How to assess the claimed $23 space heater
There is no exact listing to evaluate, so the $23 figure cannot be connected to a particular heater or seller. Before buying a portable heater, identify the model and heating method, then check the manufacturer’s specifications, safety documentation, warranty and return terms. Do not assume that a low price means the unit is suitable for a whole room or safe to use while unattended.
- Confirm the exact model, rated wattage and intended room or personal-use application.
- Look for clearly documented tip-over and overheat shutoffs, and verify any safety-testing claim against the product documentation or testing organization named by the seller.
- Check the seller, condition, coupon or membership requirements, delivery charges, return deadline and warranty provider.
- Follow the manufacturer’s placement and use instructions. Keep a portable heater away from bedding, curtains, furniture and water; do not leave it unattended around children or pets.
If a listing omits the model number or safety information, or the seller and return terms are unclear, skip it rather than treating $23 as proof of value.

What would make a Quest 3S “50% off”?
The 50% claim cannot be checked without the sale price and the comparison price for the same storage tier and condition. Meta’s $299.99 figure was the U.S. launch starting price in September 2024, not proof of a current regular price. PC Gamer reported that Quest 3S pricing rose to about $349.99 beginning April 19, 2026, but that reported figure should not be treated as a verified live Meta price. PC Gamer’s report describes the change.
Using $349.99 as a purely illustrative comparison, half would be about $175. That is not a confirmed sale price, and it does not establish that the headline promotion existed. A retailer’s percentage-off label may use a list price that differs from recent selling prices.

Before considering an offer, check whether it is for the 128GB or 256GB configuration, whether the unit is new or refurbished, and whether the seller is authorized. Confirm exactly what is included—such as controllers, charging equipment, games or a subscription—and whether any trial renews automatically. Trade-in credit, financing and account-targeted coupons are not the same as an unconditional price cut. Compare the final checkout total and warranty coverage, not just the percentage in the headline.

What could “Roku TVs from $170” mean?
A starting price does not tell you the screen size, resolution or manufacturer. The lowest-priced option could be a small HD television rather than a larger 4K set. Roku’s 2026 product information lists Select, Plus and Pro lines, along with Hiro and retailer-exclusive models, and distinguishes Roku-made branded televisions from partner-made sets running Roku TV software. Verify the brand and model on the actual product page; “Roku TV” alone does not identify who made the television or handles its hardware warranty.
Compare the exact set’s screen size, HD or 4K resolution, refresh rate, supported HDR formats, HDMI ports, remote and wireless features against your needs. A low-cost bedroom or secondary TV may be a reasonable fit if its size and connections work for you. It may not suit someone seeking high-refresh-rate gaming, premium HDR or advanced audio. Check delivery, installation, stand inclusion, return shipping and warranty responsibility with the retailer selling that model.

Roku’s deals page notes that shipping and handling are disclosed at checkout for Roku.com purchases. Roku’s direct-site return policy describes a 30-day return period from shipment for Roku.com purchases, subject to product and policy conditions. Those terms do not automatically apply to televisions bought from another retailer.
Check the offer before paying
- Open the exact product listing. Record the model number, seller, condition, configuration and advertised price; do not rely on a search-result snippet or headline.
- Verify the discount basis. Compare the same model and configuration against a documented current price, not only a launch MSRP or seller’s crossed-out list price.
- Apply the offer terms. Check coupon, app, membership, trade-in, financing and account restrictions, then confirm the discount appears in the cart.
- Review the total and protections. Check shipping, delivery, taxes, return costs, return deadline and warranty provider before placing the order.
