Overview

Spokbee brings product rules, guided selling, visual configuration and quoting together for online sales. Buyers can compare options, materials and finishes in 3D, while rules keep selections within valid combinations. That is more useful than a simple option form when products have interdependent choices or when customers need to see how finishes look before requesting a quote.

Room planning extends the experience to products bought as part of a space: customers can drag and place multiple items in a 3D layout. The platform can be embedded on an existing website or shared as a hosted experience, with branding and responsive layouts for desktop and mobile. That flexibility suits teams that want to publish a configurator without making the website itself the only delivery route.

Key features

Selections carry specifications and pricing into reviewable quotes, with product and pricing rules applied along the way. This gives sales teams a defined handoff from guided selection to a priced proposal rather than just a visual mock-up. The AI builder can use a product description or spreadsheet to help create options and rules, potentially easing setup; teams still need product logic that reflects what they can actually sell.

For engineering-led catalogs, Spokbee connects Onshape parametric models to customer-facing choices and can request updated geometry when an option changes the shape. That makes the connection relevant where configuration affects product geometry, rather than merely changing a finish or add-on.

REST APIs and webhooks can connect configuration, pricing, quotes and supported events to other software. But developer documentation requires sign-in, and access depends on plan, settings and permissions, so teams should confirm their intended integration path before committing. Compatible AI assistants can discover published products, validate choices, calculate prices and prepare quotes using product rules, extending configuration into assistant-led commerce.

Stripe powers payment processing and can enable checkout from the configurator. Spokbee says integrations use OAuth, does not retain third-party passwords and can be disconnected in settings. HubSpot and Salesforce connections are not currently available, a meaningful gap for teams that need customer and quote activity to flow directly into either CRM. Support is available at support@spokbee.com.

Pricing

Spokbee is freemium, with a free plan and pricing on request. The Starter plan has no published price and includes Builder access, initial AI credits and 3D model uploads. That gives prospective users a way to begin building with models and AI assistance, but the initial credits are not a stated ongoing allowance. Teams should ask about the paid price and any relevant usage or seat limits before planning a rollout; no seat count or quota is specified for Starter.

The free plan may suit an initial evaluation, but its scope and limits are not established. For a business deployment, custom pricing means cost cannot be compared from a posted rate, and plan-dependent developer access makes it important to confirm which API and webhook capabilities are included.

Platforms

Spokbee is available on the web and through an API. Its primary deployment is hybrid, which can suit organizations connecting a customer-facing configurator with other systems. Web publishing supports embedded and hosted experiences, while responsive layouts cover desktop and mobile; those are presentation options rather than separate listed apps.

Who it's for

Manufacturers and product teams with configurable catalogs are the clearest fit, particularly when rules, 3D visualization or geometry changes matter. Sales teams can use rule-driven quotes, while engineering teams can connect Onshape models to customer choices. Commerce developers may value the API, webhooks and AI-assistant support, subject to plan access. Dealers and distributors are also among the intended users. Businesses that rely on HubSpot or Salesforce as the center of their sales process should look elsewhere until those connections are available.

Pros and cons

Pros: Product rules connect 3D choices to specifications, pricing and reviewable quotes, keeping guided selling tied to a sales outcome.
Pros: Room planning and Onshape geometry updates address products that need spatial presentation or engineering-linked configuration.
Pros: Embedded or hosted publishing, plus responsive layouts, gives teams more than one way to put the experience in front of buyers.
Cons: Starter pricing is custom, and its initial AI credits do not establish a continuing allowance, making budget and usage planning harder.
Cons: API and webhook access depends on plan, settings and permissions, while HubSpot and Salesforce connections are not yet available.

Alternatives

Product Configurator Software is the broader category directory for comparing configurators. Expivi is another option if its Android and iOS availability matters alongside web and API access; it has a free plan and a paid pricing model. DynaMaker may suit teams looking for a web-based free tier with publishing, team invitations and public users, while its Lite plan offers unlimited public users.

ConvertSite Product Configurator is worth considering when a stated free allowance is important: its Free plan includes 250 AI credits per month, capped at 100 per day, and publishing starts a seven-day free trial. Apto.ONE is a free alternative for teams prioritizing open-source licensing and self-hosted or desktop platform options. ConfigCraft Suite may fit a web or self-hosted store needing a free guided configurator with simple option pricing and WooCommerce cart and checkout.

Hulk Product Options is an alternative for teams seeking a free development-store tier or a published Basic price of 10.00 USD per month. QAD Configurator is an add-on module to QAD Enterprise Applications, so it may be the more relevant choice for organizations already working in that suite. Acumatica Product Configurator offers tailored pricing based on applications, expected usage, resources and deployment preferences, making it an option for teams seeking that kind of quote-based arrangement.

Verdict

Choose Spokbee if you manufacture configurable products and need one workflow for rule-guided 3D selection, room layouts, engineering-linked geometry and quotes. Its strongest case is tying the buyer experience to valid selections and priced sales output. Look elsewhere if predictable published pricing or direct HubSpot or Salesforce connectivity is essential.
