The OnePlus 13s is no longer an unreleased phone: OnePlus launched it in India on June 5, 2025. The final model largely delivered on the headline leak claims, including a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, a compact 6.32-inch 120Hz LTPO display, a 5,850mAh battery, 80W wired charging and two 50MP rear cameras. It also has a notable omission: there is no ultrawide camera. The confirmed launch and price information below is India-specific; official U.S. availability is not established by the cited sources.
What the OnePlus 13s leaks got right
Prelaunch reports pointed to a compact flagship with Snapdragon 8 Elite performance, a large silicon-carbon battery, 80W charging, a 50MP dual-camera setup and a 32MP selfie camera. Those central hardware claims match the product OnePlus ultimately announced. The phone also replaced the familiar alert slider, as anticipated, but with a programmable Plus Key rather than another three-position switch.
Some details circulated as third-party rumors before launch; others were confirmed in OnePlus teasers. They should not be treated as equally authoritative. The finished specifications and OnePlus’s launch announcement are the firmer reference points. OnePlus announced the phone in India on June 5, 2025. The 13s is closely related to the China-market OnePlus 13T, but the names alone do not establish that the two are identical in software, network support, accessories or availability. Buyers considering an imported 13T should verify those details for their country and carrier. PhoneArena launch report

Compact design, display and performance
A small flagship with a large battery
The 6.32-inch screen makes the 13s smaller than a typical large-screen flagship, while its 185g weight and 71.7mm width are relevant if pocketability and one-handed handling matter. The LTPO AMOLED panel reaches 120Hz and has a resolution of 2640 × 1216 pixels. OnePlus says the internal layout, including an S-structure and sandwich mainboard arrangement, helps accommodate the battery and cooling system within the compact body.
Snapdragon 8 Elite and cooling claims
The Snapdragon 8 Elite is the confirmed processor; it is not the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. OnePlus attributes 45% higher CPU performance, 40% higher Adreno GPU performance and 27% greater efficiency to the chipset generation. Those are manufacturer comparisons, not independent test results for every workload.
OnePlus also lists a 4,400mm² vapor chamber and says its cooling layer is 65% more efficient than a cover without that layer. That percentage is a OnePlus laboratory claim, not a general measure of sustained gaming performance. Peak chip specifications alone do not establish how long the phone maintains high performance in a particular game or in warm conditions. OnePlus product details
Wi-Fi and mobile-network claims
The phone lists Wi-Fi 7 and 5G, while OnePlus also promotes its G1 Wi-Fi chipset, an 11-antenna system and 5.5G support in India. A supported standard or antenna design is not a guarantee of faster service: results depend on the carrier, local network deployment, spectrum and firmware. The 5.5G claim is especially tied to compatible Indian networks.
Camera setup: two rear cameras, no ultrawide
The rear array consists of a 50MP main camera and a 50MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom. The 32MP front camera has autofocus. Despite the two high-resolution rear sensors, the phone has no ultrawide camera, so it cannot provide a dedicated wide-angle field of view for landscapes, interiors or group shots.
Gadgets 360’s review coverage praises the primary camera but notes weaknesses in the telephoto camera and the missing ultrawide. That makes the main camera the safer reason to consider the system; a 50MP label by itself does not guarantee equally strong results from both rear cameras. Gadgets 360 review and specifications

Battery life and 80W charging
The 5,850mAh battery is unusually large for a phone in this size class, and the wired charging rating is 80W SUPERVOOC. OnePlus’s product page publishes test-specific maximums of up to 20 hours of video playback, seven hours of gaming, 10 hours of video calls, 6.5 hours of video capture and 16 hours of social-media use. These are company figures under its test conditions, not a promise of those runtimes in ordinary mixed use. OnePlus also describes charging as enough to gain a day’s power in roughly half an hour; treat that as a company claim, since actual charging depends on conditions and use.

Plus Key and AI features
What replaces the alert slider
The Plus Key is programmable and can provide one-press access to functions such as sound modes, Do Not Disturb, AI tools or camera-related actions. It trades the alert slider’s dedicated, tactile three-position control for broader customization. That is a meaningful change for people who rely on the slider, not just a new name for the same switch.
AI features and availability
OnePlus lists AI Plus Mind, AI Search, AI VoiceScribe, AI Translation, AI Call Assistant, Gemini integration, AI Reframe, AI Detail Boost, AI Unblur, AI Reflection Eraser and AI Notes. Access can depend on country, language and software version; OnePlus notes that some features may arrive by OTA update or vary by market. The list should not be read as a guarantee that every function is available to every buyer at launch.

India price and availability
Reported launch prices in India were ₹54,999 for 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, and ₹59,999 for 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. These are launch-price figures, not a current universal price or a guarantee that bank offers are included. PhoneArena launch pricing · OnePlus Community launch-price post
Gadgets 360 showed a marketplace price of approximately ₹54,920 or higher on August 18, 2026, varying by variant and retailer. This is a dated market snapshot, not a fixed OnePlus price. Gadgets 360 price page

Buyers outside India should confirm regional support and warranty terms with the seller and carrier before purchasing.
Who should consider the OnePlus 13s?
It may suit you if
- You want a relatively compact phone with a flagship-class processor.
- You prioritize battery capacity and fast wired charging in a smaller handset.
- You mainly use a primary camera and value a 2x telephoto more than an ultrawide lens.
- You want 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage in this size category.
- You would use the Plus Key’s customization rather than relying on the alert slider.
Look elsewhere if
- You need an ultrawide camera or consistently strong results across several rear-camera perspectives.
- You want the familiar OnePlus alert slider, wireless charging, or a higher water-resistance rating than IP65.
- You need official U.S. purchase and warranty support, or assured compatibility with a specific carrier.
- You depend on a particular AI feature or language and need it guaranteed in your region.
- You are deciding on value in 2026: compare the live price with newer options rather than treating the 2025 launch price as current.
The 13s is a real, launched India-market compact flagship, not a phone still waiting for its leak to be confirmed. Its strongest case is the combination of compact dimensions, top-tier silicon and a large battery; the absent ultrawide, telephoto review criticism and regional uncertainty are the trade-offs to weigh.
