Moz Pro is worth considering if you want keyword research, rank tracking, technical crawling and backlink analysis in one subscription. It is less compelling when you need the largest possible link database, extensive integrations or only one narrowly defined SEO task. The right choice depends on your monitored sites, keyword volume, crawl requirements and whether AI-search visibility is part of your workflow.
What Moz Pro includes
Moz positions Moz Pro as an SEO growth platform built around several connected workflows:
- Keyword Explorer and SERP analysis for discovering topics and evaluating search opportunities.
- Rank Tracker for monitoring keyword positions.
- Campaigns and Domain Overview for organizing progress around a site or URL.
- Site Crawl for finding technical issues.
- Backlink research and link-building insights.
- MozBar Premium, actionable SEO suggestions, and Moz’s Domain Authority, Page Authority and Brand Authority metrics.
- AI/GEO features shown on the pricing page, including AI Overviews by keyword, AI-visibility dashboards, tracked prompts, AI-model tracking and AI content briefs.
These feature descriptions come from Moz’s product presentation; they are not results from independent hands-on testing for this review. TechRadar also describes keyword research, site audits, rank tracking, link building and page-optimization guidance as the platform’s core capabilities (updated February 6, 2026).
How Campaigns work
Moz says a Campaign tracks a site or URL plus three competitors. It gathers data across up to four search engines for each tracked keyword. That structure suits an agency or in-house team that needs recurring visibility reporting rather than occasional one-off research.
#1 Best Overall
Before subscribing, map every domain, competitor set and search engine you actually need. A plan can look inexpensive until you add campaigns, keywords or crawl capacity.
Moz Pro pricing in 2026
TechRadar’s February 6, 2026 review lists these US starting prices. The annual figures are monthly equivalents, not the total annual invoice, and TechRadar says they reflect a 20% discount.
Rank #2
| Plan | Monthly billing | Annual-billing equivalent per month | Best fit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $49/month | $39/month | Small projects with modest tracking needs |
| Standard | $99/month | $79/month | Growing sites and regular SEO reporting |
| Medium | $179/month | $143/month | Higher keyword, site and crawl requirements |
| Large | $299/month | $239/month | Larger teams and portfolios |
| Enterprise | Contact sales | Contact sales | Organizations needing negotiated capacity |
Moz’s official pricing page says yearly payment discounts the base plan by 20%, permits cancellation or plan changes at any time, and offers a free trial. Prices, trial conditions and included allowances are volatile, so confirm the live checkout and account-billing screens before paying.
Add-on costs
Moz lists several quota increases, including:
- $10 per month for each additional Campaign.
- $15 per month for each additional 50,000 pages crawled.
- $20 per month for each additional 200 tracked keywords.
Other quota increases may also be available. Calculate the subscription plus the add-ons you would need; the headline tier price is not necessarily your final monthly cost.

Quotas and the plan-table caveat
The official pricing table visibly includes a tier with three tracked sites, 300 tracked keywords per month and 400,000 pages crawled per month, along with AI-visibility allowances. TechRadar describes the Standard tier’s crawl figures as weekly limits, while the official table uses different period wording. Because that distinction changes the practical value substantially, do not rely on a weekly-versus-monthly interpretation without checking the current Moz table.
AI allowances are plan-dependent. Visible tiers show 50 or 100 tracked prompts, tracking across GPT, Gemini, Google AI Mode and Perplexity, weekly tracking frequency and quotas for AI content briefs. Match each allowance to the exact plan in the live table rather than assuming that every tier includes the same coverage.
Who benefits most from Moz Pro?
Teams consolidating several SEO tools
Moz Pro makes the most sense when the same team needs keyword discovery, recurring rank reports, technical crawling and backlink analysis. One account can reduce the operational overhead of moving data between separate products, provided its coverage and limits fit your projects.
Agencies and consultants with repeatable reporting
Campaigns, competitor tracking and customizable reporting are useful when you report progress to multiple clients. Budget for a separate Campaign when each additional site or URL exceeds the included allowance.

Organizations exploring AI-search visibility
If your SEO process now includes monitoring AI Overviews or chatbot visibility, the listed prompt and model-tracking features may be relevant. Treat them as workflow capabilities, not proof that Moz improves visibility; the reviewed material contains no controlled performance test.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Who may find it a poor fit?
- Very small or occasional projects: a full subscription can be excessive if you only need infrequent keyword lookups.
- Heavy link-intelligence users: TechRadar characterizes Moz’s database as smaller than competitors’ databases. The practical impact depends on the markets and sites you research.
- Integration-heavy operations: TechRadar lists limited third-party integrations as a limitation.
- New SEO users seeking a minimal interface: TechRadar says some features can overwhelm beginners.
- Large portfolios with high crawl demand: model the included pages and add-on charges before choosing a tier.
Strengths reported by TechRadar
- User-friendly interface.
- Transparent, scalable pricing.
- Moz’s Domain Authority metrics.
- Customizable reporting.
- Spam-score detection.
Domain Authority, Page Authority and Brand Authority are Moz-branded metrics. They should not be presented as Google ranking scores or as measures that Google officially uses; the reviewed sources do not establish that stronger claim.
How to decide whether the subscription pays off
- List your assets: count every site or URL that needs a Campaign and include the three-competitor structure for each.
- Count tracked keywords: include location, device and search-engine variations that you report separately.
- Estimate crawl demand: compare your page inventory and crawl frequency with the official plan allowance, resolving the period wording at checkout.
- Price add-ons: add Campaign, keyword and page-crawl increases before comparing Moz with separate tools.
- Audit your reporting needs: verify that the available reports and integrations fit your clients, dashboards and exports.
- Decide whether AI tracking is essential: select a tier based on its actual prompt, model and content-brief allowances, not on the existence of an AI label.
- Use the trial carefully: test your real domains, keyword sets and reporting routine during Moz’s current trial period, then confirm the renewal amount and billing cadence.
Moz Pro versus alternatives
The reviewed sources do not provide a current, controlled head-to-head test that can name Moz Pro the overall winner over a specific rival. A fair comparison should use the same checks for every product:
| Comparison area | Question to answer |
|---|---|
| Data coverage | How much keyword, backlink and SERP data is available in your target markets? |
| Scale | How many sites, keywords and pages can you monitor at the needed frequency? |
| Technical SEO | Does the crawl allowance match your site size and schedule? |
| Reporting | Can you customize, export and share the reports your stakeholders require? |
| Integrations | Does the product connect to the systems your team already uses? |
| Total cost | What is the recurring bill after annual terms and quota add-ons? |
Final assessment
Moz Pro is a credible all-in-one option for teams that will actively use its keyword, rank, crawl, backlink and reporting workflows. Its transparent tier structure and Moz metrics are useful advantages, while database coverage, integrations, beginner complexity and quota economics deserve scrutiny. Buy it when the combined workflow saves more time and money than separate tools; skip it when your needs are narrow or your required scale makes add-ons dominate the bill.
