Overview

Brands can commission content-only work, jobs that include posting, Social Blasts, or ongoing retainers. The workflow runs from creator discovery and product shipping through deadlines, review, revisions, payment, and tracking. Creator payments stay in escrow until a brand approves completed work, giving the approval step practical control over release of funds.

Posting campaigns can include TikTok Spark Ads codes or Instagram Partnership Ad codes, allowing brands to boost creator posts. The marketplace operates in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Germany. Sales calls and email support are available at support@joinbrands.com.

Key features

The format range covers photos, product reviews, unboxings, demos, how-to and custom videos, green-screen videos, video ads, TikTok and TikTok Shop videos and Live, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and videos, and Amazon Shoppable Videos. In-platform chat, content approval, revisions, usage-rights management, a content library, creator ratings, and 19 content certifications support work from selection through reuse and evaluation.

Teams can use collaborators and multi-brand management; API access and performance analytics are also supported. TikTok Shop integration provides campaign and affiliate performance insights, but an account can connect only one TikTok Shop at a time. Shopify sync can import products with read-only product access, but imports only each product’s default variant. A Shopify store can be connected to one JoinBrands account at a time, while one JoinBrands account can connect multiple stores.

Pricing

JoinBrands uses a freemium model. The free Pay-as-you-go plan costs $0.00 per free and charges a 15% platform fee, with $0 Roll Over Cash. It avoids a subscription but has the highest stated fee among these plans.

Start-up is $99.00 per month, billed $99 / m, with a 12% platform fee and $30 Roll Over Cash /m. It lowers the fee for brands ready to pay a monthly subscription. Pro costs $299.00 per month, billed $299 / m, with a 10% platform fee and $90 Roll Over Cash /m; Max costs $499.00 per month, billed $499 / m, with an 8% platform fee and $150 Roll Over Cash /m. The higher tiers suit teams seeking a lower fee and more rollover cash, but the published plan terms do not state seat counts or campaign quotas, so those cannot be weighed against the higher monthly cost.

Platforms

JoinBrands is available on web, Android, and iOS. Its Android creator app is provided through the official app download page, which directs users to choose an app store.

Who it's for

It is a fit for e-commerce and direct-to-consumer brands, Amazon and TikTok Shop sellers, marketing agencies, app and software companies, and local retailers that need creator work and campaign management. Creators also participate in the marketplace. Brands whose workflow depends on several TikTok Shops under one account, or on syncing every Shopify variant, should account for the integration limits before choosing it.

Pros and cons

Pro: Multiple job types, from content-only commissions to retainers, let brands shape the engagement around the campaign.
Pro: Escrow payments tied to approval connect payment release to completed, reviewed work.
Pro: Analytics, content storage, creator ratings, and ad codes support both evaluation and promotion of creator output.
Con: The free plan charges a 15% platform fee, while even the entry paid plan costs $99.00 per month.
Con: TikTok Shop is limited to one connection per account, and Shopify sync imports only default variants.

Alternatives

For another creator-content option, Billo offers a free plan with 8 AI scripts per month and 3 AI mashup credits per month; its Video ads plan is billed from $99 per video. Consider it when those script and mashup allowances or pay-per-video creator content better suit the job.

Catch+Release offers free platform access for searching, creating projects, and collaborating, with payment to license content rather than a subscription fee. It is worth considering when licensing content from a partner library is the priority. For broader discovery, browse UGC Platforms or Influencer Marketing Platforms.

Other options include EmbedSocial, Taggbox, Yotpo Reviews, EnTribe, UGC.CO.UK, and Bazaarvoice Ratings & Reviews.

Verdict

Choose JoinBrands if your brand needs a broad creator marketplace and a workflow that connects campaign management, approval-gated payments, and performance tracking. Its format range and campaign choices are persuasive strengths. Look elsewhere if platform fees weigh heavily or your work depends on multiple TikTok Shop connections or complete Shopify variant imports.
