Overview

Jenni AI combines long-form writing, SEO features and team collaboration. Its free tier makes it possible to start without a subscription, while the paid plans raise the monthly writing and chat allowances.

Key features

Writing and editing

Long-form writing is the clearest fit for drafting substantial pieces, and SEO features make Jenni relevant to writers who also work on search-oriented content. The Free plan's 10 daily autocompletes and three AI edits are enough for limited, occasional use, but not an open-ended drafting workflow. Plus raises those allowances to 5,000 autocompletes and 500 edits per month; Pro removes the monthly caps on both.

PDF research and AI chat

PDF uploads, page allowances, reviews and AI chat give readers a way to work with documents as part of their writing process. The Free plan allows 10 uploads but caps total PDF length at 150 pages, with five chat messages and three reviews. Plus increases that to 500 pages, 500 monthly messages and 10 reviews, with a 100 MB PDF size limit. Pro doubles the page allowance to 1,000 and makes chat and reviews unlimited, while retaining the 100 MB size limit.

Pricing

Jenni is freemium. Free costs 0.00 USD per free, billed monthly, and includes 10 AI autocompletes per day, 10 PDF uploads, three AI edits, five AI chat messages, three reviews and 150 PDF pages. It is a useful way to try a restrained workflow, but daily autocomplete and small editing and chat quotas make it a poor fit for sustained use.

Plus costs 30.00 USD per month, billed monthly. Its 5,000 monthly autocompletes, 500 edits, 500 chat messages and 10 reviews suit regular individual use, provided the 500-page PDF allowance and 100 MB file-size limit are adequate. Pro costs 73.00 USD per month, billed monthly, and gives unlimited autocompletes, edits, chat messages and reviews, plus 1,000 PDF pages and the same 100 MB file-size limit. It is the plan for heavier usage, but PDF size and page ceilings still apply.

The advertised paid-from price is 12 /mo (annual), while the listed Plus and Pro plans are monthly-billed at higher prices. Compare the billing term as well as the included quotas when choosing a plan.

Platforms

Jenni AI is available on web, iOS and Android, with multilingual support. That combination suits writers who move between desktop and mobile; no particular language list is provided.

Who it's for

Choose Jenni for long-form and SEO writing when AI-assisted drafting, document work and mobile access belong in the same workflow. It is less compelling for occasional users who need only a narrow writing task, or for PDF-heavy work that regularly exceeds the plan's page or file-size limits.

Pros and cons

Pro: The Free plan includes real, if small, allowances for drafting, edits, chat and PDF work, so a light user can try the workflow without paying.
Pro: Paid plans scale from capped monthly quotas to unlimited writing assistance, making the upgrade path clear for growing usage.
Pro: Web, iOS and Android access plus multilingual support accommodate varied devices and language needs.
Con: Free use is tightly rationed: just three edits, five chat messages and three reviews, alongside 10 daily autocompletes.
Con: Even Pro limits PDFs to 100 MB and 1,000 pages, so very large document workloads may not fit.
Con: The paid-from annual price and the listed monthly prices are materially different price references; check the billing term before deciding.

Alternatives

For a different writing focus, compare AI Essay Writers, AI Writing Tools and AI writing assistants. Choose Essay if its free allowance of three essays, 5,000 words, 12 notes and 10 personalized topic recommendations better matches a bounded essay task. Consider SciSpace if you want a research-oriented option with a browser extension and iOS app as well as web access; its Basic plan includes 100 monthly credits. Acade AI Citation Generator may suit someone seeking a free writing and citation toolkit with 1,000 credits and unlimited writing. Academly is worth comparing for its free signup points, basic summaries and automatic citations, with a free trial also offered. Aithor offers limited free generation and editing plus humanizer, detector and paraphraser tools. Arzo may fit a school-focused essay workflow, with two free Essay Studio sessions. Conch AI Citation Generator is a focused pick for free APA, MLA or Chicago citations without signup. EssayBot is another option for a free paper with real sources, an AI detection score and citations.

Verdict

Jenni AI is a sensible choice for multilingual writers who need long-form drafting, SEO features and PDF-supported work across web and mobile. Its free tier gives a low-commitment start, and Pro supports high-volume AI writing; look elsewhere if you need consistently large PDFs or a focused citation or essay tool rather than a broader writing workflow.
