Overview

Franchise Launchpad is a web-based platform for franchisors managing sales leads, FDD workflows, and franchisee resources. It is most appealing to teams that want those functions together without paying for the software plan. The broader offering also includes separate document-preparation and compliance services, but buyers seeking only a focused CRM may find that scope unnecessary.

Key features

CSV imports with duplicate detection, status tracking, activity logs, team assignments, notes, tasks, and follow-ups give sales teams a structured way to manage prospects. A drag-and-drop Kanban board makes deal stages visible, while analytics cover conversion funnels, pipeline velocity, lead-source ROI, and salesperson performance. That combination supports both daily follow-up and sales review; its value will depend on whether a team needs the broader franchise workflows too.

Franchise Launchpad electronically sends FDDs and tracks the FTC 14-day period with timestamped audit trails, email notifications, and reminders. It lists DocuSeal integration for e-signatures. These tools help teams keep disclosure activity organized, while the company's separate FDD preparation service handles the document work itself.

The branded franchisee portal brings together training courses and quizzes, marketing materials, document sharing, announcements, royalty invoicing, and ACH collection. For franchisors managing ongoing franchisee communications and payments, that is a meaningful extension beyond sales CRM. It may be more than a sales-only team needs.

The company also offers FDD preparation covering Items 1–23 and exhibits, state-specific addenda, annual updates and amendments, and Item 19 financial performance. Its state registration service covers 13 registration states, filing compliance, examiner responses, and renewals. Agreement services include franchise and area development agreements, territory rights and restrictions, and default and cure provisions; operating manuals and opening playbooks are also offered. This breadth suits organizations seeking software alongside franchise support, but software and services are distinct parts of the offering.

Pricing

The Free forever plan costs 0.00 USD per free, requires no credit card, and can be cancelled anytime. It provides a zero-cost way to consider the platform, but no seat, usage, or feature caps are stated, so teams should not assume particular capacity from the free price alone.

FDD preparation, state registrations, agreements, operating manuals, and opening playbooks are offered as services; their prices are custom pricing. The software's free plan is the only priced plan provided here, so buyers evaluating paid service work should request a quote.

Platforms

Franchise Launchpad is available on the web. Its listed location is Irvine, California, with nationwide service coverage.

Who it's for

This is a strong candidate for franchisors that want lead management, disclosure tracking, franchisee resources, and optional compliance or document services under one provider. It is less suitable for buyers who need mobile or desktop apps, or whose requirement is only a lightweight sales pipeline.

Pros and cons

Pros: The free forever plan has no credit-card requirement, lowering the barrier to evaluating the software.
Pros: Lead tools, FDD tracking, analytics, and a franchisee portal span several core franchising workflows.
Pros: Separate preparation, registration, and agreement services can support teams that want help beyond software.
Cons: No seat or usage limits are stated for the free plan, making its practical capacity hard to judge before adoption.
Cons: Service prices are custom, so costs beyond the free software plan require a quote.
Cons: The platform is web-only, which rules it out for teams requiring dedicated mobile or desktop apps.

Alternatives

Browse Franchise CRM Software to compare options across the category. Choose FranChat if franchise discovery and brand-profile tools are the priority: its free listing supports a basic profile and responses to information requests but provides no leads, while its other free plan lets users browse 564+ franchises. FranchiseLauncher is a closer alternative for FDD workflows, with a free plan limited to one user, five FDD sends monthly, and a 1 GB document vault; its Pro plan costs 49.00 USD per month, billed monthly, for up to five users and unlimited FDD sends.

Consider FranConnect if you need a paid platform spanning Android, iOS, MacOS, Windows, API, and web; pricing depends on modules, integrations, data migration, and rollout scope. FranchiZeManager is another paid option, with a Pro fee that varies by location, modules, and logins. Franchora is a paid web, Android, and iOS alternative. FranDash is also paid and supports web, Android, and iOS.

For enterprise-focused needs, FRM Solutions offers enterprise and custom enterprise solutions at custom pricing. Azura is a paid alternative with a tailored franchise-management subscription, low set-up fee, flexible contracts, and system updates included in its monthly subscription.

Verdict

Franchise Launchpad is worth considering for franchisors that want a free web-based starting point for sales, FDD tracking, and franchisee management, especially if they may also need preparation or registration support. Its broad workflow coverage is the main reason to choose it; look elsewhere if you need mobile apps, clearly defined free-plan capacity, or a CRM without adjacent services.
