Overview

Mentorloop is mentoring software for organizations that need to organize participant matches and follow progress across a program. It suits companies, universities, public bodies and community organizations; its strongest case is a structured program that needs more than pair matching, though Pro starts at 299.00 USD per month.

Founded in 2016, Mentorloop is a Certified B Corp and says it has been female founded since that year. It supports matching workflows and program templates, with a participant limit of 50.

Key features

Matching and participant momentum

All programs include unlimited matches and manual matching, as well as goal setting, guided resources, activity and sentiment tracking, and a live dashboard. The listed matching method is AI-assisted, while Enterprise Smart Match compares compatibility across the cohort to support equitable matching at scale. Manual matching and unlimited matches make the core offer workable for programs that can make pairing decisions themselves; Smart Match is the more relevant distinction for large or complex cohorts.

Mentorloop Milestones track pair progress automatically, and Nudges tailor guidance to participant engagement. These features give coordinators a way to follow momentum and prompt participants, rather than relying on match creation alone.

Communication, recognition and reporting

Participants can use video and chat, in-Loop messaging, two-way calendar integrations and preferred video conferencing. Slack notifications can bring program updates into team workflows. Kudos badges are peer-awarded and Achievement badges are awarded automatically; Enterprise adds custom program badges.

Enterprise reporting includes data collection, Sentiment, custom surveys, AI-powered survey summaries, custom reports, monthly digests and one-click PDF downloads. That breadth should matter to organizations that need to collect and share program outcomes; it is less compelling for teams that only need basic coordination.

Integrations, security and access

Integrations include Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, Oracle, BambooHR, HiBob, Employment Hero, Rippling, ELMO, UKG, iMIS and WildApricot. Native iOS and Android apps support participants, alongside web access. Authentication options include password, Google and LinkedIn sign-on, plus SAML/OIDC single sign-on; staff administrators have multi-factor authentication.

Mentorloop is Cyber Essentials certified, GDPR compliant and ICO registered. It encrypts data at rest and requires secure connections for users. Application data centers are in Sydney, London and Ohio, with a program hosted in the center matching the customer's primary location. AI features are optional and user-controlled; data sent to AI is not stored outside Mentorloop or used to train AI models. Mentorloop states partial compliance with WCAG 2.2 Level AA, with some areas meeting or exceeding AAA.

Pricing

Pro starts at 299.00 USD per month. It is aimed at non-profits and community groups, with a simple mentoring program and a selection of program themes. The price is a substantial commitment for a program capped at 50 participants, so it is best suited to organizations that will use the matching, communications and tracking tools together rather than needing only a basic directory.

Enterprise uses custom pricing. It adds one-to-one expert support, SSO and integrations, customizable organization setup, a bespoke matching algorithm and participant profiles. Larger organizations that need bespoke matching or administrator support have a clearer reason to move up; smaller teams should weigh those additions against Pro's stated participant cap.

A free plan is available, but its inclusions and limits are not described. Pro and Enterprise are the defined paid choices; Enterprise is the route for organizations requiring the advanced matching and reporting capabilities described above.

Platforms

Mentorloop runs on web and has native apps for iOS and Android participants. That combination supports access across desktop and mobile, with mobile apps intended for participants rather than an explicitly described administrator workflow.

Who it's for

Mentorloop fits organizations running organized mentoring programs, including companies, universities, government, industry associations and charitable foundations. Pro is positioned toward non-profits and community groups, while Enterprise is better aligned with organizations that need custom setup, SSO, integrations, bespoke matching or expanded reporting.

It is a weaker fit for a small group seeking a low-cost tool for a handful of matches: Pro starts at 299.00 USD per month, and the published participant limit is 50. Organizations that need a larger cohort or custom matching should consider Enterprise pricing rather than assume Pro will scale to their needs.

Pros and cons

Pro: Unlimited matches, manual matching, templates and progress tools give program teams a broad operating toolkit rather than a matching-only product.
Pro: Calendar, messaging, video, Slack notifications and participant mobile apps provide several ways to keep participants connected.
Pro: Regional data centers, encryption, secure connections, SSO options and administrator MFA address security and access needs for organizational programs.
Con: Pro starts at 299.00 USD per month and the participant limit is 50, which may rule it out for small pilots or larger cohorts.
Con: Smart Match and the expanded reporting package are Enterprise additions, so organizations needing cohort-scale matching or detailed program analysis face custom pricing.
Con: Accessibility is stated as partial WCAG 2.2 Level AA compliance, so it is not a full AA compliance claim.

Verdict

Choose Mentorloop if your organization needs a structured mentoring program that joins matching, engagement tools and program tracking, with Enterprise available for cohort-scale matching and reporting. Look elsewhere if the 50-participant Pro limit or its 299.00 USD per month starting price does not fit: those are the clearest constraints for smaller programs, while Enterprise requires custom pricing.
