CPU, GPU and gaming performance
The Kryo 670 CPU runs at up to 2.4 GHz, and the 6 nm process was designed to balance performance and efficiency. Qualcomm claims up to 40% higher CPU performance and up to 40% faster graphics rendering than the Snapdragon 768G. Those are Qualcomm’s internal, previous-generation comparisons, not guaranteed scores for every phone. Qualcomm launch claims
Adreno 642L graphics and Snapdragon Elite Gaming features such as variable-rate shading and Game Quick Touch make the chip suitable for mainstream games and many demanding titles at sensible settings. A 144 Hz panel also does not mean games will render at 144 frames per second.
Actual results vary with:
- Cooling and chassis design, including sustained heat dissipation.
- RAM capacity, storage speed and game optimization.
- Screen resolution, refresh-rate settings and performance modes.
- Battery temperature, charge level and firmware tuning.
A thin, poorly cooled phone can throttle sooner than a thicker model using the same SoC. There is no single universal Snapdragon 778G benchmark score; results depend on the exact handset, software, temperature and test method.

5G, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth
The X53 modem supports mmWave and Sub-6 GHz 5G, standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) operation, FDD and TDD, Dynamic Spectrum Sharing and global multimode cellular standards. Qualcomm lists up to 400 MHz mmWave bandwidth with 2×2 MIMO and up to 100 MHz Sub-6 GHz bandwidth with 4×4 MIMO, plus a theoretical peak downlink of 3.7 Gbps.
That figure is a platform maximum, not a normal speed test. Real throughput depends on the phone’s RF hardware, supported bands, carrier aggregation, signal, network load and local deployment. Verify the exact regional model, carrier certification, firmware, SIM and plan before buying; “Snapdragon 778G” alone does not guarantee compatibility with every 5G network.
FastConnect 6700 enables Wi-Fi 6E, Wi-Fi 6 and 2.4, 5 and 6 GHz operation, with a stated peak of up to 2.9 Gbps. Wi-Fi 6E requires a compatible router, regional 6 GHz authorization and a handset implementation that enables it. Bluetooth 5.2, dual Bluetooth antennas, LE Audio-related features, aptX and Snapdragon Sound capabilities are likewise dependent on both phone and accessory support.
Camera and video capabilities
The Spectra 570L triple ISP can process three cameras concurrently and supports advanced capture modes:
Rank #2
- Up to three 22 MP cameras at 30 fps with zero shutter lag.
- Up to 36 MP plus 22 MP dual-camera capture at 30 fps.
- Up to 64 MP single-camera capture at 30 fps with zero shutter lag.
- Platform support for photos up to 200 MP.
- 4K HDR video, HDR10+, HDR10 and HLG.
- 10-bit photo and video capture, staggered HDR and 720p/240-fps slow motion.
These capabilities do not determine image quality. Sensor size, lenses, optical stabilization, autofocus hardware, camera software, night processing and manufacturer firmware usually matter more than the advertised megapixel ceiling. A well-tuned 50 MP camera can outperform a poorly implemented 200 MP system.

Display and multimedia
The platform supports FHD+ displays at up to 144 Hz, external 4K output at 60 Hz, 10-bit color, Rec. 2020 and HDR10/HDR10+. Brightness, calibration, adaptive refresh behavior, HDR certification and touch quality remain handset-level decisions.
AI hardware
Qualcomm’s sixth-generation AI Engine combines the Hexagon 770 and a second-generation Sensing Hub, with a claimed performance of up to 12 TOPS for tasks such as photography, voice processing, audio and contextual awareness. TOPS is a vendor platform metric, not a direct measure of general phone speed or modern generative-AI performance.
Charging and battery life
Quick Charge 4+ is supported, but the phone maker controls the charger, wattage, thermal limits and charging protocol. Qualcomm cites up to a 50% charge in 15 minutes in an internal test using a 2,750 mAh battery, a 40°C thermal limit and specific charging hardware; actual results vary by device design. Test qualification in Qualcomm’s product brief
A 6 nm process can aid efficiency, but battery life also depends on battery capacity and age, screen brightness and refresh rate, signal strength, 5G use, background apps, thermals and operating-system tuning.
