Overview

Import accounting and bank records from CSV or Excel files, compare them, review unmatched transactions, create grouped matches and complete reconciliation statements. This makes speedRecon practical for teams already working with exported records; it leaves the work of obtaining and uploading those records with the team.

Matching rules can combine references, dates, amounts and text, with tolerances and case sensitivity. That flexibility helps when records do not align exactly. One-to-many and many-to-many manual matches address transactions that cannot be paired individually, though they still require reviewer attention.

The audit trail records timeline activity, review actions, grouped matches and completion records. Exception workflows and approval controls support a more deliberate close process. Company workspaces isolate reconciliations, files, collaborators and related records, with role-aware owner and collaborator access.

Key features

Configurable matching: Rules can combine several fields and tolerances, making the tool more adaptable than a simple exact-match approach.
Grouped matching: Manual one-to-many and many-to-many matches help resolve transaction groupings that ordinary pair-by-pair matching cannot handle.
Review history: Recorded actions and completion records give teams a trail of reconciliation activity, while exception workflows and approval controls add structure to review.
Account safeguards: Registration requires email verification, HTTPS encrypts information in transit, and two-factor authentication is available on supported plans. The company says it does not intentionally store full card numbers or CVV codes.

The defining limitation is the absence of direct bank connections at launch. Organizations seeking automatic bank feeds should choose a different workflow rather than expect speedRecon to retrieve records itself.

Pricing

The free plan, Free forever, costs 0.00 GHS per month. It allows one user, up to 3 reconciliations per month and uploads of up to 300 rows per file, with basic account security, focused single-workspace review and 30-day file retention. It is a low-risk way for an individual to handle occasional, modest-sized reconciliations, but the reconciliation and row caps make it a poor fit for recurring higher-volume work.

Premium costs 299.00 GHS per month, or GHS 3,399 billed annually. It raises the limits to 3 users, 30 reconciliations per month and 800 rows per file, adds 2FA availability, and extends file retention to 90 days; review remains focused on a single workspace. This is the practical step up for a small team, though the monthly quota and row ceiling still matter for busier closes.

Enterprise costs 499.00 GHS per month, or GHS 5,499 billed annually. It supports up to 8 users, 80 reconciliations per month and 2,000 rows per file, with 2FA availability, team collaboration support and 180-day file retention. Growing teams that need more room and collaboration have a clearer case for this tier; smaller teams may not need its higher caps.

All three plans are priced in GHS. Payment options depend on account setup and include card, mobile money and manually recorded company payments; third-party processors such as Paystack may process payments.

Platforms

speedRecon is available on the web.

Who it's for

SMEs, accountants, finance departments, schools, churches, NGOs and growing businesses are the intended audience. The free tier suits a solo user with light monthly volume; Premium is aimed at small teams, while Enterprise is better aligned with teams needing more seats, higher limits and collaboration. Support is available at support@speedrecon.com.

It is not the right choice for organizations whose reconciliation process depends on direct bank connections, or whose file sizes and monthly volume exceed the caps of the plan they would use.

Pros and cons

Pros: Flexible rules can account for multiple fields, tolerances and case sensitivity, helping with imperfectly aligned records.
Pros: Grouped manual matches and recorded review activity support complex exceptions and a traceable close process.
Pros: A free single-user tier provides a way to reconcile up to 3 times monthly without a subscription.
Cons: No direct bank connections means teams must source and upload their exports.
Cons: Reconciliation quotas, row limits, seats and retention periods vary by plan, which can constrain teams as volume grows.

Verdict

Choose speedRecon if your organization wants configurable reconciliation of uploaded records, manual grouped matching and a recorded review process, and its monthly, row and seat limits fit your workload. Look elsewhere if direct bank feeds are central to your process; the file-based workflow is the product's clearest constraint.
