Yes, VistaCreate has a free Starter plan, and it includes enough templates, stock media, editing tools, and scheduling to make it a real option for many casual creators and small businesses. Pro is displayed at $10 USD per month and adds a much larger asset library, AI features, resizing, more storage, and team seats. Whether it is worth paying for depends on how often you need those extras—and whether its non-live collaboration and licensing rules fit your work.
This review explains what each plan includes, where Pro may earn its price, and the practical limits to check before you build a workflow around VistaCreate. The figures and plan details below reflect VistaCreate’s published materials in 2026, not independent hands-on testing.
What is VistaCreate?
VistaCreate is a template-led graphic design platform with a browser editor and mobile apps. Its official product pages describe tools for creating social media graphics, marketing materials, web visuals, and selected print formats, alongside templates, stock photos and video, vectors, animation, and AI features. Some formats can be sent to VistaPrint for printing, according to VistaCreate’s homepage.
VistaCreate positions the product as a design tool for people without specialist design skills. That is the company’s marketing claim, not a conclusion from comparative usability testing. This review assesses the published plan details and constraints; it does not claim to have tested editor speed, output quality, or reliability.

Is VistaCreate free?
Yes. VistaCreate’s Starter plan costs $0 and is more than a limited-time trial. The company lists a substantial library and core creation tools on Starter, so users who make occasional designs may have no immediate reason to upgrade.
What Starter includes
- 100,000+ templates and 1M+ photos, videos, and vectors, according to VistaCreate’s 2026 plan materials.
- One Brand Kit and 10 GB of storage.
- Basic design tools, uploads, editing, and exports.
- Social media scheduling and 85 design formats, as listed in the Starter and Pro plan help article.
Starter is a sensible starting point if its available assets and storage cover your work and you do not need Pro-only tools. The useful question is not whether you can create a design for free; it is whether the free library and limits suit your recurring projects.
What does VistaCreate Pro cost, and what does it add?
VistaCreate’s official pages display Pro at $10 USD per month and advertise a 14-day free trial. Because the homepage also shows a higher crossed-out monthly figure and says yearly billing saves 23%, while the help-center copy does not fully spell out every billing cadence or regional checkout difference, treat $10 as the displayed price—not a guaranteed total for every market or billing term. Check the price and renewal terms shown at checkout before subscribing. The plan details are listed in VistaCreate’s plan comparison and its Pro plan article.
| Plan | Published price | Assets and capacity | Notable tools |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $0 | 100,000+ templates; 1M+ photos, videos, and vectors; one Brand Kit; 10 GB storage | Basic design tools, uploads, editing, exports, and social scheduling |
| Pro | $10 USD/month displayed; verify checkout billing terms and regional price | 200K+ premium templates; 170M+ photos, videos, and vectors; unlimited Brand Kits and storage; up to 10 team seats | AI image generation, AI Writer, object and background removal, one-click resizing, Sticker Maker, version history, social scheduling, and HD downloads |
The counts and features in this table are VistaCreate’s 2026 published plan claims, not independently audited library counts. Pro’s plan article specifies 100 AI image generations per month. The published pages do not establish that this monthly quota applies to other AI features, so do not assume it does.

Pro is most relevant if you repeatedly need premium assets, resize designs for multiple placements, use several Brand Kits, or want a larger shared team workspace. Its bundle also includes image-generation and editing features. For a small business producing recurring campaign or social materials, bringing these functions together may be convenient; the feature list alone does not establish that VistaCreate is better value or easier to use than another design platform.
When Starter may be enough
Stay on Starter if you can find suitable free assets, work with one Brand Kit, remain within the 10 GB storage limit, and do not need the Pro-only tools. Since Starter includes editing, exports, and scheduling, paying solely to make basic designs is not necessary.

How does team collaboration work?
VistaCreate’s team feature is not live, simultaneous editing. Its help center says one person must finish editing and close a project before another user continues. Team features are web-only, and the workspace has ownership and transfer limitations described in the Team account help article.
- Team workspace content belongs to the workspace owner.
- Projects cannot be moved from a team workspace into a personal account.
- Brand Kits cannot be transferred directly into team workspaces.
- Team workspace features are available on the web, not in the mobile apps.
This setup may work for a small group that hands projects off in sequence and is comfortable with owner-controlled files. It is a poor fit if your process depends on co-editing the same design at once, moving projects freely between personal and team spaces, or having each contributor retain independent ownership.
Can you use VistaCreate designs commercially?
VistaCreate’s license summary permits many personal and business uses, including client commissions, online use, and printed materials. It also restricts separating or redistributing design elements and using designs to create official logos, company names, or trademarks. Read the current VistaCreate license and any asset-specific terms if your project involves trademark registration, resale, or using a stock element on its own; “royalty-free” does not mean unrestricted.
Rank #4
VistaCreate uses broad marketing language about the commercial safety of AI visuals, but that wording is not a legal guarantee and does not independently validate a generated image. If your use has significant legal or brand risk, review the current terms and apply your own clearance process rather than relying on promotional phrasing.

Eligible registered nonprofits can apply for free Pro access, according to VistaCreate’s nonprofit program information. VistaCreate says the application review usually takes up to five business days; that is a published estimate, not a guaranteed decision time. Nonprofits should check the eligibility rules and application requirements before choosing a standard paid subscription.
How should you compare VistaCreate with alternatives?
Canva, Marq, and Visme are among the alternatives listed on G2’s VistaCreate alternatives page. That listing establishes that alternatives exist, not how they rank. A useful comparison for your own workflow should check:
Free tools Windows power users keep installed
One-click scans. No signup required.
- How useful the free tier is, plus paid entry price, billing cadence, trial, and seat limits.
- Whether template and stock libraries contain the styles and formats you actually need, and what each license permits.
- Available export formats and quality, including print workflows and restrictions.
- Brand tools, resizing, scheduling, and the effort needed to update recurring designs.
- Whether collaboration is simultaneous, who owns workspace content, and whether projects can be transferred.
- AI tool availability, usage quotas, output controls, and terms.
- Usability and accessibility, based on the same documented tasks in each product—not feature counts alone.
Who should choose VistaCreate?
VistaCreate is worth considering if you want a template-based tool and Starter’s free assets and core features match your output needs. Pro is a more plausible choice when its premium media, AI tools, resizing, expanded storage, or team seats solve recurring problems you actually have. Before committing, verify the checkout terms, confirm that the team workflow matches how your collaborators work, and check the license against the way you plan to use assets.
