The Xiaomi Smart Band 10 is a lightweight fitness band with a 1.72-inch AMOLED display, health and workout tracking, 5ATM water resistance and a claimed battery life of up to 21 days. Its biggest limitation is equally important: it has no built-in GPS, so route and distance tracking rely on your phone. NFC is available only on some regional versions. Marketplace prices observed on August 18, 2026 ranged from about $51.50 to $51.99 in the US, while launch-era pricing was higher and varied by country.
It is a strong choice for inexpensive daily activity tracking, notifications and long battery life—not a replacement for a GPS sports watch or full smartwatch.

Price and availability
There is no single worldwide Smart Band 10 price. On pages observed August 18, 2026, Smartprix showed a US marketplace price of $51.50 and Notebookcheck showed $51.99 from Amazon. TechRadar’s launch-era table listed $73.99 in the US, £39.99 in the UK and AU$133 in Australia. These are dated signals affected by retailer, promotion, import route, stock and edition—not a guaranteed current MSRP.

US buyers should treat marketplace listings as possible imports. Check seller warranty, returns, model region, charger packaging, firmware and payment compatibility before ordering. Xiaomi’s example listing is available through Walmart, but listing details can change.
Standard, NFC, Ceramic and Glimmer editions
Standard edition
The standard band uses an aluminum-alloy frame and TPU strap. Xiaomi’s UAE page lists Midnight Black, Glacier Silver and Mystic Rose, a 15.95g body and support for 135–210mm wrists.
Ceramic Edition
The Ceramic Edition has a ceramic frame, fluororubber strap, Pearl White finish, 23.05g weight and a slightly larger body. Its premium material changes appearance and feel more than the core tracking functions. TechRadar reported the tested Ceramic clasp coming undone, so check security before exercise.
Glimmer Edition
The Glimmer Edition uses an aluminum-alloy frame with a stainless-steel and glass-crystal strap construction. Xiaomi lists Glimmer Gold, 16.25g without strap and a narrower 135–180mm wrist range.

NFC versions
NFC is not universal. Xiaomi’s Taiwan site lists a separate Smart Band 10 NFC model, confirming that regional versions differ: Taiwan specifications. Before buying, confirm the SKU, that “NFC” is explicitly stated, local payment-service support, account region and firmware compatibility. An imported NFC band may still fail to support payments in your country.

Display and design
The 1.72-inch AMOLED panel is larger and more symmetrical than the Band 9’s display. Xiaomi advertises a 1,500-nit high-brightness mode and automatic brightness; Notebookcheck measured approximately 980 nits under its own conditions. Both figures can be accurate because brightness mode, ambient light, equipment and methodology differ.
Always-on display is supported. Notebookcheck also detected 60Hz PWM flicker at some brightness levels; people who are sensitive to flicker may experience eyestrain or headaches, although this is not a universal effect. The standard body is exceptionally light, while the Ceramic model is heavier and slightly larger.
Fitness and health tracking
The band tracks heart rate, blood oxygen, steps, calories, activity time, sleep, stress and a vitality score. Xiaomi and independent reviews report more than 150 sports modes, automatic recognition for selected activities and swimming metrics including stroke style, laps, strokes, SWOLF and average speed. Training effect, training load and recovery-time estimates are also available.

Fit, skin contact, movement, physiology and activity type all affect readings. These are wellness estimates, not medical measurements; never use a SpO₂ result to make an urgent medical decision.
Battery life and charging
Xiaomi rates the 233mAh battery for up to 21 days in typical use and says magnetic charging takes about an hour. Real results depend heavily on settings. TechRadar achieved about 18–19 days with more exercise than average. Notebookcheck recorded roughly six days with always-on display and demanding monitoring, or about nine days with always-on display disabled but intensive monitoring enabled.

Brightness, notification volume, automatic workout detection, frequent health measurements, sleep monitoring and Bluetooth activity all reduce runtime. Treat 21 days as a light-to-moderate-use ceiling, not an expected result for every owner.
GPS, notifications, calls and smartwatch features
GPS
There is no onboard GPS. Walking, running and cycling routes require the phone’s location services, making the band suitable for gym sessions or phone-carrying workouts but unsuitable for phone-free hikes, rides or runs.

Mi Fitness can mirror selected phone notifications. Long messages are shortened, images are not shown, emoji support is limited and replies are unavailable. App-by-app notification controls are provided.
Calls and voice control
Incoming calls can appear as alerts, but independent testing found no speaker or microphone, so the band cannot conduct wrist calls. Notebookcheck also found no voice assistant.
Compatibility and Mi Fitness
Xiaomi lists Android 8.0-or-newer and iOS 14.0-or-newer compatibility. Mi Fitness is required for setup and management. Notebookcheck reported Health Connect, Strava and Suunto integrations, but menus and integrations can vary by country, account region, operating system, firmware and app version. Imported Chinese or NFC hardware may behave differently from a locally sold global model.

Smart Band 10 versus Smart Band 9
The Band 10 is an incremental upgrade rather than a new class of device. Its principal improvements are the larger display, narrower bezels and higher advertised brightness. Both generations remain phone-dependent for GPS, and the value of upgrading depends on the price gap and your need for the larger screen. If a discounted Band 9 offers the same tracking basics at a substantially lower price, it may be the better bargain.

Samsung Galaxy Fit3
TechRadar’s comparison lists a 1.6-inch AMOLED display, no GPS and a 13-day battery rating. It is a sensible basic-tracking alternative, especially for Samsung users, but offers a smaller screen and shorter claimed endurance.
Xiaomi Smart Band 10 Pro
The Pro is aimed at buyers wanting a larger, more smartwatch-like body and potentially more advanced positioning features. Compare current regional GPS, dimensions, battery, availability and price before paying the premium.
GPS-equipped trackers and watches
Runners, cyclists and hikers who leave their phones behind should choose a device with onboard GPS, even if that means a higher price, heavier body or shorter battery life. Older Xiaomi bands can also be better value when clearance discounts are substantial.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Who should buy the Xiaomi Smart Band 10?
- Buy it for inexpensive step, sleep and workout tracking, a bright lightweight display, long light-use battery life and Android/iPhone support.
- Skip it if standalone GPS, wrist calls, message replies or medical-grade monitoring is essential.
- Choose Ceramic only if its materials and appearance justify the extra weight and price; core tracking is not fundamentally different.
- Choose NFC only after confirming the exact regional model and payment service in your country.
- Choose a GPS watch or tracker if phone-free route recording matters more than low weight and long endurance.
Buying checklist
- Record the exact SKU or model number.
- Confirm the country where you will use it.
- Check whether the listing explicitly says NFC, rather than assuming every Band 10 includes it.
- Verify payment-service, Mi Fitness account-region and firmware compatibility.
- Check seller warranty, returns, charger and packaging.
- Inspect the strap clasp and fit before strenuous activity.
- Read the dated price and remember that marketplace/import prices can change quickly.
Water-resistance limits
5ATM means water-resistant, not permanently waterproof. Xiaomi excludes hot showers, saunas, diving and some high-impact or fast-current situations. Water resistance can decline after aging or damage.
