Overview

Ozchain is a web-based franchise management platform for central oversight across multiple locations. It suits franchisors that want to bring franchisee activity, royalty administration and compliance work into one system. Its free Startup tier is a practical entry point, but the one-user cap and uncertainty around paid-tier inclusions call for care before building a larger operation around it.

Key features

The franchisee portal gives franchisees access to documents, a way to submit reports, performance metrics and a channel to communicate with headquarters. That shared workspace can keep routine exchanges connected to network operations; on the free tier, however, a single user account limits the franchisor’s internal participation.

Royalty tools combine configurable calculation rules, automated invoice generation, ACH payment integration and collection tracking. This is a useful set for networks seeking to coordinate recurring royalty tasks in one platform. Compliance checklists, audit trails and dashboards support tracking brand standards across locations, while workflow automation covers onboarding, audits, renewals and communications.

Ozchain also provides a version-controlled document repository, territory assignments, performance benchmarking and consolidated financial, compliance and KPI reporting. Multi-location dashboards, standards checklists and operational audits make it especially relevant to franchisors that need a central view of execution across sites. Integrations include Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, Stripe, Shopify, Salesforce, HubSpot, Twilio, Slack and Microsoft Teams, with bi-directional sync, OAuth2 security and webhook automation.

Ozchain can run as a standalone franchise management platform, so using it does not require another Hykmah product. It is web-only, which is a straightforward fit for browser-based work but not for teams that require a dedicated mobile or desktop app.

Pricing

Ozchain has a free plan and paid plans, but the Startup tier’s product-specific limits differ from the separate Free plan figures. The free Startup tier includes up to 10 franchise locations, 100 leads, basic lead management, a franchisee portal, document management and one user account. That makes it a constrained starting point for a small network, not a team-wide setup.

Plan	Price	Included capacity	Best fit
Free	Price not listed	1 product, 100 records, 100 transactions/month, 1 GB storage and Docs support	A small trial of the platform’s capacity for one product
Professional	50.00 AUD per month	Up to 2 products, 1,000 records, 1,000 transactions/month, 10 GB storage, Email + Phone support and 2 hours onboarding	Networks needing more room than the free record and transaction caps
Premium	350.00 AUD per month	Up to 5 products, 10,000 records, 10,000 transactions/month, 100 GB storage, Priority + Dedicated AM support and 8 hours onboarding	Larger operations that need higher limits and dedicated support
Enterprise	Custom pricing	All products, unlimited records, transactions and storage, 4-hour SLA support and custom onboarding	Networks whose needs exceed the fixed plan limits

The Free plan’s 100-record and 100-transaction monthly limits and 1 GB storage cap are tight for ongoing multi-location administration. Professional raises those ceilings, while Premium adds substantially more capacity, support and onboarding at a much higher monthly price. Product-specific users, features and add-ons vary by paid tier, so contact Hykmah to confirm what each includes before choosing a plan.

Platforms

Ozchain runs on the web. Its integrations span accounting, payments, commerce, customer management and communications tools, including Xero, QuickBooks, Stripe, Salesforce, Slack and Microsoft Teams.

Who it's for

Ozchain is aimed at franchise networks of 5–100+ locations, including food and beverage, home services and fitness businesses. It is strongest for franchisors that need a shared portal, royalty workflows and compliance oversight; a small team can start on the Startup tier, but its one-account limit makes it a poor long-term choice if multiple staff need access. Businesses without franchise operations or those seeking a mobile-first platform should look elsewhere.

Pros and cons

Pros: The portal, compliance tools and royalty workflow bring several core franchise tasks together across locations.
Pros: The Startup tier covers up to 10 locations and includes a portal and document management, giving smaller networks a free way to begin.
Pros: Bi-directional sync, OAuth2 security and webhook automation support connections with a broad set of business tools.
Cons: Startup allows only one user account, limiting collaboration within the franchisor’s team.
Cons: The Free plan caps usage at 100 records, 100 transactions/month and 1 GB storage, which may constrain a growing network.
Cons: Paid-tier inclusions vary, so buyers must confirm users, features and add-ons with Hykmah before committing.

Alternatives

For restaurant-focused comparisons, see Restaurant Franchise Management Software.

CHRGD is worth considering if unlimited franchisee locations matter and a small transaction fee on royalty payments is acceptable; its Free Forever plan has no monthly fees.
Melp is a broader communications option, with a free plan, free trial and a Standard plan at 14.00 USD per month billed annually for up to 100 users.
FranConnect is another paid franchise platform; its pricing depends on modules, integrations, data migration and rollout scope.
Franchora is another paid franchise-management option.
IFX may suit buyers who want to choose modules individually; its a la carte plan describes unlimited user accounts and storage, with custom pricing.
OpsAnalitica offers a free trial and custom pricing that varies by business size, required features and contract terms.
Franchise Systems AI is another paid, web-based option.
Janus 360 is a paid alternative with a no-cost-per-month route optimizer priced per optimization, as well as per-location pricing.

Verdict

Ozchain is a strong fit for franchisors that want royalty administration, franchisee access and compliance tracking in one standalone web platform. The free Startup tier makes it possible to begin across up to 10 locations, but one user account and unclear paid-tier inclusions are meaningful constraints. Choose it when consolidated franchise operations are the priority; look elsewhere if your team needs shared access from the outset or firm clarity on paid features before evaluating costs.
