Overview

isolved HCM is a people-management platform that brings payroll, HR, benefits and talent functions together for organizations with 50 to more than 1,500 employees. It suits employers looking to connect those operations, especially when payroll and benefits need to work alongside broader employee processes. Its breadth is the draw; custom pricing means buyers should weigh the full modular setup against their needs.

Key features

People Cloud covers the employee lifecycle from hiring through retirement, with modules for talent acquisition, HR and payroll, benefits, workforce management, talent management, and AI and analytics. That range gives employers a way to bring multiple people functions into one platform, but organizations needing only payroll may not benefit from adopting such a broad suite.

Benefits Administration connects plan research, selection and enrollment with payroll and providers. For employers coordinating benefits and pay, that connection can reduce the separation between enrollment and payroll workflows. Payroll also includes tax filing, W-2 and 1099 support, direct deposit, reporting, tip management, POS integrations, multi-state payroll and employee self-service, making it relevant to employers with varied payroll requirements.

Employees and administrators can use a web browser or mobile app. The Integration Marketplace offers third-party extensions, while a REST API supports integrations. These are useful options for fitting People Cloud into a wider software setup; the actual fit depends on the extensions and integrations an organization needs.

People Cloud runs on Microsoft Azure systems, with encryption in transit and at rest. Its security controls include MFA, TLS, AES-256 encryption, intrusion detection and prevention, web application firewalls and annual external vulnerability testing. Azure datacenters used by isolved are certified to more than 90 compliance standards, including ISO 27001, FedRAMP and SOC 2. That infrastructure is a substantial part of the platform's appeal for organizations with security and compliance considerations.

Pricing

isolved HCM is paid software with custom pricing. Its Customized Pricing option is described as modular and intended for organizations of every size and industry, but no price or package breakdown is provided. Buyers should request a quote and clarify which modules their organization needs before comparing total cost. There is no published lower-priced plan to assess against the broader platform.

Platforms

People Cloud supports web, Android and iOS access, plus an API for integrations. The combination suits organizations that want browser and mobile access alongside programmatic connections to other systems.

Who it's for

isolved HCM is a strong candidate for organizations with 50 to more than 1,500 employees that want payroll, benefits and multiple HR functions connected in a unified platform. Its payroll features also make it relevant to employers managing multi-state payroll, tips or POS integrations. Employers seeking a narrow payroll tool, or those who need a firm price before evaluating a product, should look elsewhere or request a quote before committing time to a broader assessment.

Pros and cons

Broad employee-lifecycle coverage: HR, payroll, benefits and talent modules can serve employers aiming to bring people operations together.
Connected benefits and payroll: Benefits Administration connects enrollment work with payroll and providers.
Wide payroll coverage: Tax filing, W-2 and 1099 support, direct deposit, tip management, POS integrations and multi-state payroll address varied employer needs.
Integration options: A marketplace and REST API give organizations routes to extend or connect the platform.
Custom pricing: Without published prices or package-by-package costs, buyers cannot readily compare its cost with narrower alternatives.

Alternatives

Choose CDM+ if a church needs a paid option with a free trial and a published Essentials price of 25.00 USD per month, billed monthly by auto-draw ACH, for one program and one user. Shelby Financials Payroll is another paid payroll option, with a monthly-fee Payroll Module that requires active Shelby Financials. Amplify Accounting may fit churches seeking accounting software with pricing based on church size and selected solutions and a free trial.

ACS Facility Scheduler, FellowshipOne, and Elexio Church Accounting are other paid options to consider. Verdict

Choose isolved HCM if your organization wants payroll, benefits and a wide range of HR and talent functions connected in one platform, with web, mobile and integration options. Its breadth is the clearest reason to consider it; custom pricing is the main reason to look elsewhere if you need a straightforward cost comparison or only a focused payroll product.
