That is the catalog’s count, not a Xiaomi-confirmed inventory, and this page cannot establish that the catalog’s current downloads are original, complete, watermark-free, or unchanged. Check the image dimensions and file type on the download page before saving.
Other third-party pages describe different sets: Techtrickz reports a three-image ZIP, DroidViews describes six wallpapers shared for the Redmi Note 8 and Note 8 Pro, and YTECHB reports 25 images for the two phones combined. These may be subsets or mixed collections rather than identical archives. None of those counts establishes one definitive complete set.

Choose the right resolution
Xiaomi specifies a 6.53-inch FHD+ display with a resolution of 2340 × 1080 pixels. For portrait use, that is written as 1080 × 2340 px, with an approximate 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 8 Pro specifications establish the display resolution; third-party wallpaper pages commonly describe the images at the portrait dimensions.

1080 × 2340 is FHD+-class, not 4K. A larger image with the same proportions can also work, but MIUI may crop or rescale it. A smaller file may look soft when enlarged. For another phone, match that phone’s screen proportions where possible rather than stretching the image.
Download and check the image files
- Open the collection page and choose an individual image or its archive option, if offered. The available file, count, and download behavior can change; they are not independently confirmed here.
- Check the downloaded item’s extension. A static wallpaper should be an image such as .jpg, .jpeg, or .png, or a .zip archive containing image files—not an APK, executable, browser extension, or installer.
- If you downloaded a ZIP, open it in your file manager and extract it to a folder such as Pictures or Downloads. On a computer, use the operating system’s built-in archive extraction option.
- Open an extracted image and inspect its pixel dimensions and appearance. Avoid screenshots or tiny previews if you want the sharpest result, and do not assume a “4K” label means the file is genuine 4K.
If a download fails, try an individual image rather than the ZIP, check the Downloads folder, or use a different browser. An incomplete ZIP may need to be downloaded again. Do not grant notification permission or install software just to obtain an ordinary wallpaper image.

Set a downloaded wallpaper on the Redmi Note 8 Pro
Use Settings
- Open Settings and go to Wallpaper. The precise menu wording or location can vary by MIUI build.
- Choose the downloaded image or the album containing it.
- Tap Apply, then choose Set as Lock screen, Set as Home screen, or Set both, if those options appear.
Xiaomi documents the Settings wallpaper route in its wallpaper support instructions.
Use Themes or Gallery
In Themes, open Wallpapers, select an image, tap Apply, and choose the screen destination. Xiaomi’s Themes support instructions describe this route. For a local file, you can also open it in Gallery and look for Set as wallpaper in the options or share menu; the label varies by Gallery version.

Fix cropping, zoom, or replacement
- The image looks too zoomed: Adjust the crop or pinch inward before applying if MIUI offers that control. Try applying through Settings if the Gallery shortcut produces a poor crop.
- The image looks stretched: Do not stretch it to fill. Crop a copy to the target phone’s aspect ratio instead. Keep important details clear of the Redmi’s top notch and the areas covered by icons or navigation controls.
- The lock-screen image changes later: Wallpaper Carousel is a rotating lock-screen feature, separate from a static image download. Check whether it is enabled and switch to a static lock-screen wallpaper if you want the image to remain fixed. Xiaomi describes Carousel’s rotating content and local-image options in its MIUI privacy documentation.
- The image will not open or apply: Try another image viewer or re-download the file. If Gallery or Themes cannot access it, check that the app has permission to access photos or files.
Static images, Wallpaper Carousel, and live wallpapers
The collection linked above is described as JPEG wallpaper files: static images that you apply manually. Wallpaper Carousel instead rotates lock-screen content and can draw on online content or local images; its availability and behavior can depend on software and region. Xiaomi’s Carousel app listing describes dynamic lock-screen use and MIUI compatibility, but that feature is not the source of the static image collection.
Live and “Super” wallpapers are separate animated or interactive features, not ordinary JPEGs. The cited collection listings do not establish that such packages are included or supported on every Redmi Note 8 Pro software build.

Use the wallpapers on another phone
On Android, save the image and open it in Gallery or Google Photos, then choose the wallpaper option. On iPhone, save it to Photos and use the share or wallpaper customization controls. Because other phones may have different aspect ratios, notches, or camera cutouts, expect to reposition or crop the image.
