Overview

The platform tracks user behavior and player journeys through basic and custom events, with reports for retention, monetization, and user journeys. Retention, funnel, monetization, and cohort analysis address common questions about engagement and conversion; cross-platform analytics brings activity across mobile, web, and multiple devices into one workspace. This breadth is useful for teams managing more than one app environment, though the free tier's 25k MAU ceiling can constrain larger products.

Key features

AI-powered insights are designed to detect patterns, surface anomalies, and highlight growth opportunities. They can direct attention to changes worth investigating, while the reports remain the basis for understanding user behavior. A/B testing and remote configurations extend the product beyond measurement: teams can compare variations and change app settings in real time.

Integrations include AppsFlyer, Adjust, Kochava, Branch (Tune), Tenjin, and Slack. Basic adds raw data export, including API access, which is useful for teams that need to work with underlying data rather than only built-in reports. Security measures include TLS 1.3 or similar encryption in transit, AES256 or similar encryption at rest, and periodic penetration testing. Amazon Web Services is listed as a data hosting provider in the EU.

Pricing

devtodev uses freemium pricing, with a free plan, paid plans from $33/mo, and a 30-day trial that gives access to all features and tools. Basic is billed from $33/mo per 10k MAU. The exact entry cost is modest, but the per-10k-MAU basis means teams should weigh expected audience growth alongside its quotas.

Free — $0/mo: Up to 25k MAU, 30 custom events, five team members, and raw data stored for up to three months. It is a practical starting point for small teams, but the limited seats and event allowance can make it a poor fit once analytics needs expand.
Basic — from $33/mo per 10k MAU: Up to 250k MAU, 300 custom events, unlimited team members, and raw data stored for up to six months. It removes the free plan's team-size constraint and expands both event and audience limits, making it the clearest step up for growing teams. Integration and onboarding support are included.
Business — custom pricing: Unlimited MAU, 300 custom events, unlimited SQL, and raw data stored for up to 12 months. It suits teams that need SQL access and longer retention at unlimited scale; its custom price requires a direct conversation.
Enterprise — custom pricing: Unlimited MAU, 500 custom events, automated data provisioning and SSO, and raw data stored for up to 18 months. The longer retention and enterprise controls fit larger organizations, with premium add-ons and support.

The free plan trades scale and retention for no monthly charge; Basic raises the caps but still limits raw-data history to six months. The 30-day trial offers a way to assess the full feature set before choosing a plan.

Platforms

devtodev supports Android, iOS, macOS, web, and Windows. Its cross-platform workspace is particularly relevant to teams whose user journeys span mobile and web rather than a single platform.

Who it's for

Developers, analysts, and marketers working on apps or games are the intended audience. It is a strong fit when a team wants behavioral reporting, experimentation, and raw data export in one product. A small team can begin on Free, while teams needing more members, events, or retention can move to Basic; organizations requiring unlimited MAU, SQL, SSO, or longer data history should consider the custom-priced tiers.

Pros and cons

Pro: Analytics spans retention, funnels, monetization, cohorts, and journeys, giving teams several complementary views of product behavior.
Pro: A/B testing and real-time remote configuration pair measurement with ways to test and change app settings.
Pro: Basic includes raw data export and API access, while its team-member allowance is unlimited.
Con: Free is capped at 25k MAU, 30 custom events, five team members, and three months of raw-data storage, limiting its usefulness as teams scale.
Con: Business and Enterprise use custom pricing, so their cost cannot be compared from a fixed monthly rate.
