Yes. In Brazil, Mercado Livre’s current Max offer gives Meli+ Total customers 30% off; the offer page also shows a 15% discount for customers without that higher Meli+ benefit. Using the displayed R$29.90 monthly reference price, those discounts work out to about R$20.93 and R$25.42 per month, respectively. Treat those as calculated equivalents, not guaranteed account prices: confirm the plan and recurring amount shown before paying. Meli+ Mega is a separate option that lists Max among its bundled streaming services.
What Max costs through Mercado Livre
Mercado Livre’s current Max offer page displays a R$29.90 monthly reference price, a 15% discount, and a 30% discount for Meli+ Total customers. The approximate amounts below are calculated from that reference price; the price shown for your selected option at checkout is the one to rely on.

The Mercado Livre offer page does not establish that every Max tier is available at these prices. Check the selected Max plan, discount line and monthly renewal amount on the purchase screen. Mercado Livre says the final price depends on the options selected and is shown before payment: Meli+ benefits and pricing.
Which Meli+ plan qualifies?
Meli+ Total: the stated 30% Max discount
The Max offer page specifically names Meli+ Total for the 30% discount. It does not establish that Meli+ Essencial receives the same benefit. Sign in to the Mercado Livre account you intend to use and check the offer before subscribing or changing plans.

Meli+ Mega: streaming in a bundle
Mercado Livre’s Meli+ page lists Disney+, Netflix, HBO Max and Apple TV among Mega’s included services. That is a bundle inclusion, not the same offer as a standalone Max subscription discounted by 30%. Compare Mega’s account-specific monthly price with the prices of the services your household would actually use, and check which service tiers are included.
Essencial and plan changes
The current offer information does not provide a complete plan-change matrix. Moving from Total to Essencial may remove the higher Max discount; moving to Mega may mean using bundled access instead of a separate discounted subscription. Before confirming an upgrade, downgrade or other change, review the benefits, Max access and new recurring amount shown in your account.
Is the discount temporary?
The current Mercado Livre page describes the 30% Total benefit as the applicable discounted price, rather than a short introductory period. That does not guarantee an unchanging price: Mercado Livre can revise its prices or eligibility conditions, so the signed-in offer and checkout terms control.

Do not confuse today’s offer with the separate 50%-off-for-four-months “Promoção Especial MAX” for qualifying Meli+ Total customers. Its campaign terms limited it to July 10 through September 21 or September 28, 2025, depending on the version; it is not evidence of the current discount. How to subscribe and activate Max through Mercado Livre
- Sign in to the Mercado Livre account that should own the subscription, then open the Max offer page.
- Check the account’s Meli+ plan and confirm whether the 30% Total discount appears. Select an available Max option and review its tier, monthly recurring price and payment method.
- Complete the purchase only after confirming the displayed amount and billing terms.
- Open the Max app and choose the option to connect or identify your provider. Select Mercado Livre, then follow the sign-in and account-linking prompts. Max explains provider activation at its Mercado Livre activation help page.
Mercado Livre’s pages may still call the service “HBO Max,” while Max’s own help center uses “Max.” Follow the provider label shown in the activation flow.
Already have a Max account or subscription?
Link the account you want to keep
Mercado Livre says you can use an existing Max account and will be shown where to link it during activation. Its email address does not have to match the email on your Mercado Livre account. Follow the linking prompt rather than automatically creating another Max account.

Check existing billing to prevent duplicate charges
Having an existing Max login is different from having an active paid subscription. If Max is currently billed directly or through a mobile, internet, TV, app-store or other provider, identify that billing source and check whether the old subscription must be canceled before starting Mercado Livre billing. Mercado Livre warns that keeping another paid subscription can result in duplicate charges. Max’s instructions for identifying a billing provider are at Max provider billing help.

Is Meli+ worth getting just for the Max discount?
Compare the cost of the Meli+ plan itself with the savings on the Max tier you would actually choose. The discount alone does not show that Meli+ costs less overall, and the exact Total price should be checked in your account. Total is more compelling if you already value its shopping, shipping or other benefits. Mega may suit a household that would otherwise pay separately for several included streaming services; it can be poor value if you only want Max or need a premium tier that the bundle does not clearly identify.
A direct Max subscription may be simpler if you want to manage billing with Max or need a tier not clearly offered through Mercado Livre. Max’s direct prices are listed above; compare them with the specific tier and final price on Mercado Livre before choosing.

Mercado Livre says its Max subscription renews automatically each month and can be canceled at any time. If Mercado Livre bills you, manage cancellation through Mercado Livre or Mercado Pago rather than assuming Max’s billing settings control that charge.

The higher discount is associated with Meli+ Total eligibility. If you plan to cancel or downgrade Meli+, read the account’s current notice to see how it affects the Max price and access. Older promotion terms explicitly tied an exclusive discount to keeping Total, but those terms were for the expired 2025 campaign and do not establish every detail of the current offer.
If the discount or activation does not work
The 30% discount is missing
- Make sure you are signed in to the intended Mercado Livre account and that it shows Meli+ Total, not another plan.
- Open the Max offer from within that account and check whether the selected tier qualifies.
- Review the discount line and final recurring price before paying. If the expected price is absent, do not complete the purchase; contact Mercado Livre support with a screenshot of the offer.
Max cannot find the Mercado Livre subscription
- Confirm the purchase completed in the Mercado Livre account you used to sign up.
- In Max, use the provider-connection flow and choose Mercado Livre; use the existing Max account you intend to link.
- If access still does not activate, check the provider activation instructions or contact support from the account responsible for billing.
You see two Max charges
Check each charge’s billing provider and cancellation status. Cancel the old subscription with the provider that bills it, and keep the Mercado Livre subscription only if that is the one you intend to use. Max provides billing-provider guidance at its provider identification page.
