Overview

PickLM brings club membership management together with event operations: organizers can run leagues and tournaments, publish scores and standings, communicate with members, and manage court reservations. That breadth can reduce the need to coordinate separate tools for club administration and competition. Its focus is specifically pickleball, so it is not the fit for venues managing other court sports.

Key features

Leagues and open play

PickLM supports round robin and flight ladder leagues, plus rotating-partner and King of the Court open play. Its Flight System places players in skill-based groups and supports weekly sessions, live standings, promotion and relegation. Clubs that want recurring competition organized around player ability get more than a basic event calendar; organizers still need to decide whether these formats match how their members play.

Tournaments and DUPR

Tournaments can use single- or double-elimination brackets, with seeding based on DUPR ratings, handling for byes, live brackets and automatic submission of match results to DUPR. Players connect their DUPR accounts through OAuth. PickLM says it retains the DUPR ID rather than the account password and submits verified event results through DUPR’s Partner API. This makes it a strong fit for clubs whose events rely on DUPR ratings and verified results.

Payments and support

Organizers can set entry fees, split payments between doubles partners and issue automatic refunds when an event is cancelled. Fees are processed through Razorpay; PickLM says it stores payment status, payment-link references and transaction amounts, not card or bank details. Dink Desk provides organizers in-app and email support, including setup guidance and event-day help, a useful backstop for clubs running live events.

Privacy and security

PickLM says data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Its privacy policy specifies HTTPS/TLS for API communications and role-based access controls. It also says it does not sell personal information and does not collect GPS location, advertising identifiers or payment credentials. These policies may reassure clubs concerned about member and payment data, though the payment processing itself runs through Razorpay.

Pricing

The Founder Membership costs 0.00 USD per free and gives approved clubs full access to every feature without a credit card during the launch period. That is unusually broad access for an eligible club, but approval and the launch-period condition mean it is not a guaranteed permanent free tier for every organizer. No paid-plan price is given; any such plan is custom pricing.

Platforms

PickLM is available on Android, iOS and the web. The app page lists iOS 16+ and Android 11+ requirements, so clubs using older phones should check compatibility before relying on the mobile apps.

Who it's for

PickLM is best suited to pickleball club organizers who need memberships, recurring leagues, tournaments and payment workflows in one system. It also addresses players joining events and facility owners managing courts, reservations and venue-wide events. A facility seeking tools for several sports, or a club that only needs basic court booking, may prefer a narrower service.

Pros and cons

Pro: League, tournament and open-play formats cover recurring play as well as bracketed events, giving clubs room to run different kinds of competition.
Pro: DUPR-based seeding and automatic verified-result submission suit clubs that use DUPR ratings to organize and record play.
Pro: Partner payment splits and automatic cancellation refunds address practical event-payment tasks directly.
Con: The free Founder Membership is limited to approved clubs and the launch period, so clubs cannot count on it as a lasting, generally available free plan.
Con: Mobile apps require iOS 16+ or Android 11+, which excludes devices below those versions.
Con: PickLM supports pickleball rather than multiple court sports, limiting its appeal to mixed-sport facilities.

Alternatives

For a broader shortlist of booking tools, see Court Reservation Software. PickLM is the more event-focused choice when leagues, tournaments and DUPR workflows matter alongside reservations.

CourtBeam is a better fit for clubs prioritizing court calendars, groups, events, RSVP and basic waitlists: its free plan covers up to two reservable court calendars, with a paid Club plan at 99.00 USD per month.
Eyes On Club suits clubs whose main need is court reservations through a booking portal and app; its Core plan is free, with no booking commission stated.
Orhuk may suit operators seeking unlimited resources and team members without a subscription; its free plan charges a flat 3% per transaction.
PlayRez is an alternative for tournament hosting, with tournament features on a free plan that deducts a flat $1 per paid signup.
HomeCourt is worth considering for a web-based venue platform offering unlimited courts per location, online booking, Open Play, payment collection and revenue reports on a free plan.
Matchletic is a web option for player discovery and matching alongside booking: its free Starter plan lists up to two courts, while Pro costs 49.00 GBP per month and offers unlimited courts.
Tourneon offers clubs a free web plan without a platform subscription, with a configurable platform fee when players book.
youarepadel is another web-based option for clubs and players.

Verdict

PickLM is a strong match for pickleball clubs that want leagues, tournaments, open play, court operations and payments under one roof, especially when DUPR integration is central to competition. The approved-club Founder Membership makes it worth considering during its launch period, but its limited eligibility and duration are important caveats. Look elsewhere if you need a durable free plan, support for other court sports or only straightforward reservations.
