Overview

Gustav supports prime vendors, sub-vendors, master vendors and MSP offerings. Primes can share openings with all vendors or selected trusted partners, while sub-vendors can join and follow primes through the free sign-up. That gives staffing teams a way to coordinate external suppliers around candidate flow, rather than treating each handoff as a separate process.

The product's scope is deliberately staffing-oriented: job sharing, candidate review, hiring pipelines and ATS connections sit at its center. It is a less natural choice for organizations managing partner relationships without recruiting or staffing workflows.

Key features

Vendor distribution and candidate review

Gustav Circles groups vendors and supports tiered job releases. This lets primes release openings to selected tiers instead of broadcasting every role across the whole network, a useful control for teams working with trusted vendor groups. Teams can source vetted candidates, create scorecards, review documents and sync submissions to an ATS, keeping candidate evaluation connected to submissions from vendors.

Pipeline coordination

Custom hiring pipelines track candidate stages and can trigger automated vendor notifications. Teams can also send available interview times from the pipeline to candidates and vendors. Together, these features support a connected handoff from job distribution through interview scheduling, though their value depends on managing hiring through vendor relationships.

ATS connections and data handling

The Bullhorn integration shares jobs, receives candidate submissions, imports files and syncs custom data. Gustav's Chrome extension syncs JobDiva jobs and submissions and can trigger vendor notifications when statuses change. An XML feed exports jobs from the Gustav Job Marketplace to an ATS. These options address different connection needs, but JobDiva's described workflow specifically depends on the Chrome extension.

Most data is stored in an AWS database encrypted at rest and in transit, with server access restricted. Gustav says it does not sell personal information and limits collection to what is needed for its services or legitimate business purposes. Fuse Cooperative, a member-owned Limited Cooperative Association, operates Gustav as its technology platform. Its Verified H-1B Program uses visa scanning, reference verification and credential wallets for candidate verification.

Pricing

Gustav uses a freemium model, with pricing on request for paid use. The Free Vendor Sign-up plan costs 0.00 USD per free. Sub-vendors can join and follow prime vendors, and primes can invite current partners. That covers basic network participation, but the stated inclusions do not describe the broader hiring and integration workflows; teams considering those capabilities should request custom pricing.

The free sign-up is most relevant to vendors joining a network or primes inviting existing partners. It is not enough to establish the cost of a full staffing operation, and no seat count, quota, trial term or renewal condition is provided for this plan.

Platforms

Gustav is available as a web product and an extension. The extension has a specific role in the JobDiva workflow, while the web platform supports access to the broader product. No mobile platform is indicated, so teams needing a dedicated mobile app should compare alternatives.

Who it's for

Gustav suits staffing organizations that distribute jobs through prime and sub-vendor relationships, especially those that need vendor tiers, candidate review and ATS-linked handoffs. It is less suited to companies seeking a broad channel-partner program or a recruitment workflow that does not involve external vendors.

Pros and cons

Pros: Tiered releases through Circles give primes control over which vendors receive openings; pipeline notifications and interview scheduling keep vendors involved as candidates move forward.
Pros: Bullhorn, JobDiva and XML feed options support several ways of moving jobs and submissions into ATS workflows.
Cons: Pricing on request makes the cost of broader use harder to assess than the free vendor sign-up.
Cons: Its staffing focus makes it a poor fit for teams whose partner management is not centered on jobs and candidate submissions.

Alternatives

For broader partner-management comparisons, browse Partner Management Software. Choose Vartopia instead if a free partner and vendor hub with no user limit, including a complimentary vendor microsite, better matches the need. Introw is worth considering for a partner portal with HubSpot and Salesforce CRM integration: its free Starter plan has one seat and one portal, while Scale has five seats and 50 custom reports.

PartnerPortal.io may suit a smaller program that can work within a free cap of five partners, 10 leads, 10 resources and one team member, or a Professional plan at 249.00 USD per month for 100 partners and 1,000 leads. For other web-based options, compare PartnerVertex, PowerPRM, ZINFI, 360insights Experience Hub and Channeltivity.

Verdict

Choose Gustav if your staffing operation depends on distributing jobs and coordinating candidate submissions across vendors: its tiered releases, hiring pipeline and ATS workflows address that specific need. Look elsewhere if you need a general partner-management platform, or if you need firm pricing before committing to anything beyond free vendor sign-up.
