Overview

Flarebox connects students, alumni, colleges and companies through private college networks, with verification for students and alumni and email-and-domain verification during institutional onboarding. That college focus can make the network more relevant to campus opportunities and mentorship than a general career platform, while narrowing its usefulness to institutions seeking a campus community and placement layer.

For colleges, the product covers placement workflows such as approving drives, tracking applications, scheduling interviews and exporting reports. It does not cover ERP, learning management or fee collection, so colleges needing those administrative systems will need separate software. Flarebox says transmission uses SSL/TLS, stored data is encrypted at rest and authentication uses OAuth 2.0. Users may connect Google accounts for sign-in; Flarebox says it does not access personal emails or documents.

Key features

Students can find resume reviews, mock interviews, workshops, projects, internships and campus drives. The college network adds groups and chat, mentorship, an alumni directory, placement drives and college analytics. These features bring community and placement coordination together, but they are not a substitute for a full campus administration suite.

Career tools include an AI resume builder and ATS scanner, cover-letter and other career tools, mock interviews and practice tests. The practical distinction between plans is not just access: the free plan offers a preview resume builder and scanner, while paid plans include full AI career tools. Pro Annual adds deep analysis for interviews and instant solutions for tests, making it the stronger fit for students who expect to use practice tools regularly.

Pricing

Flarebox uses a freemium model, with student-facing plans priced in INR. Free Forever costs 0.00 INR per free, billed forever. It includes 3 AI mock interview sessions and 3 AI mock practice tests per month, standard alumni chat replies, and a basic resume-builder and ATS-scanner preview. That is a useful starting point for occasional use, but the monthly AI caps and preview-only resume tools limit it for students relying on repeated practice or full career-tool access.

Pro Monthly costs 99.00 INR per month, billed monthly. It raises the allowance to 30 AI mock interviews and 30 AI mock tests per month and includes full AI career tools, priority alumni replies, mentorship booking, and priority support via chat and email. It suits students who want regular practice without paying annually.

Pro Annual costs 999.00 INR per year, billed annually. It includes 30 AI mock interviews per month with deep analysis, 30 AI mock tests per month with instant solutions, full AI tools, and premium mentorship matching. The annual option is aimed at sustained use and adds more detailed feedback and mentorship matching; its billing is annual rather than monthly. Flarebox advertises a full refund if requested within 24 hours of purchase.

Who it's for

Flarebox is a sensible fit for colleges whose placement officers, alumni relations officers, deans or principals want a college network alongside drive and application workflows. It also suits students seeking campus opportunities, alumni connections and structured career practice. Colleges that need ERP, LMS or fee collection, or students who need AI practice beyond the free monthly caps, should consider other tools or a paid plan.

Pros and cons

Pro: Private college networks combine alumni search, mentorship, chat and campus opportunities, keeping career connections tied to a college community.
Pro: Placement workflows cover drive approvals, application tracking, interview scheduling and report exports, useful for institutional placement teams.
Pro: The free plan provides recurring interview and test practice without a subscription, and Pro Monthly increases each quota to 30 sessions per month.
Con: Free AI practice is capped at 3 interviews and 3 tests monthly, and the resume builder and ATS scanner are only previews.
Con: Flarebox does not cover ERP, LMS or fee collection, so colleges cannot use it as their complete administration system.
Con: Pro Annual bills for a year at once, which is less suited to students who want to pay month by month.

Verdict

Choose Flarebox if your college wants a verified student-and-alumni network connected to placement workflows, or if you are a student looking for campus career support and a free way to try interview and test practice. Its main advantage is bringing those campus connections and tools together; look elsewhere if your institution needs ERP, LMS or fee collection, or if the free AI quotas are too restrictive for your practice needs.
