Overview

Wix Fitness Website Builder is for studios, trainers and other fitness businesses that want a public website tied to their bookings and client operations. It suits owners who would rather manage those jobs together than assemble separate tools, though the useful booking features require a paid plan.

Key features

Site building and bookings

Businesses can generate a site with AI or tailor a fitness template in a drag-and-drop editor. That gives owners a choice between a quicker starting point and more control over the layout. Integrated scheduling handles appointments, staff availability and client bookings; clients can book classes or consultations through the site, mobile app, social media, Classpass or a shareable link. Those booking routes are useful for businesses promoting classes across multiple channels.

Operations, payments and memberships

Wix Fit combines calendar, client and staff management with reporting, analytics and community tools. Businesses can sell memberships and packages, offer trial sessions and discounted classes, take recurring payments and restrict content to members. Class booking, online enrollment, a member portal and on-demand content extend the offering beyond one-off appointments.

The fitness website page says payments can be accepted through more than 100 providers, including credit cards and digital wallets. Named integrations include PayPal, Stripe, Wix Payments and QuickBooks, alongside Google booking and connections such as Instagram, Facebook Pixel and Google Ads. Social and email marketing, SEO tools, advertising, live chat and automated email and SMS communications give businesses ways to promote services and follow up with clients.

Security and support

Wix says it uses HTTPS, TLS 1.2 or higher and automatic SSL for data in transit, AES-256 encryption for stored data, and identifies SOC 2 Type 2, PCI DSS Level 1, ISO certifications, GDPR, CCPA and LGPD. Its plans include free hosting, advanced security monitoring and a stated 99.99% uptime. Customer care is offered 24/7, with chat and scheduled calls with a Customer Care Expert.

Pricing

The Free plan costs 0.00 USD per free and includes hosting, a drag-and-drop editor, no-code design features and templates. It is a sensible way to build a basic web presence, but it does not include the scheduling and services features that make this a fitness-business platform.

Light costs 17.77 USD per month, billed as a yearly subscription paid in full at purchase. Its 2 GB storage, two site collaborators and light marketing suite fit a small site that does not need the listed scheduling and services tools. Core costs 29.77 USD per month on the same annual prepayment basis; it adds 50 GB storage, five collaborators, basic eCommerce, scheduling and services. For a solo professional or small studio taking bookings and payments, Core is the practical starting point.

Business costs 39.77 USD per month, paid yearly in full at purchase, and provides 100 GB storage, 10 collaborators, standard eCommerce, scheduling and services. It better fits a team needing more room and collaborators. Business Elite costs 159.77 USD per month on the same payment terms, with unlimited storage, 100 collaborators, advanced eCommerce, scheduling and services; it is aimed at larger operations, though the price is a substantial step up.

Wix says displayed prices are yearly subscription prices paid in full at purchase, and price and currency vary by location. There is no free trial. The platform transaction fee is the payment processor's fee, so businesses should account for that separately.

Platforms

The platform is available on web, Android and iOS, supporting both website management and mobile access for fitness businesses and clients.

Who it's for

Wix is best suited to fitness professionals and businesses that want a website, multi-channel class or consultation bookings, payments and membership tools in one system. A business that only needs a simple website can start free, but should not expect that plan to supply the paid scheduling and services features. Owners who need those functions should budget for Core or above and accept annual payment upfront.

Pros and cons

Pros

Bookings span several channels: Clients can reach class and consultation booking through the site, mobile app, social media, Classpass or a shareable link.
Fitness operations sit alongside the site: Calendar, staff and client management, analytics, memberships, packages and community tools reduce the need to treat the website as a separate concern.
Flexible ways to earn: Recurring memberships, trial sessions, discounted packages and members-only content support more than single-session sales.
Free entry point: The Free plan includes hosting and templates, while 24/7 customer care is offered with every plan.

Cons

Scheduling starts at a paid tier: Light is cheaper than Core but does not include the scheduling and services called out for Core and higher plans.
Annual prepayment matters: Monthly prices are displayed for yearly subscriptions paid in full at purchase, which requires a larger upfront commitment.
Payment costs remain: Transaction fees are set by the processor, not removed by choosing Wix.
No free trial: Businesses can use the Free plan, but there is no trial period for paid features.

Alternatives

For a broader comparison focused on the same category, browse Fitness Website Builders. The directory also has a Property Management Website Builder Software list, though that category serves a different business need.

Appy Pie Real Estate Website Builder is a freemium web option with a free plan capped at 25 manually added listings and a Starter plan at 12.00 GBP per month; choose it when building a real-estate listing site is the priority. Dtravel offers a free Starter plan with up to 25 listings and booking fees, or a Pro plan at 19.00 USD per month; it is an alternative for property booking needs rather than fitness scheduling. Hospitable's free Essentials plan includes unlimited active properties, while its Host plan is 29.00 USD per month with one included active property, making it an option to consider for property hosting operations.

Houfy has a free plan with a one-time 5.99 USD host verification fee to appear in search, instant payments, calendar sync and unlimited photos; it is aimed at property hosts. Mixo offers a free one-page site on a Mixo subdomain with hosting, SSL and AI-generated content and design, a narrower website-building option if fitness-specific operations are not needed. Nesty is a property-management alternative with Pro at 399.00 GBP per month for up to 99 properties and Enterprise at 799.00 GBP per month. PropList by Propertoro has a free plan capped at 10 active listings and one portal, and a Pro plan at 49.00 USD per month; it is oriented to listings rather than fitness services. Rent on Cloud offers a free Basic plan with no admin fee and tenant-screening bolt-on, for rental operations rather than fitness businesses.

Verdict

Choose Wix Fitness Website Builder if you run a fitness business and want a site connected to booking, payment, memberships and day-to-day client management. Its breadth across booking channels and business tools is the central advantage. Look elsewhere if you need only a basic site or cannot commit to annual prepayment for the paid scheduling features.
