Overview

Founded in 2011 by Amber Venz Box and Baxter Box, LTK is headquartered in Dallas, Texas. It brings creator publishing, affiliate commerce and brand campaign management into one ecosystem, with separate creator and shopping apps.

Creators earn commission when shoppers buy through their content and can also pursue gifting partnerships and paid campaigns. The creator storefront, LTK Shop, gives recommendations a dedicated home. For brands, LTK Connect covers creator discovery, campaign management, reporting and payments. Shoppers can follow creators, browse posts and videos, save products to lists and receive price-drop alerts.

LTK belongs in Social Commerce Software and Influencer Marketing Platforms, serving distinct needs across those categories rather than just one audience.

Key features

Creator publishing and commerce

The creator toolkit combines content editing, bulk uploads, scheduling, auto-posting and social sharing. Product search across retailers includes rate comparison, which helps creators compare options while assembling shoppable content. LTK says its network spans 8,000 integrated retailers that pay commission on sales; that breadth is useful for creators whose recommendations cover different stores.

Analytics cover video performance, follower growth, audience demographics, commission earnings, product impressions and top-selling products and retailers. This connects audience activity with commerce outcomes, making the tools more relevant to creators who want to understand both reach and sales.

Brand campaigns

LTK Connect lets brands discover creators, cast campaigns, track reporting and make payments. Its creator caps make the plan choice consequential: entry-level capacity suits narrower programs, while larger programs need higher tiers. Connect Scale offers unlimited creator access and dedicated customer service, a meaningful advantage for teams managing campaigns at volume.

Shopping and privacy

The shopper app centers on creator-led discovery, with follows, shoppable posts and videos, product lists and price-drop alerts. LTK also supports shoppable content, native social checkout, product catalog sync and creator affiliate tools. LTK says it uses technical and organizational measures to protect personal information and requires service providers to do likewise; users can access, correct or delete account information in settings or close an account through settings or Customer Support.

Pricing

LTK offers a free plan, while paid plans start at $99/mo. The brand plans have different quotas and terms, so the headline starting price does not describe the full range of capacity.

Connect — $99.00 USD per month: 10 offers per month, up to $25,000 annual collaboration spend and unlimited campaigns. This is the entry point for a brand coordinating a limited number of creator offers; the offer cap is tighter than the campaign allowance.
Launch — $99.00 USD per month: 10 creators per month, $25,000 annual collaboration spend, one user seat and one promoted brand. Its one-seat limit makes it a fit for a single operator, not a shared brand team.
Pro — $999.00 USD per month: 50 offers per month, up to $100,000 annual collaboration spend and unlimited campaigns. This suits brands running a larger program, though it still imposes offer and spend limits.
Enterprise — custom pricing: unlimited offers, unlimited collaboration spend and dedicated customer service. It is the tier for brands whose volume exceeds the defined caps and that need dedicated support.

Connect and Launch share a $99 monthly price but describe different limits: Connect specifies offers and unlimited campaigns, while Launch specifies creator access, one seat and one promoted brand. Teams should match the quota to their workflow rather than assume the plans are interchangeable. The free plan is available, but its caps are not described here, so it cannot be compared with the paid brand allowances.

Platforms

LTK is available on Android, iOS and the web. The mobile apps serve creators and shoppers, while the web option extends access beyond mobile.

Who it's for

LTK is a strong candidate for creators who want a storefront, publishing tools, retailer product search and commission analytics in a connected workflow. It also fits brands coordinating creator partnerships, particularly those that can match their monthly offers and annual collaboration spend to a defined plan. Shoppers who prefer product discovery through creators may value the follow, save and price-alert functions.

It is less suited to brands that need broad creator access at the entry tier or multiple Launch users, since Launch is limited to 10 creators monthly and one seat. Higher-volume brands face a substantial jump to Pro or must seek custom Enterprise pricing.

Pros and cons

Pro: Creator publishing, storefronts, affiliate commissions and commerce analytics sit alongside brand campaign tools, covering several stages of creator commerce.
Pro: The stated 8,000-retailer network and product search with rate comparison give creators a broad product pool for recommendations.
Pro: Connect Scale removes creator-access limits and includes dedicated customer service for brands running larger programs.
Con: Launch provides just one user seat and one promoted brand, constraining even a small team that needs shared access.
Con: Pro costs $999.00 USD per month and still caps offers at 50 per month and annual collaboration spend at $100,000.
Con: Enterprise has custom pricing, so the cost of unlimited offers and spend cannot be assessed from a fixed monthly price.

Alternatives

Facebook Shops may suit eligible businesses seeking a free shop option; checkout availability varies by market.
TalkShopLive is an alternative with a free Shopify Basic option that charges $0.30 per item sold and 10.25% of order value.
TikTok Shop has no setup fee and charges 6% commission on each sale, making it an option for sellers weighing transaction costs.
Taggbox offers a free tier with one feed, 500 views per month and updates every four days, a more bounded option for feed use.
Pinterest Shopping is another freemium alternative.
Mavely is another freemium alternative.

Verdict

Choose LTK if you are a creator who wants storefront, publishing and commission tools together, or a brand that can work within its campaign quotas and spend limits. Its main advantage is the connection between creator commerce and brand campaigns; look elsewhere if your team needs several low-cost seats or broad creator access without moving to a higher or custom-priced plan.
