The Xbox Partner Preview aired on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, so it is no longer an upcoming event. Watch the official replay on YouTube; the presentation ran for about 30 minutes and began at 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. GMT. Its 14-game lineup included a same-day release of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Legends of the Zone Trilogy, plus new footage, release-date announcements, and Game Pass news.
What was the Xbox Partner Preview?
Xbox described the broadcast as a focused presentation for third-party partner games, rather than a first-party Xbox showcase or a long-form keynote. It mixed new reveals with gameplay, release dates, and updates from publishers including Capcom, Nexon, EA, Square Enix, and Sega. The intended audience included Xbox console owners, Windows PC players, and Game Pass subscribers, but an appearance at the event did not mean every game was coming to every Xbox platform or to Game Pass. Xbox’s March 4, 2024 announcement set those expectations before the show.
It was not a venue to expect major first-party announcements such as new Halo, Gears, or Forza reveals. The program’s focus was partner games.
Where to watch the replay
The official Xbox Partner Preview replay is the primary destination for watching the event now. Xbox’s YouTube channel and Twitch channel are also available, though the replay link is the direct route to this particular presentation.

At the time, Xbox said its YouTube streams would be available in 4K at 60 frames per second and streams on other channels in 1080p at 60fps. Those were the announced specifications for the live streams, not a guarantee about the current replay’s playback quality. Xbox also advertised regional and multilingual feeds, subtitles in more than 40 languages, ASL and BSL interpretation, and English audio description. The announcement does not establish that every original regional or accessibility feed remains online.
For creators considering a co-stream or video-on-demand breakdown, Xbox warned that automated systems could cause disruptions and advised avoiding copyrighted music in VODs and checking the relevant platform’s terms. That is Xbox’s creator guidance, not a guarantee that a stream or clip will be free of copyright claims.
What Xbox said to expect before the show
Before the broadcast, Xbox specifically highlighted new gameplay for Tales of Kenzera: Zau, more footage of Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, and a closer look at The First Berserker: Khazan. It promised more than a dozen trailers and updates from partners including Capcom, Nexon, and EA. Those were confirmed previews, not a complete list of everything that would appear.

These are announcements made in 2024, not statements about current availability or the present Game Pass catalog. In particular, Game Pass Ultimate Perks, PC Game Pass, and a day-one Game Pass release are distinct claims.

Every game featured in the March 2024 presentation
The official Xbox recap published March 6, 2024 lists all 14 featured games. Dates below are the dates announced at the time; they should not be read as current release-status updates.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Legends of the Zone Trilogy
The presentation’s clearest surprise was a shadow drop: the trilogy became available on Xbox on the day of the broadcast. It bundles S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky, and S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat, with Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S support through backward compatibility.
Final Fantasy XIV Online
Xbox announced that the full launch on Xbox Series X|S would be March 21, 2024; the open beta was already live during the presentation. A Starter Edition was offered through Game Pass Ultimate Perks from March 21 through April 19, 2024. That was a limited-time Perks promotion, not a permanent Game Pass inclusion.
Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess
Capcom showed a detailed gameplay trailer for the action-strategy game and announced a day-one Game Pass release. Xbox said it was coming to Xbox Series X|S and Windows in 2024. “Day one” describes the announcement made at the event; it does not establish the game’s current subscription-catalog status.

The Sinking City 2
Frogwares revealed the sequel as a world premiere, showing a more overt horror direction. Its trailer introduced a mystery centered on Arkham, flooding, and a new character. The cited event recap did not establish a release date or a platform list.
Persona 3 Reload: Expansion Pass
Sega announced an Expansion Pass for Persona 3 Reload with costumes, background music, and additional story content involving Episode Aigis –The Answer–. This was an expansion announcement, separate from the base game’s availability.
Unknown 9: Awakening
Bandai Namco and Reflector showed new gameplay focused on protagonist Haroona, played by Anya Chalotra. This was a gameplay update for an already announced game, not the game’s first reveal.
Tales of Kenzera: Zau
New footage showed traversal and the contrasting abilities of the sun and moon masks, with Abubakar Salim narrating. Xbox announced an April 23, 2024 release for Xbox Series X|S and Windows.

Griefville: Survive the Nightmare!
Griefville is a Roblox experience developed by RocketRide Games and Universal Products & Experiences, with Chucky as its central horror character. Xbox said Roblox, Griefville, and the Chucky content were playable on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S at the time. It is a Roblox experience, not a conventional standalone Xbox game.
Creatures of Ava
Inverge Studios unveiled a game about studying, understanding, and taming creatures on the planet Ava. Its premise involves trying to save the planet from a life-consuming infection. The cited recap did not give a firm launch date.
Monster Jam Showdown
This new arcade-style off-road racing game featured monster trucks including Megalodon, El Toro Loco, and Grave Digger. It was announced for Xbox Series X|S in 2024.
The Alters
11 bit studios showed new footage of an adventure-survival game with base-building elements. Its protagonist creates alternate versions of himself to survive on a hostile planet. Xbox said it was coming to Game Pass, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows, without giving a specific release date in the cited recap.

The First Berserker: Khazan
Nexon showed combat from this game set in the Dungeon & Fighter universe. It follows Khazan, a betrayed hero seeking revenge, and Xbox Series X|S was confirmed as a platform.
Frostpunk 2
The sequel’s trailer placed its story 30 years after the original Frostpunk’s blizzard, with political conflict facing the new society. Xbox announced a July 24, 2024 release for Windows and PC Game Pass. The cited announcement specifically named PC Game Pass and Windows, not an Xbox console release.
Sleight of Hand
RiffRaff Games revealed a third-person stealth game built around espionage, occult magic, cursed artifacts, and a witch-coven premise. The reveal used a cinematic trailer; the event recap did not characterize it as gameplay footage.

- Game Pass: The event explicitly identified Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess as a day-one Game Pass title, said The Alters was coming to Game Pass, and named Frostpunk 2 for PC Game Pass. The Final Fantasy XIV Online Starter Edition was a separate, limited-time Game Pass Ultimate Perks offer.
- Xbox One: The event recap specifically confirmed Xbox One support for the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. trilogy and the Roblox experience Griefville. Do not infer Xbox One compatibility for the rest of the lineup.
- Windows and Xbox consoles: Platforms varied by game. A Windows announcement, an Xbox Series X|S announcement, and a Game Pass announcement are not interchangeable, and a game shown at an Xbox event was not necessarily coming to every platform.
The event was strongest as a compact discovery show for third-party games, with the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. shadow drop and the Final Fantasy XIV Xbox launch details among its most immediately practical news. It was more limited than a broad first-party showcase, and its replay is now the useful way to revisit what Xbox announced.
