Typical workflow
- Open the target page and let its images finish loading.
- Open Imageye from the browser toolbar.
- Use width, height, type or URL filters to remove thumbnails, icons and tracking graphics.

When it finds more than Imageye
- Nested iframes: useful for embedded galleries or players, subject to cross-origin restrictions.
- Links: can reveal a large file linked from a small preview.
- Background scripts and CSS: may expose assets not rendered as ordinary images.
- Gallery review: lets you remove duplicates and irrelevant files before writing to disk.
Website Image Downloader: lazy feeds and controlled collection
Choose Website Image Downloader in Firefox for feeds that load images only after scrolling or interaction. It supports automatic collection of newly loaded images, viewport-only collection, favorites, sorting and filtering, and subfolder organization. A reliable lazy-load procedure
- Open the page and install or enable the extension.
- Choose automatic collection if you want newly inserted images recorded while you browse; choose viewport-only when you want just what appears on screen.
- Scroll in measured sections, pausing for each batch to load.
- Use favorites and filters to remove placeholders, avatars and duplicate sizes.
- Save into subfolders by page, date or subject.
If a site loads content only after a click, perform that click before scrolling. If it requires a signed request that the page never exposes, no extension can reliably retrieve the protected original.
SingleFile: save the page, not just its pictures
SingleFile is the better answer when your goal is an offline reference copy. Its project description says it saves an entire web page, including images, stylesheets, fonts, frames and other resources, as one HTML file with one click. It supports Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari and can save to Google Drive, Amazon S3 or WebDAV.
Use SingleFile for an article, product page or visual reference that must reopen with its layout intact. Use an image downloader when you need independent PNG, JPEG or WebP files for editing, cataloging or a separate asset library. A single-file archive is not automatically a license to republish the embedded images.

How to get full-resolution files
Start with the page’s own controls
Look for a download button, an image viewer or a “เปิด original” style link. Open the image in a new tab and inspect its dimensions. A 320-pixel thumbnail cannot become a genuine 2,000-pixel original through conversion.
Filter out derivatives
Use minimum width and height filters, then compare filenames and URLs. CDN patterns such as width parameters may indicate a larger variant, but changing a URL is site-specific and can fail or violate access rules. Prefer the original-URL feature supplied by the extension or the site’s own download control.
Trigger lazy loading
Scroll until the complete gallery has loaded before scanning. Keep the tab open while collecting; closing it can stop observers and network requests. On very long pages, collect in batches and record the section or folder name.

The extension finds only thumbnails
Increase minimum dimensions, open the image viewer, scroll to load larger variants and use original-URL discovery. If the source never exposes a larger file, the thumbnail is all that is available.

Some images are missing
Check whether they are in an iframe, CSS background or script; use Download All Images in Firefox, then reload after disabling an overly aggressive content blocker. Cross-origin restrictions and access controls can still prevent discovery.
Downloads have duplicate names
Save in batches or subfolders, preserve URL-based names where offered, and keep the extension’s gallery selection rather than downloading every size variant.
The page keeps changing while scanning
Pause animations, wait for network activity to settle, and collect a lazy feed in smaller scroll batches. For a stable visual record, save a SingleFile archive or use a screenshot API.
