademark protection to contact their local government office.
This is Looka’s description of its rights terms, not a guarantee that a logo can be registered as a trademark or that every component is legally exclusive. Review the applicable purchase terms and seek local legal guidance if trademark protection is central to your decision.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Is Looka worth it?
Looka’s package choice mainly depends on whether you need a logo download or an ongoing set of brand materials. A one-time logo package avoids an annual subscription, while Brand Kit is aimed at customers who expect to use its customizable templates. Brand Kit Web is the relevant option if you want to publish a Looka-hosted website; ecommerce requires the separate upgrade described by Looka.
- Consider a logo-only package if your priority is downloading a logo and you do not need recurring access to branded templates.
- Consider Brand Kit if you expect to use the social, stationery, and other customizable assets over the subscription period.
- Consider Brand Kit Web if you want website design, hosting, and publishing through Looka; check the separate ecommerce terms if you need online sales.
Because current numeric prices are not established here, compare the amount shown at checkout with how long you expect to use the subscription and which deliverables you actually need. No independent comparison or hands-on assessment establishes Looka’s design quality, ease of use, support responsiveness, or value against named alternatives.
