Overview

DemandAI+ centers forecast collaboration on events, promotions, seasonality and trends, helping planners examine how those drivers relate to projected demand. It also uses market-based information and near real-time signals to identify short-term buying patterns. That combination suits teams balancing a structured forecast with the need to react to shifts in demand.

Agents extend the product beyond analysis: they can surface next-best actions, guide resolution and handle multi-step workflows when a planner engages. Planners can choose autonomous operation or human intervention. Organizations can add agents as their needs evolve and work with Logility experts to build beyond the prebuilt set, a flexible approach that will matter most to teams prepared to shape and govern agent workflows.

Key features

Driver-based forecasts and demand sensing

DemandAI+ lets planners visualize drivers such as events and promotions and see their impact on forecasted demand. Its anomaly detection flags irregularities in historical demand for review and tagging as exceptional events. Together, these functions help teams distinguish unusual history from the patterns they want to carry into a forecast. Demand sensing adds market information and near real-time signals, making the product relevant when short-term buying patterns matter alongside longer-range planning.

Agents for investigation and action

Prebuilt agents identify products, channels and regions behind forecast misses, retrieve forecast volumes and demand history through natural-language queries, surface early trend signals from time-series demand, and flag forecast models needing attention with high-impact fixes. This can reduce the work of finding where to investigate, though the agents support planner decisions rather than remove the need for planning oversight. Their ability to guide resolutions and manage multi-step workflows adds value for teams willing to decide how much autonomy is appropriate.

Planning breadth, integration and support

DemandAI+ supports scenario planning, multi-location and multi-echelon optimization, safety stock optimization, service-level targets, merchandise and assortment planning, allocation, replenishment, pricing and markdowns, and product hierarchies. That range makes it worth considering when demand planning sits within a broader supply-chain process. Logility says it can be added on top of an existing SAP IBP platform; a customer story describes integration with SAP in Serax’s Sales & Operations Planning process. Logility also reports a SOC 2 Type II audit covering security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality and privacy, with the report available to clients on request. Clients can use the Client Services Portal to manage issues and access service-pack and release information.

Pricing

DemandAI+ is paid software with custom pricing. The DemandAI+ plan has no published price; prospective customers can request a walkthrough against their planning environment. That makes it difficult to compare cost before engaging Logility, and suits organizations prepared for a vendor-led evaluation more than buyers seeking a posted price or immediate signup. No trial or seat terms are stated.

Platforms

DemandAI+ is available on the web. Logility’s stated audience includes planners, executives and non-planners who need real-time answers from planning data, extending its relevance beyond dedicated forecasting teams.

Who it's for

DemandAI+ is a strong fit for organizations coordinating demand across products, channels and regions, especially those already using SAP IBP or looking to connect forecasting with wider supply-chain planning. Its driver-based forecasts, demand sensing and configurable agents can help teams investigate misses and respond to changes. Smaller buyers seeking transparent pricing or a straightforward self-service product should look elsewhere.

Pros and cons

Pros: Driver-based forecasting and near real-time demand sensing combine planning context with short-term signals.
Pros: Prebuilt agents cover forecast misses, natural-language retrieval, trend detection and model attention, giving planners several routes into investigation.
Pros: Broad optimization and planning capabilities can support needs beyond demand forecasts alone.
Pros: Agents can be added over time and configured for autonomous or human-guided use.
Cons: Custom pricing and a walkthrough requirement make early cost and fit assessment less direct.
Cons: The breadth of agent workflows and planning capabilities is most useful to organizations able to govern and integrate them into established processes.

Verdict

Choose DemandAI+ if your organization needs driver-based forecasting, demand sensing and agent-assisted investigation within a broad planning environment, particularly alongside SAP IBP. Its main draw is the combination of near-term signals and configurable workflows; its main drawback is that custom pricing and a walkthrough make evaluation less direct. Buyers who need transparent pricing or a self-service start should compare alternatives.
