Overview

GuardConnect links shift planning with timekeeping, patrol checks, incident handling, and client reports. That makes it a practical fit for ongoing, multi-site operations that need to manage field activity as well as document it. Teams looking only for checkpoint scans may find that breadth unnecessary.

Officers can keep clocking in, scanning QR checkpoints, filing incidents, and completing daily activity reports while offline; the data syncs when connectivity returns. The maker says most teams are live in 2–3 weeks, with onboarding covering data migration, site and post setup, schedule import, and officer onboarding. That support can help with a move from existing workflows, but the stated timeline is not an immediate rollout.

Key features

Scheduling and timekeeping: Multi-site shift scheduling and roster management help coordinate posts across locations. Geofenced clock-ins tie time records to officer locations, while logged edits and approvals provide an audit trail useful for compliance and disputes.
Payroll exports: Payroll-ready exports support ADP, Gusto, QuickBooks, Paychex, and most major payroll providers, with custom CSV formats also available. This reduces the need to re-enter time data, though teams should confirm that their payroll workflow is covered.
Incident and patrol workflows: Incident reports can include photos and go through supervisor review. QR-code and NFC checkpoint scans verify patrol activity, giving supervisors records beyond a clock-in alone.
Client reporting: Automated daily activity reports and branded client portals give contract operators a way to share work records with customers without relying solely on internal reporting.

Pricing

GuardConnect uses a freemium model. The Free plan is free for 1 to 10 officers and includes the guard mobile app, patrol checkpoints, incident reporting, GPS tracking, and guard timekeeping. It is a useful entry point for a small team evaluating whether the core field workflows fit, but it does not establish what a larger operation will pay.

Paid pricing is custom pricing based on active officer count and selected modules. Back-office users and supervisors are not charged, which may matter to organizations with larger administrative teams; book a demo to get pricing for the required configuration. Because module selection affects the quote, teams should identify the workflows they need before comparing costs.

Platforms

GuardConnect is available on Android, iOS, and the web. Officers use the iOS or Android app for mobile timekeeping and field tasks, while the web platform supports the broader operation.

Who it's for

The named audiences include contract guard companies, in-house security teams, warehouse and logistics operations, apartment and community security, campuses, and command centers. The strongest case is for teams coordinating officers across posts while also needing incident review and client-facing records. A small team of up to 10 officers can start on the free plan; organizations with more officers should weigh the custom quote against their module needs.

Pros and cons

Pro: Scheduling, geofenced timekeeping, patrol verification, incident workflows, and client reporting sit in one service, which suits operators who need a connected record of shift activity.
Pro: Offline support covers several core officer tasks and syncs records after connectivity returns, a useful safeguard when field access is unreliable.
Pro: Payroll exports and custom CSV support provide options for transferring time records into payroll workflows.
Con: The free plan stops at 10 officers, so larger teams must move to custom pricing.
Con: Paid costs depend on active officer count and selected modules, making it harder to budget without a demo quote.
Con: The stated 2–3-week deployment timeline may not suit teams needing an immediate launch.

Verdict

Choose GuardConnect if your security operation needs scheduling, officer timekeeping, patrol and incident records, and client reporting together, especially across multiple sites. Its free plan gives smaller teams a way in, and offline field workflows add practical resilience. Look elsewhere if your team exceeds 10 officers and needs predictable pricing before a demo, or if it only needs a narrower patrol tool.
