Overview

LoopUp Remote Meetings combines phone audio and web conferencing for business meetings. It suits teams that want guests to join by phone or browser while a host manages the room. Its strongest case is controlled, phone-friendly meetings; the free tier’s domestic dial-out restriction narrows its usefulness.

Key features

Guests can follow an invite link and join without installing software, or LoopUp can call them on a phone they choose. That reduces setup friction for occasional attendees, but the phone option depends on the plan: Free supports domestic dial-out only, while Business adds domestic dial-in and international Pay As You Go access. Hosts can share a screen with one click and see attendees and speakers, admit late joiners, mute background noise, and manage video and screen sharing. These controls favor meetings with an active host over a simple audio bridge.

Video and call recording add options beyond phone conferencing, and recordings can be downloaded after calls. An Outlook add-in and LinkedIn profile integration support meeting workflows. SAML-based SSO integrations include Okta, OneLogin, Ping Identity, AD FS, and Centrify. Enterprise adds account administration, centralized billing and usage data, reporting, and custom branding, making it the plan aimed at organizations that need centralized user provisioning and management.

Pricing

LoopUp has a free plan and paid plans from 15.00 USD per month. The Free Plan is free and allows up to 10 participants in the US, UK, France, Germany, Spain, Sweden, Ireland and Netherlands. It includes 24/7 support by email or phone, but participants cannot dial in, and international phones are not supported. This is best for small calls where domestic dial-out is sufficient.

The Business Plan costs 15.00 USD per month and supports up to 20 participants in the same eight countries. It adds domestic dial-in and international Pay As You Go access, while retaining 24/7 email or phone support. It is the more practical choice when guests need to call in or access meetings internationally; the free plan’s smaller cap and restricted phone access are the trade-off.

The Enterprise Plan has custom pricing, billed Pay As You Go or Licence Based. It supports up to 150 participants, international dial-in and dial-out to 170+ countries, and 24/7 follow-the-sun customer support. Pricing depends on usage or licence count, expected usage and contract length. Remote Meetings tops out at 150 guests per call; larger calls are directed to LoopUp’s Event Calls offering.

Platforms

LoopUp supports Android, iOS and web, with mobile apps as well as browser access. Guests can join without downloading software, which is useful when meeting participants do not want to install an app.

Who it's for

LoopUp is a good fit for businesses that want phone-based guest access alongside host controls, video and downloadable recordings. Business suits smaller teams needing domestic dial-in or international Pay As You Go access. Enterprise is aimed at large organizations that need centralized provisioning, management and invoicing. It is less suitable for groups that need more than 150 guests in a Remote Meetings call or require international phone access on a free plan.

Pros and cons

Pro: Guests can join by invite link without downloading software, and hosts can call them on a chosen phone, easing access for occasional attendees.
Pro: Host controls cover attendees, late arrivals, background noise, video and screen sharing, while recordings can be downloaded after calls.
Pro: Enterprise combines centralized administration and billing with SSO integrations and support for calls up to 150 participants.
Con: Free is capped at 10 participants and allows domestic dial-out only; it has no dial-in numbers and excludes international phones.
Con: Business is capped at 20 participants, and international access is Pay As You Go rather than included as a fixed allowance.
Con: Remote Meetings does not cover calls above 150 guests; larger calls require LoopUp Event Calls.

Alternatives

For other options, see Audio Conferencing Software. Choose FreeConference.com if a larger free call matters more than LoopUp’s phone-and-web meeting controls: its free plan allows up to 100 call participants, though only 5 web participants, and includes unlimited calls on local numbers and email support. Conference NOW is another free option, with 10 callers, unlimited conferences and duration, and an app that requires no signup or payment; its free trial may also suit readers considering a trial. Conferoo is a free alternative for readers looking to avoid monthly or per-minute Conferoo fees; UK 03 calls use bundled minutes or cost the same as calls to 01/02 numbers.

Phonesty may suit readers seeking a free plan with USA and Germany dial-in numbers and unlimited participants under a fair-use policy; dial-out is charged separately. Consider Select Conferencing Reservationless Toll-Free Audio if you need up to 500 participants and unlimited meeting duration, and are willing to choose a paid service with a free trial rather than LoopUp’s 150-person ceiling. TurboBridge is an alternative with no monthly fee on its Value plan, but usage is billed per minute per caller. BroadData Domestic Audio Conferencing offers reservationless audio conferencing with toll dial-in at 4.9 cents/minute/participant for up to 125 participants. FreeConferenceCalling.com is worth considering for very large free calls: it allows up to 1,000 callers, with up to 25 speaking at once, and an initial six-hour limit that can be extended with a host code.

Verdict

Choose LoopUp if your business needs phone-friendly guest access, active host controls and downloadable recordings, with a path from small domestic calls to centrally managed enterprise meetings. Look elsewhere if free international access, substantially larger calls, or a simpler audio-only service matters more than those controls.
