Overview

Voice.ai is a voice and audio toolkit for people who want to change a voice live on PC, generate speech from text, or use online audio tools. Its strongest fit is a Windows user who wants real-time voice transformation alongside recorded-audio conversion; developers and teams also have an API and higher-volume plans to consider. The free tier makes it possible to try the core tools, but its monthly credits and five-minute conversion ceiling constrain regular use.

Key features

Live and recorded voice changing

The PC app describes its transformation as deep-learning based and says the changed voice can be heard in real time. It supports a virtual microphone and names microphone-using Windows apps including Discord, Zoom, Google Meet, WhatsApp, Skype, Twitch, Minecraft, and Fortnite. That makes it a practical option for voice chat, calls, and games on Windows. Recorded-audio changing is supported too, though the maximum conversion length depends on the plan.

Voice library, cloning, and speech tools

The PC app includes user-generated voices and describes voice cloning. It says voices repeat speech in the speaker’s language, but does not provide a language list. Voice.ai also offers text-to-speech and online audio tools. Its API offering covers voice agents, cloning, and text-to-speech, giving developers a route beyond the consumer PC app.

Privacy and security

Content submitted by users is associated with the submitting account or email; material submitted for publication becomes public after review. Anyone considering submitting a voice or other content for publication should account for that visibility. Voice.ai says it submits its app to antivirus companies for certification and names McAfee, Google, and Avast. Its Voice AI Agent page claims SOC 2 Type II, HIPAA, PCI Level 1, GDPR, and ISO 27001 compliance, and supports SSO. Those enterprise claims sit alongside a privacy policy last updated on 5 May 2022, so users handling sensitive material should review the current terms before adopting it.

Pricing

Voice.ai uses a freemium model. The Free plan costs 0.00 USD per free, billed monthly, and includes 5k credits/month, an online voice changer, text-to-speech, and audio tools with a 5-minute conversion limit. It suits occasional use, but the short conversion ceiling and finite credit allowance make it a limited choice for routine or longer jobs.

Starter costs 5.00 USD per month and raises the allowance to 15k credits/month, adds 5 instant voice clones and permits 5,000 characters per conversion; audio conversions can run up to 10 minutes. It is a modest step up for individual users who need longer conversions or a small clone allowance.

Launch costs 12.00 USD per month, shown as a first-month price with 50% off alongside $24. It includes 200k credits/month, 10 instant voice clones, 5 concurrent TTS generations, 4 concurrent agent calls, 3 phone numbers, and a 20-minute audio conversion limit. The higher quota and concurrent work make it a better fit for sustained use, though its displayed discount is explicitly for the first month.

Core costs 99.00 USD per month and includes 1M credits/month, 50 instant voice clones, priority support, 10 concurrent TTS generations, 8 concurrent agent calls, 10 phone numbers, and a 60-minute audio conversion limit. Scale costs 330.00 USD per month, with 4M credits/month, 200 instant voice clones, 15 concurrent TTS generations, 16 concurrent agent calls, 20 phone numbers, and a 180-minute conversion limit. These plans suit heavier workloads that can use the larger quotas and concurrency; Core adds priority support, while Scale increases capacity substantially.

Business costs 880.00 USD per month and includes 22M credits/month, 2,200 voice clones, technical success manager support, 15 concurrent TTS generations, 30 concurrent agent calls, and 50 phone numbers. Enterprise has custom pricing, custom credits, custom SSO, and custom terms and assurance around DPA/SLAs. The published plan terms do not give a separate audio conversion limit for Business or Enterprise.

Platforms

Voice.ai lists Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android downloads or experiences, alongside web and API offerings. Windows is the platform with the clearest app and compatibility description; the other platform listings do not establish that all PC features are available everywhere.

Who it's for

Voice.ai is best suited to Windows users who want live voice changing for calls, streams, or games and may also use recorded-audio tools. Its text-to-speech, cloning, and API options broaden its appeal to creators and developers, while the larger plans target teams that need higher quotas, concurrent generation, agent calls, and phone numbers. It is less compelling for someone who needs a clearly documented feature set across every platform or who regularly processes audio beyond the free plan’s five-minute limit.

Pros and cons

Pros: Real-time transformation, recorded-audio changing, and a virtual microphone cover both live and saved audio workflows.
Pros: Named Windows app and game compatibility makes the PC use case concrete rather than generic.
Pros: Plans scale from a free allowance to large credit quotas, clone counts, and concurrent API-related capacity.
Cons: The free plan caps audio conversions at five minutes, which can rule it out for longer recordings.
Cons: Platform pages beyond Windows have less specific feature information, making cross-platform fit harder to assess.
Cons: Submitted content for publication becomes public after review, a material consideration for voice data.

Alternatives

For a free voice changer with a different daily allowance, EaseUS VoiceWave offers four voice effects and one free for 24 hours per day; its Individual Monthly plan is 14.95 USD per month with auto-renewal and cancellation anytime. Choose it if that limited daily access suits you better than Voice.ai’s credits and conversion cap.

Dubbing AI rotates at least 10 free voices daily, with a subscription unlocking all voice characters; it may fit someone who values a rotating free selection. FineShare VoiceTrans gives 5 free daily voice effects, unlimited community voice effects, 10 custom voices, and limited soundboard effects, making it worth considering for those specific free allowances.

FineVoice AI Voice Changer has a Basic plan at 5.99 USD per month billed annually, including 100,000 TTS characters per month, 24 hours of AI voice change per month, and 5 professional voice clones; pick it if those stated allowances better match the workload. iMyFone MagicMic offers five free voices daily, basic sound effects and voice memes, recordings and audio files, and 7/24 technical support for free users.

IceVox is a free option for Windows, Android, and browser use with P2P rooms up to six participants. TuxVoice is a free Linux-only option requiring PipeWire and WirePlumber. Voxal Voice Changer has a free plan for non-commercial home use.

Verdict

Choose Voice.ai if you want real-time PC voice transformation backed by recorded-audio tools, text-to-speech, and a path to API use as your needs grow. Its main reason to look elsewhere is the combination of tight free conversion limits, uneven platform detail, and the public-after-review handling of content submitted for publication.
