Overview

Founded in 2012, iLeasePro is built for private US companies managing 25 to 500 leases. It brings accounting and administration into one cloud service, with automatic updates and backups. The company says implementations typically take less than a week, and SMART import can help users get started in under five days.

The web-only platform supports lease accounting under both accounting standards and includes ASC 842 compliance reporting. That breadth makes it more than a document register, but smaller teams should weigh the contract caps against the scope they actually need.

Key features

Accounting and integrations

A FASB Classification Wizard, automated journal entries, amortization schedules and financial disclosure reports support the accounting workflow. iLeasePro can provide ledger-agnostic journal entries, and its homepage describes connections with Sage Intacct, QuickBooks and other ERP or general-ledger systems. The Sage Intacct web-services integration synchronizes general ledger, dimensions and payables; Excel export offers another route for working with the data.

This is a strong fit for teams that need lease accounting tied to their financial systems, especially Sage Intacct users. The more general ledger connections are described broadly, so the specific Sage Intacct synchronization is the clearest integration case.

Portfolio administration and analysis

A centralized portfolio, document library, contact management and automated critical-date alerts bring routine lease administration into the same system as accounting. Rent schedule tracking and lease abstraction add to the administrative scope. Financial analysis includes side-by-side comparisons, what-if scenarios, cash-flow reporting and more than 50 standard reports.

The reporting and scenario tools should help teams assess portfolio choices without relying only on individual lease records. For a small business needing only date reminders and basic reporting, much of this broader toolkit may be more than necessary.

Security and support

The company states that iLeasePro is SOC 1 Type 2 certified, receives security audits twice a year, and offers role-based access controls and audit trails. Auth0 integration supports single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, social logins, and user authentication and authorization. Phone support is available Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM EST; email responses typically arrive within 24 business hours.

Pricing

Pricing ranges from a permanent free tier to monthly paid plans, with a 15-day trial that requires no credit card and provides full access to the selected plan’s features. The free tier is useful for a small portfolio, but its five-contract ceiling is far below the company’s stated target range.

Plan	Price and limit	What it means
Starter	0.00 USD per free, billed forever; up to 5 contracts	Includes document upload, critical-date alerts, basic reporting and unlimited users. A practical way to try core administration, but the small contract cap rules it out for most target portfolios.
iLeaseXpress	149.00 USD per month; up to 15 leases	Includes ASC 842 compliance, Excel export and email support, with no setup fees and cancellation anytime. It is the lowest-cost paid option, though its lease ceiling remains modest.
Essential	240.00 USD per month, billed monthly; up to 50 contracts	A step up in capacity for a small-to-mid-sized portfolio. The published plan facts do not identify included features beyond its contract limit.
Professional	480.00 USD per month, billed monthly; up to 150 contracts	Fits a larger portfolio than Essential, at twice its monthly price. The stated distinction is capacity.
Enterprise	960.00 USD per month, billed monthly; up to 500 contracts	Designed for the upper end of the company’s stated target range and includes 10 hours support. More than 500 contracts requires a custom quote.
iLeasePro	Custom pricing	Price depends on portfolio size, selected features and contract term. Includes unlimited leases, document and portfolio management, more than 50 reports, Sage Intacct integration, virtual support and five free support hours.

The contract ceilings make the price ladder consequential: a company with more than 15 leases must move beyond iLeaseXpress, and plans up to Enterprise top out at 500 contracts. Starter allows unlimited users, but the plan details do not establish seat limits for paid tiers.

Platforms

iLeasePro runs on the web. Its cloud-based, multi-user delivery and automatic updates and backups suit teams working in a shared system, but the platform listing is web-only.

Who it's for

iLeasePro is best suited to private US companies with a medium-sized lease portfolio that need accounting schedules, compliance reporting, administration and portfolio analysis together. Sage Intacct users have the clearest case for integrated ledger workflows. Very small portfolios may find Starter sufficient if five contracts cover their needs; businesses that need only basic administration may not benefit from paying for the broader accounting and analysis package.

Pros and cons

Pros: Accounting workflows include classification, journal entries, amortization schedules and disclosure reporting, supporting more than just lease tracking.
Pros: Portfolio administration, critical-date alerts and more than 50 reports combine operational oversight with financial analysis.
Pros: Sage Intacct synchronization and Excel export provide concrete options for moving lease information into financial workflows.
Pros: Starter is free forever and permits unlimited users, which helps small teams assess core administration without a seat cap.
Cons: Starter stops at five contracts, and iLeaseXpress at 15 leases, so a growing portfolio quickly faces a paid-plan decision.
Cons: The listed monthly prices rise from 240.00 USD per month for 50 contracts to 960.00 USD per month for 500; larger portfolios require custom pricing.
Cons: The product is web-only, and paid-plan seat limits are not established in the plan details.

Alternatives

Prophia Lease Administration is worth considering when the priority is a free AI-only abstraction tool: Prophia Abstract costs 0.00 USD per free and covers around 20 essential lease terms, without human review. iLeasePro is the broader option when accounting and portfolio management are needed alongside lease records.

EMS Academic Scheduling is an alternative for readers seeking academic scheduling software rather than lease accounting. MRI Property Management X, VTS Lease, CRE Lease Matrix, Lease Harbor, Nakisa Capital Projects Suite and The Lease Toolkit are also alternatives to compare for lease-related needs.

Verdict

Choose iLeasePro if your company needs lease accounting and administration in one web platform, particularly if Sage Intacct synchronization and portfolio reporting matter. Its accounting depth, analysis tools and broad capacity make it a persuasive option for mid-sized portfolios. Look elsewhere if you need a genuinely low-cost path beyond five contracts, a non-web platform, or a tool focused only on simpler lease administration.
