Overview

GoThru combines a custom tour creator, a Street View publishing tool, a desktop 360-image app, and a free Chrome extension. That makes it useful when a project runs from organizing panoramas through publishing and sharing, rather than when the only need is a hosted tour.

The tour creator supports themes, plugins, multilingual content, a side menu, and usage statistics. Floor plan views, custom branding, and embed codes add useful presentation options. The Street View Moderator accepts direct uploads or imports from Google Drive and Dropbox, lets users connect and preview panoramas, then publish them to Street View. Its blur tool can obscure faces, license plates, and other sensitive details before images go public.

Key features

Photo Studio and image workflow

GoThru Photo Studio is a freemium desktop app for viewing, organizing, editing, and publishing 360-degree images. Its free offering requires neither a trial nor a subscription, which makes it a practical starting point for image work; it runs on macOS and Windows. AI image tools are supported, and users can connect their own API key, such as an OpenAI key, for tools including Tripod Remover. Publishing destinations include GoThru, Panorra, and Google Street View.

Street View utilities

The free Chrome CID and PlaceID Finder retrieves Google Business identifiers and Street View panorama details. It can also generate share links and provide access to full-resolution panorama images, a focused utility for photographers, local SEO specialists, agencies, business owners, and developers.

Image requirements and hosting

Tour panoramas need a 2:1 aspect ratio and must measure from 5300×2650 to 14000×7000 pixels. That favors users who already produce compatible 360 images and creates extra preparation work for those who do not. GoThru hosts tours, but custom-tour links stop working if a subscription ends. Users can instead pay per tour or download and host the tour themselves, trading convenience for control over ongoing access.

The privacy policy describes physical, electronic, and administrative safeguards, while also allowing data to be processed or transferred through third parties in other countries. Support includes email, phone, documentation, training videos, a forum, and weekly Hangouts, giving users several routes for guidance.

Pricing

GoThru offers a free plan, has no free trial, and paid subscriptions start at $15 per month. The plans differ most in monthly Street View/Blue Line tour allowances, storage, and daily video quotas:

Plan	Price	Included limits
Pay As You Go	0.00 USD per month (billed $0 USD/month)	2 GB; Street View/Blue Line tours cost $14 USD per tour one time; tours with 4 images or fewer publish free.
Basic	15.00 USD per month (billed $15 USD/month)	2 Street View/Blue Line tours per month; 100 GB; 0 360 videos per day; 0 walkthrough videos per day.
Pro	34.00 USD per month (billed $34 USD/month)	10 Street View/Blue Line tours per month; 100 GB; 5 360 videos and 5 walkthrough videos per day.
Agency	75.00 USD per month (billed $75 USD/month)	10 Street View/Blue Line tours per month; 500 GB; 20 360 videos and 20 walkthrough videos per day.

Pay As You Go suits occasional publishers who can budget per tour, with a useful free route for very small tours. Basic is the entry point for regular publishing, but its two-tour monthly allowance and zero daily video quotas make it a poor fit for video-heavy work. Pro raises the tour allowance and adds daily video capacity without increasing storage beyond 100 GB. Agency keeps the same tour count as Pro, but quadruples storage and video quotas, so it makes most sense for larger production volumes rather than simply more Street View tours.

Platforms

GoThru supports Android, iOS, macOS, web, Windows, and a browser extension. Photo Studio is limited to macOS and Windows, so mobile users can access other parts of the product but not that desktop editing app.

Who it's for

GoThru is best for Street View photographers and marketing agencies that need panorama publishing alongside branded, hosted tours. Local SEO specialists can use the identifier extension, while business owners and developers may value the publishing utilities and embed options. It is less suitable for anyone without compatible 2:1 panoramas or who needs hosted tour links to remain live without a subscription.

Pros and cons

Pros: A single suite covers tour creation, Street View publishing, desktop 360-image editing, and business-identifier lookup, reducing the need to split those tasks across separate tools.
Pros: The Moderator's blur tool and multiple panorama import routes address practical publishing and privacy needs.
Pros: The free plan, free Photo Studio offering, and free extension let users begin without a paid subscription, though plan quotas still shape publishing volume.
Cons: Custom-tour links stop working after a subscription ends unless users pay per tour or self-host.
Cons: The specified image ratio and resolution range can require source-image preparation before tour creation.
Cons: Basic includes no daily 360 or walkthrough video quota, limiting its usefulness for video publishing.

Verdict

Choose GoThru if you publish Street View panoramas and also need tools to edit images and build custom, embeddable tours. Its joined-up workflow and free entry points are compelling, but the image specifications and subscription-linked hosting make it a weaker choice for incompatible source images or tours that must stay online without an ongoing plan.
