Overview

Founded in 2016, Raklet brings online joining, automated renewals, a member portal and communications into one service. Page-based content gating, a website builder and custom domains give organizations tools to present member content and services under their own web presence.

Branded apps for iPhone and Android support digital membership cards, which members can also use through mobile wallets. Raklet advertises more than 4,000 integrations. These features make the platform appealing to groups that value a branded digital touchpoint, though organizations should weigh that against the limits and costs of their chosen plan.

Key features

Membership operations: Online joining and renewals, automated renewals and a member portal cover routine parts of the membership lifecycle. That combination is useful for organizations seeking one place to manage member access and ongoing engagement.
Communications: Each plan includes a monthly free-email allowance, from 1,250 on Free to 50,000 on Premium. The caps give organizations a predictable baseline, but groups with larger mailing needs should compare their expected volume with the relevant plan limit.
Events: Raklet supports online and offline events, with tickets, RSVPs and guest check-in. This breadth suits organizations running a mix of virtual and in-person gatherings.
Web and mobile presence: A website builder, custom domains and page-based content gating support a branded member experience. Branded mobile apps and wallet-compatible digital cards extend it to members’ phones.
Payments and safeguards: Raklet works with Stripe in Stripe-supported countries. Transaction fees range from 1% to 4% plus $0.60 per transaction, depending on subscription, so payment volume and plan choice can materially affect costs. Raklet says it uses industry-standard security practices and strict data-protection policies, and that customer information is never shared.

Pricing

Raklet has a free plan and paid plans. The Free plan costs 0.00 USD per free with no strings attached; it allows 100 contacts, one admin seat and 1,250 free emails per month. That is a useful starting point for a small organization, but the contact ceiling and single seat limit leave little room for a growing team or list.

Essentials costs 59.00 USD per month with monthly billing and includes 500 contacts, one admin seat and 5,000 free emails per month. It fits a small organization that needs more contacts and email capacity without adding administrators. Professional costs 119.00 USD per month with monthly billing, raising the allowances to 1,000 contacts, two admin seats and 10,000 free emails per month; that additional seat and headroom better serve a team sharing administration.

Premium costs 499.00 USD per month with monthly billing and includes 10,000 contacts, three admin seats, 50,000 free emails per month and 10 roles. It is aimed at larger operations that need substantially higher allowances and role controls, but its price is a significant step up. Annual subscriptions receive two months free. There is no setup or installation fee. Check the contact and email caps, administrator needs and transaction fees before choosing a plan.

Platforms

Raklet offers Android and iOS apps. Branded apps are available for iPhone and Android; members can use digital cards in the app or mobile wallets.

Who it's for

Raklet is a good fit for membership organizations that want online enrollment and renewals, event management, member communications and a branded web and mobile experience together. Smaller groups can start with Free, while organizations with more contacts or staff sharing administration may need a paid tier. It is less suitable for organizations whose contact lists exceed their plan’s cap or whose payment costs make transaction fees a poor fit.

Pros and cons

Pros: Online and automated renewals, a member portal, communications and event tools bring core membership tasks together.
Pros: Custom domains, branded apps and wallet-compatible digital cards support a more organization-specific member experience.
Pros: A free tier with 100 contacts gives small groups a way to start without a subscription charge.
Cons: Contact caps rise by plan, from 100 on Free to 10,000 on Premium, so growth can require a more expensive tier.
Cons: Transaction fees of 1% to 4% plus $0.60 per transaction can add up, and Raklet currently works with Stripe only in Stripe-supported countries.
Cons: Admin seats are limited to one on Free and Essentials, two on Professional and three on Premium, which may constrain teams sharing the work.

Alternatives

PushPress offers a free plan with unlimited leads, admins, members and staff, alongside card and ACH transaction fees; consider it if those unlimited free account counts matter more than Raklet’s contact caps.
membermojo has a free plan and a 100-member tier at 50.00 GBP per year, with prices inclusive of VAT; consider it if that annual, member-count pricing suits your group.
Mybers offers a free-forever Starter plan with unlimited members and 500 emails per month; consider it if unlimited member capacity at no monthly fee is the priority.
Pelcro offers a free plan for 100 customers and an Advanced plan at $450 per month for up to 2,000 customers; consider it if those customer-based tiers better fit your needs.
Clubworx offers a free plan for up to 20 active members with online booking, payments, emails and SMS, self check-in and attendance features; consider it if that small free allowance fits.
CiviCRM offers a $15.00 USD per month Starter plan with unlimited users and up to 5,000 contacts; consider it if a lower-cost, higher-contact entry tier is more important than Raklet’s branded mobile experience.
ChamberMaster is a web-based paid option.

Verdict

Choose Raklet if your organization wants membership administration, renewals, events and communications paired with branded web and mobile touchpoints. Its breadth is the main draw; contact limits, seat caps, Stripe availability and transaction fees are the reasons to look elsewhere or compare plans carefully before committing.
