Overview

Futureworks connects strategic priorities to department, team, and individual goals through its 360 Vision tree. Filters and alignment status help teams trace how goals support wider priorities, while cascading goals, check-ins, progress reviews, and dashboards keep execution under review. Advanced permission controls add a layer of oversight for organizations with more complex structures.

The AI Context Engine turns uploaded PowerPoint, Word, or PDF strategy documents into actionable OKRs. Meeting Mode brings templates, timed agenda items, a Good News round, OKR status updates, and action tracking into the same workflow. Together, these features suit organizations that want more than a goal register, but may be excessive for teams seeking only basic OKR tracking.

Key features

Alignment and progress oversight

The 360 Vision tree makes links from strategic priorities to individual goals visible, with filters and alignment status to help review those connections. Check-ins, progress reviews, and reporting dashboards support follow-through; advanced permissions are useful where access needs to reflect organizational roles.

Strategy documents and meetings

The AI Context Engine offers a path from existing strategy documents to actionable OKRs. Meeting Mode structures recurring discussions and tracks actions alongside OKR updates, which can help keep goal review and follow-up in one system.

Integrations, security, and access

Integrations include Jira, GitHub, Microsoft Planner, Azure DevOps, Google and Microsoft SSO, Microsoft Teams, SCIM 2.0, Slack, webhooks, and a REST API. Slack reminders are marked as coming soon. Futureworks says integration tokens are encrypted, permissions scoped, and data encrypted at rest and in transit. It also lists GDPR compliance, SSO support, and SCIM provisioning.

Users can check in and update progress from iOS or Android, and developers can build integrations through the REST API. Technical support requests can be sent to the support team at support@futureworks.no.

Pricing

Futureworks advertises free access for 1–5 users without a credit card, plus a 30-day trial. For paid plans, prices are billed annually and exclude VAT; each tier is priced by user range:

Plan	Price	Seats
Futureworks (1–25 users)	15.00 EUR per month	1–25 users
Futureworks (26–50 users)	13.00 EUR per month	26–50 users
Futureworks (51–100 users)	11.00 EUR per month	51–100 users
Futureworks (101–200 users)	9.00 EUR per month	101–200 users

More than 200 seats requires custom pricing. The per-user price falls as the covered range rises, so larger organizations may benefit from the lower rate, while the 1–25 tier is the relevant paid option for smaller organizations. Annual billing and VAT exclusion matter when comparing total costs; the free access is limited to five users.

Platforms

Futureworks supports web, iOS, Android, and API access. Mobile check-ins and progress updates extend the workflow beyond desktop, while the API supports custom integrations.

Who it's for

Futureworks is a strong fit for organizations that need to connect high-level strategy with goals across multiple organizational layers, especially Nordic organizations and public institutions managing complex accountability. Its permissions, reporting, meeting workflows, and integrations are relevant to teams coordinating execution across departments. A small team that only needs lightweight goal tracking may be better served by a simpler or more generous free tier.

Pros and cons

Pros: The 360 Vision tree connects priorities to goals at several levels, making organizational alignment a core workflow rather than a side feature.
Pros: Check-ins, reviews, dashboards, and Meeting Mode bring progress and follow-up together.
Pros: A free option for 1–5 users provides a way to start without a credit card.
Cons: Paid prices are billed annually and exclude VAT, which raises the effective commitment and total cost beyond the displayed monthly rate.
Cons: The first paid tier covers 1–25 users at 15.00 EUR per month, so teams above the free cap enter a relatively broad seat band.
Cons: Slack reminders are coming soon rather than currently available.
