Overview

Loxo is a recruiting platform for staffing firms and executive-search teams that want sourcing, candidate management and hiring workflow assistance in one place. Its strongest case is breadth, from natural-language candidate search to agents that prepare shortlists; people still make the candidate decisions.

The platform spans Candidate Relationship Management Software, Recruiting CRM Software, Recruitment Agency Software, AI Recruiting Software and Candidate Sourcing Software. Loxo says its talent graph contains more than 850 million people, and that thousands of recruiting and executive-search firms use the platform.

Key features

Search and candidate data

Natural-language, relevance-ranked AI search is included in every plan, so teams need not move to a higher tier just to use it. Loxo also offers contact enrichment, bulk export and candidate outreach. Its mixed talent database and large proprietary graph give sourcing teams a broad starting point, though graph size alone cannot establish how well it fits a particular search.

Agents with a human handoff

Loxo's agents can assist with job intake, drafting job descriptions and Skill DNA, building candidate longlists and shortlists, and outreach. The workflow stops at the shortlist, leaving candidate decisions to a person. That division may suit teams seeking help with repetitive recruiting work without handing over final selection.

Connections and access

The marketplace includes integrations such as Arrange, Indeed, Ringover, Workday, Greenhouse, HubSpot, Okta and Zoom. The Chrome extension is included with Core; API access is a Professional feature. Loxo runs on the web and is also listed with API and extension access.

Pricing

Loxo has a free plan and a 7-day trial. The trial provides full Professional access and does not require a credit card. Paid plans are priced per user and billed annually, paid up front, so teams should weigh the annual commitment alongside the monthly equivalent.

Plan	Price and terms	What it includes
Core	149.00 USD per month (billed annually, paid up front; per user)	Unlimited jobs, candidates and companies; Chrome extension. Free migration for teams with at least three seats; smaller teams get guided self-serve tooling.
Professional	199.00 USD per month (billed annually, paid up front; per user)	2,500 monthly credits per seat, pooled across the team, plus API access. Credits refresh each cycle and unused credits do not carry over.
Enterprise	Custom pricing under annual agreements	SSO/SAML, advanced governance, roles and permissions, a dedicated success team and priority support.

Core is the lower-cost paid option for teams that need unlimited job, candidate and company records, but it does not include the published Professional credit allowance or API access. Professional better suits teams that need those capabilities, provided the pooled 2,500-credit-per-seat monthly allowance fits their activity. Enterprise is aimed at organizations that need stronger governance and dedicated support; its price is custom.

Platforms

Loxo is available on the web, with API access on Professional and a Chrome extension on Core. The platform also lists a broader API and extension presence.

Who it's for

Loxo is best suited to recruiting and executive-search firms that want sourcing, CRM, ATS, outreach and agent-assisted tasks together. Core may suit smaller teams that can work without the Professional credit allowance and API access; migration support is free at three seats or more. Teams with governance requirements can consider Enterprise. Organizations seeking only a standalone candidate database, or unwilling to commit to annual billing for paid seats, may prefer another fit.

Pros and cons

Pros

AI search in every plan: teams can use natural-language, relevance-ranked search without upgrading to Professional.
Agents cover several workflow steps: help with intake, job drafting, candidate lists and outreach, while a person retains candidate decisions.
Core has generous record limits: unlimited jobs, candidates and companies may work well for teams that do not need Professional's credit pool or API.
Enterprise adds governance and support: SSO/SAML, advanced roles and permissions, a dedicated success team and priority support address larger-team needs.

Cons

Paid seats require an annual upfront commitment: the per-user monthly price is billed annually, which may be a poor fit for teams seeking short-term flexibility.
Professional credits are capped and expire: 2,500 per seat each month are pooled across the team, and unused credits do not carry over.
API access is not in Core: teams that need it must step up to Professional.
Enterprise uses custom pricing: buyers cannot compare its cost from a published price.

Alternatives

Eightfold Candidate Relationship Management is worth considering if your organization already uses Eightfold Talent Acquisition; it is part of that product with no additional technology purchase.
Beamery is another paid option, with subscription fees that can depend on contacts, email sends, users, products and additional features.
MyTalent CRM may suit buyers prepared to inquire about subscription-plan details; it is available on web and as an extension.
Phenom Talent CRM is an alternative with enterprise pricing available through a Phenom expert.
Avature is another paid, web-based option.
Firefish is another paid, web-based option.
Jobylon is a paid, web-based alternative.
Sense is worth comparing if messaging is the priority: its SMS/WhatsApp Messaging plan starts at 500.00 USD per month and includes 1:1 and bulk messaging, conversation search, message templates and shared inboxes. It has no free plan or trial.

Verdict

Choose Loxo if your recruiting or executive-search team wants candidate search, recruiting workflow and agent assistance in one platform, with a person making final candidate decisions. Its main appeal is that natural-language AI search is included in every plan and its agents can support work through shortlisting. Look elsewhere if annual per-seat billing, Professional's non-carrying credit cap, or custom Enterprise pricing does not fit your team.
