The current Jade is a capable-looking 1080p and mainstream 1440p gaming PC, but at £1,639.99 it is difficult to call good value without a same-day comparison against equivalent prebuilts or a custom build. This assessment applies to the RTX 5060 Ti 16GB listing, not older Jade PCs with different hardware. Overclockers UK listed SKU FS-1DJ-EP at that price, with free delivery and in-stock status, when checked on 28 September 2026; price and availability can change.
Which Jade is this review about?
The name has covered several configurations. The current Overclockers UK product page calls the PC “OcUK Gaming Jade – GeForce RTX 5060 Ti Pre-Built Gaming PC”; it retains Refract Jade imagery and the SKU FS-1DJ-EP. That SKU does not mean the components have stayed the same over time. The retailer’s current listing, checked on 28 September 2026, gives this specification:
| Component | Current listed specification |
|---|---|
| Processor | AMD Ryzen 7 7700 |
| Graphics | NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti, 16GB |
| Motherboard | AMD B840 Wi-Fi, DDR5, Micro-ATX; manufacturer and exact model not stated by Overclockers UK |
| Memory | 32GB, 2 × 16GB DDR5-5600 AMD EXPO, dual-channel |
| Storage | 1TB M.2 SSD; exact drive model not stated |
| Power supply | 750W, 80 Plus Gold; exact model not stated |
| Case | Kolink Citadel Mesh Micro-ATX, black |
| Wireless | Wi-Fi integrated through the motherboard |
| Operating system | Windows 11 Home 64-bit |
| Warranty | Three years, parts and labour; UK mainland collection and return stated |
| Price and availability | £1,639.99 including VAT; free delivery and in stock when checked on 28 September 2026 |
The official listing describes the machine as hand-built and tested, but its page does not identify the specific motherboard, SSD, PSU, or graphics-card partner model. Those details matter for expansion, cooling, noise and component-level comparisons. Ask for the exact parts in the delivered machine if you need certainty about them.
Older reviews are useful only when their tested configuration is kept in view:

The older independent reviews are not performance tests of the RTX 5060 Ti model. WePC’s comments about the older sample’s stock cooler and front ventilation, for example, cannot be assigned to the current listing without inspecting and measuring that version. The retailer explains the Refract range and its positioning in its Refract overview.
Is the specification right for gaming?
1080p: the clearest fit
The RTX 5060 Ti 16GB is the part that will determine most gaming performance. Paired with the Ryzen 7 7700, it makes the listed configuration a plausible choice for high-refresh 1080p play, including esports and many demanding games. Actual frame rates depend on the game, settings, drivers and updates; there are no independent test results here to establish specific performance for this current PC.
1440p: viable, but settings matter
The GPU also makes 1440p a reasonable target, particularly if you are willing to tune settings or use a game’s upscaling option. “1440p capable” is not a promise of maximum settings, high refresh rates, or equally smooth performance in every new release. For a buyer who expects high or ultra settings in demanding games, independent results for the exact configuration would be important.

- Ultra-Fast Boot & File Transfers: 1TB NVMe M.2 SSD (up to 3200MB/s read) and 16GB DDR4 RAM loads OS, apps, and game maps in seconds. No more waiting – jump straight into action. Extra drive bays available for easy future upgrades.
- Next-Gen Connectivity – WiFi 6 & More: Built-in WiFi 6 delivers low-latency, high-speed wireless gaming and streaming. Gigabit Ethernet, USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, and HDMI 2.1 + DisplayPort ensure seamless connections to monitors, VR headsets, and peripherals.
- Built for Gaming, Streaming & Productivity: Whether you're playing competitive esports, editing videos, attending online classes, working from home, or streaming content, this desktop provides dependable speed and smooth performance for everyday computing and demanding workloads.
4K, ray tracing and generated frames
This is a mid-range gaming configuration, not one to buy on the assumption of reliable 4K ultra performance or uncompromised heavy ray tracing. Performance with ray tracing varies especially widely by title. DLSS upscaling or frame generation may improve perceived smoothness in supported games, but results depend on the game and mode; generated frames are not a substitute for a consistently high base frame rate.
Retailer performance figures are estimates, not review benchmarks
Overclockers UK publishes these indicative figures for the listed system. They are retailer-supplied claims, not independent measurements, and its page says results vary with drivers, game updates, settings, mods and background processes.
| Game | Retailer’s 1080p figure | Retailer’s 1440p figure |
|---|---|---|
| PUBG | 190+ FPS | 110+ FPS |
| Forza Horizon 5 | 130+ FPS | 90+ FPS |
| Call of Duty: Warzone II | 115+ FPS | 65+ FPS |
The listing does not provide enough benchmark detail to make these figures directly comparable with another reviewer’s results: scenes, presets, drivers and patches can differ. It also does not establish 1% lows, frame-time consistency, temperatures, noise or power draw. A thorough independent test of this exact generation would report those alongside average FPS at 1080p and 1440p, with settings and any upscaling or frame generation clearly stated.

What do the components mean in everyday use?
CPU and memory
The Ryzen 7 7700 is a strong general-purpose processor and is paired with 32GB of dual-channel memory. That capacity is well suited to gaming alongside ordinary multitasking, streaming software and a browser with many tabs. The DDR5 kit is advertised at 5600MT/s with AMD EXPO; the listing does not confirm that EXPO is enabled in the delivered PC, so check the configured memory speed in Windows or firmware.
Storage
A 1TB SSD is a useful starting capacity, but a large modern game library can consume it quickly. The advertised capacity is not all available for games and files after formatting and Windows system or recovery data. Overclockers UK identifies an M.2 SSD but does not name the drive model or state how many M.2 slots remain free.

Streaming and creative workloads
The Ryzen 7 7700, 32GB of RAM and current-generation graphics hardware make gaming while running typical streaming software a plausible use case. The retailer calls the Jade suitable for budding streamers, but there are no measured game-plus-stream results here. Check the exact GPU’s encoder support and the settings required by your streaming service; webcam, capture-card and audio needs are separate from the PC specification. For video editing, 3D work or large recordings, the unconfirmed drive expansion options and 1TB starting capacity deserve attention.

Build quality, cooling and noise: what is established?
The listed case is a Kolink Citadel Mesh Micro-ATX, and Overclockers UK says the PC is built and tested before dispatch. The listing does not establish fan count or placement, measured airflow, cable-management quality, GPU support, temperatures, noise levels, or whether any component throttles under sustained load. Those are inspection and test questions, not safe conclusions from the component list.
WePC found the stock Intel cooler sufficient for its older i5-12400F sample but noted it could struggle under sustained full load, and criticised that sample’s front ventilation. Its machine used a Kolink Citadel Glass SE case, not the current listing’s Citadel Mesh. These observations provide historical context, not evidence about the present RTX 5060 Ti system.

The confirmed platform is an AMD B840 Wi-Fi DDR5 Micro-ATX motherboard, a Ryzen 7 7700, 32GB of RAM, a 1TB M.2 SSD and a 750W Gold PSU. The listing does not give the board’s exact model, free-slot count, memory layout beyond the supplied 2 × 16GB kit, GPU clearance, or connector inventory. It therefore cannot establish how many drives can be added, whether a future graphics card will physically fit, or which later CPUs the board will support.

- Before adding memory: check how many DIMM slots the actual board has and whether the supplied modules occupy them. Confirm the current and supported memory speeds.
- Before adding storage: identify free M.2 and SATA connections and whether reaching them requires removing another component.
- Before replacing the graphics card: check case clearance, power connectors and the specific replacement card’s requirements; 750W alone does not prove compatibility.
- Before replacing the CPU: verify the exact motherboard model and its current BIOS CPU-support list. A chipset family alone does not confirm support for a particular future processor.
- Before making changes: review Overclockers UK’s warranty wording. The listing excludes unauthorised servicing and components not originally supplied, so do not assume every modification is automatically covered.
Price, warranty and ownership trade-offs
At the checked cash price of £1,639.99 including VAT, the Jade asks buyers to value a ready-built PC, installed Windows, integrated Wi-Fi, delivery and warranty support alongside the hardware. The available evidence does not include a same-date, like-for-like custom-build total or competing prebuilt comparison, so it is not enough to call this either good or poor value per pound. Compare equivalent graphics, memory, storage, Windows licensing and warranty before deciding.
The retailer lists a three-year parts-and-labour warranty and says collection and return costs are covered for UK mainland customers. Its warranty exclusions include components not originally supplied, relocation or transportation, unauthorised servicing, unreasonable or excessive use, accidental or malicious damage, and environmental conditions. The page also states statutory rights are unaffected. A retailer warranty is not a replacement for those statutory rights or any separate manufacturer warranty on an individual component.
Overclockers UK states a 30-day return and refund period, subject to exclusions and product restrictions; check the terms applying to the order before purchase. The product page also advertises finance. Treat the cash price as the comparison point and read the repayment terms carefully: the displayed Buy Now Pay Later example carries a representative APR of 24.89% if not settled under its stated terms, which can raise the total cost substantially.
The standalone PC listing specifies Windows 11 Home, but it does not establish that a keyboard, mouse or monitor is included. A separate full-system bundle page lists an Asus TUF Gaming K1 keyboard, Asus TUF Gaming M3 mouse and Asus TUF Gaming VG249Q1A 24-inch 165Hz monitor, but that is a different, older i5-12400F/RTX 3060 configuration and was shown out of stock when crawled. It is not a like-for-like current Jade deal: check the bundle listing for its own details.

The current product page limits the listing to the UK and Ireland. Buyers elsewhere should not assume the same delivery, warranty or return terms apply. Current price, stock and promotional inclusions—including the listing’s stated two months of Xbox Game Pass Essential—are volatile; check the current product page before ordering.
Who should buy it?
- Consider it if you want a ready-to-use desktop for high-refresh 1080p or settings-adjusted 1440p gaming, value a three-year parts-and-labour warranty, and prefer not to assemble a PC.
- Compare alternatives first if performance per pound is your priority. At this price, an equivalent prebuilt or custom build could change the value verdict, but no verified same-day comparison is available here.
- Look elsewhere if your main goal is 4K ultra gaming, demanding ray tracing, professional workloads needing substantially more storage or workstation expansion, or complete control over every component model.
For broader retailer context on prebuilt systems and warranty positioning, see Overclockers UK’s discussion of prebuilt PCs; it is retailer commentary, not an independent comparison.
